Stopped here on March 12th after the st pattys day parade it was wait but the line moved very fast we brought a 28 inch pizza the slices were huge and the pizza was great the crust was great we will becoming here again when we come back to town

The pizza here isn’t just pizza. No, here they serve giant, delicious slices of heaven! The pizza tastes great, and the employees are very friendly. Be warned: if you have trouble eating a lot, or if your body just isn’t used to eating slices of pizza that are bigger than your head, then you shouldn’t try eating more than one slice. I usually eat between 1.5 and 2.5 slices, although I wouldn’t recommend drinking Gatorade while wolfing down so much pizza. I would definitely recommend this place to fellow pizza lovers. And plus, it is very close to the Center in the Square and the Candy Store, two locations worth visiting.

While the service on the day I stopped by wasn’t as friendly as other reviewers have written about, I assumed it was part of the «vibe» Benny’s was trying to capture. The pizza (went with pepperoni) was pretty good, and you’d be hard pressed to find a better price-​to-​pizza ratio anywhere else. I’m glad that their business seems to be doing well, and we’ll be back.

Great place to get a good slice of pizza that is bigger than your head! :) $ 4.00 a slice. They also have a cooler full of old school bottled/​canned sodas to choice from!

The pizza is good, not great. Slices are huge so only order one. My main issues with the pizza is that the crust is too doughy and the special toppings, like artichoke or roasted tomatoes, are put on a reheated regular cheese pizza slice. I’d prefer those special toppings to be added when cooking for better flavor. Atmosphere looks a bit like college joints I went to near my alma mater (and every college, really).

Oh my. I’ve had a lot of pizza at a lot of different places, and what a huge surprise to find this place in downtown Roanoke. Slices are huge — don’t order more than one unless you’ve just come off of a long fast. I would legitimately say that this is in the top five of best pizza slices I’ve ever had in my entire life. Super friendly people and great prices — do not miss this place!

There’s nothing fancy about this place. Their pizza slices are huge, fresh & delicious, though. $ 5 for a slice of pepperoni; $ 4 for a slice of cheese. They have tons of drink options, including some glass bottle drinks. The staff behind the counter were friendly. We recommend Benny Marconi’s!

Excellent pizza! I eat a lot of pizza and I was truly impressed with this place. One slice is enough too. The slices are huge and for $ 5 you can’t go wrong.

Pizza slices are huge! The slices cover two paper plates, overlapping each other by about a third. I have a decent appetite, but was content with the one slice. Normally, I wouldn’t be content with a single slice, but this pizza isn’t normal.
Overall, this is a friendly, open place with good pizza. You can pop in and have a slice quickly, hot and ready in less than five minutes.
It wasn’t very crowded while we were there, but was steady. There is character in the old building, but I have to admit that it felt a bit dirty.
I recommend it, but with the caveat that you’re going for the food instead of the atmosphere.

Great pizza. Fresh and for the size of the slice you get, you can’t beat it. Huge huge slices. One piece will fill most. Limited menu. Pizza or a drink. Which is fine.
Very friendly staff as well. You can also enter to win free slices each week by posting on social media sites.
Toppings range from cheese to pepperoni all the way to the more inventive chicken bacon ranch and philly cheese steak.

Friendly staff, amazing price! $ 5.00 for a slice of pizza as big as my head?!? Yes please! Cherry cream soda from bottle? Yes! The staff is super hospitable, clean and quick! I loved every ounce of this place ! I love down towns buildings anyways, and this place was above expectations. Love local businesses! Keep it up boys!
Simple menu. Good but not exceptional pizza. Of note the pizzas are 30 inches in size so a slice is big enough for two.
I will go back. Feels like it will be reliable.
