Stopped into Sidewinders to watch a game at the bar. Great bar service and several TV’s to view the game. Food was OK. Would not recommend for eating. Live music started around 9:30 and was really good!

I went for the soup and salad during lunch after great reviews from coworkers. I’m not sure what they saw. During lunch the atmosphere is about on par with any chain buffet place you can think of. The salad bar was pretty good, and it includes random things like mac and cheese or hotdogs, if you’re into that kind of thing. The soups were just ok. Overall, I’m not sure I got out of it what I paid for.

Better than my last visit. Had a nice time an enjoyed the music. I have to agree that all the security kind of freaked me out!

Lunch buffet is a cheap, quick option. $ 7.99 for soup, salad, and hot food buffet. The service can be a little slow and it can get a little crowded. Not a big fan of the atmosphere including the servers wearing cowboy hats.

Wings good and hot. Steak slow and cold. Beer tasty. Boobs pushed up. The Soup and Salad bar would probably be a great place to get lunch. The soups were hardy, but overall, not impressed and would not return if I had a choice in the matter.

What was Roanoke lacking? If you said a country western bar, then you deserve a punch in the throat. My friend dragged me here and I figured… why the hell not? Then I walked into the 7th level of hell. And apparently, I missed paying a cover by about 10 minutes. The rest of my group arrived after 8:30 on a Friday night and had to pay 5 dollars cover. 5 dollars apparently buys you the honor of letting you see Hooter’s quality(mind you Roanoke Hooter’s quality) waitresses and whatever band that’s playing. It also allows you the privilege of eating here. I got the House ribeye which consisted of a ribeye steak covered in cheese and onions. I can honestly say, it wasn’t the worst thing I have ever eaten. It was just on the negative side of mediocrity. The onion rings I had were pretty good. Maybe it was an off night but my drinks were watered down. The people at my table who ordered beer were satisfied with their drinks but the people who ordered mixed drinks were not. Now, if you like country music and country line dancing, then you might like this place. There were plenty of people on the dance floor. One thing I wondered about was all the security at this place. I counted about 8 security guards. There’s something disheartening and unsatisfying about being stared down by a security guard right before you go to the bathroom. If you decide to try this place, try to get in before there’s a cover charge. If you like country line dancing, then this is probably the place for you. I probably won’t be back.
