Chic Nails & Tan

I really like this spot. The staff is professional and they do an excellent job. The Hawaiian pedicure is relaxing and my feet feels great. They were able to accommodate 2 walk-​ins on a Saturday morning. I am at least 30 minutes away but it is worth the drive. They even have a child’s chair which I thought was cute.

It is comedic when I try to paint my nails. I end up getting it everywhere, and eventually have to break down and pay for professional intervention.
Stopped in Chic Nails & Tan on my lunch break. I will say, the girls were very sweet. I had the salon to myself (I unfortunately now understand why) so they chatted it up with me the entire time. I got a basic manicure and one of the deluxe pedicures. The nurse in me get grossed out by all the funk people can have creepin under their nails, so I keep mine really short. Apparently this makes me the problem child of nail salons, so I understand if it is not 100% perfect, but my nail tech painted all over my fingertips. I have chunks of nail missing polish and bumpy paint in my cuticles. Not cute. My pedicure was slightly better due to a solid 30 minutes of leg massage etc, but there was a lot of coloring outside the lines going on here too. I can use nail polish remover when I get home to get it off, but am disappointed that I paid for it. I wish I would have saved my money and done it myself.
If you decide to come in, bring cash. They accept credit card but you can’t add tip onto your charge. I had some today by chance but would have been embarrassed otherwise.

If you are looking for a relaxing nail salon, this is not it. The nail tech was talking on her cell phone while doing my manicure. The yelling in the room from 4 employees is ear piercing.

They are real friendly and do a great job. Ask for Annie, she is kind of quiet, but skilled in doing Gels, Pink and White. They offer all types of pedicures as well and can do both nails and pedicure at the same time.

The always get my nails exactly how I want them to look. It’s not the fanciest salon, but it’s definitely not trashy. I have been a couple of times and I plan on returning here in the future.
