I had a life long dream to fly a plane. I did not know what to expect when I did this as far as the flying part of it. Well let me say the guys at Air-​Mod are awesome! Mat answered what seemed to be about 1,000 questions I asked him with a genuine enthusiasm and love for flying. Jay, my instructor was just as awesome. It made my first time a great experience and I will without question return there. I would most positively recommend this place to anyone who wants to realize their dream of flying. See you in the spring!

Today I took my first flight lesson ever at Air Mod Flight School and it was amazing. I’ve always wanted to learn to fly and now I can cross that off my bucket list. Jay was an awesome instructor! He was very laid back and extremely knowledgeable considering he’s only been teaching for a year or so!
Immediately after we got to the airfield, we were shown to the plane. After getting in the plane, he gave us a run down of the dashboard. A short 10 minutes or so later, we were in the air!
Jay showed us how to turn right and left, use headings to determine direction, how to correct the nose of the plane (to go higher or lower), but he did all the hard stuff (a.k.a. Take offs and landings). Whether you’re just looking to cross off an item on your bucket list or want to be an airline pilot, this is a decent place to learn to fly!
