I’ve been coming to Rusert’s now for several years, always ordering the same sandwich: maple honey ham on a round roll. I’m a big fan of the sandwiches here because the ingredients are very fresh and there’s a good sandwich meat to bread ratio in their sandwiches. They use boars head ingredients so I prefer their sandwiches to the ones I get at chain places like subway, jersey mikes, etc. Overall a pretty solid find

Russerts is my favorite deli in the area. First of all, great bread. That is the key to great subs for me. Next, Boars Head meats. They prepare subs fresh and they are quick. They do have premade sandwiches but I’ve never gotten one. Great selection of drinks and chips. They have unsweetened iced tea and cape cod hips (my personal favorites). It is not much to look at but they deliver the goods when it comes to sandwiches. Oh yeah, I have gotten premade breakfast sandwiches. Big, served on lovely Lund rolls. Great prices across the board too.

I would frequent Russert’s Deli often, when I was working locally. Sandwiches were ALWAYS fresh. I would often choose something from their menu. Very friendly and outgoing individuals. Was a real pleasure. Miss coming here for lunch. Only gave three stars because they did not accept credit cards at the register (but they did have an ATM w/​surcharge).
