Nice, friendly place. The waitresses are nice but most of the time during the evening hours, plan on waiting for a table. But ive got to say the last 2 visits there, the food was sub-par. So for the price for 2 people, I would go someplace else.

Not impressed. When we asked the waitress what the most popular dish was, she recommended the Chile Verde plate, she specifically said it came with pork chunks. It was $ 14 and the plate literally consisted of two tortillas covered with the Chile Verde sauce… two tiny pork chunks. With small portions of rice and beans, it definitely was not worth it. I am sure we will try again sometime… hopefully with a better result.

Service and food were outstanding. The carne asada street tacos were fantastic– as recommended by our waitress. If you come after 4pm you also get bean dip with your salsa. The salsa was good, but nothing to write home about. Overall, the food and service would lure me back.

I have been here a few times. This most recent time was by far my favorite and I can’t stop thinking about it. We came with a large group, close to 10 people. They put us at the best table. It was a perfect square and tucked in a corner. Perfect for visiting. Our waitress was adorable and was so good at drink refills and checking on us. They bring out chips and salsa and a bean dip to start. I love that they do the bean dip. It’s something that sets them apart from other Mexican restaurants. I usually get the same thing when I got out to Mexican restaurants, the enchiladas, but this time I tried something new. I got the carna asada burrito smothered in their queso. I seriously can’t stop thinking about it. To start off it was huge! The meat was seasoned just right and their queso is to die for! I got full pretty quickly but I could not stop eating it! It’s been 2 weeks tomorrow since I’ve been and it’s all I’ve been thinking about. I can’t wait to get back. The atmosphere there is great as well. A nice laid back family environment. They have patio seating as well. There can be a wait if you are going on a Friday or Saturday so plan ahead.

The food is amazing! Love the ribs! And the nachos are fabulous, super large portions! We always get nachos to share with the whole table! They are able to accommodate large parties easily! Always friendly and fast service. I would say it’s the best Mexican restaurant in the Riverton, SoJo, Herriman area

Good sized portions. The food was good but not spicy at all. The drinks are good and cold on tap. My wife loved her mixed drink

We thought we’d give this place a try after seeing the long line of people. There is always a line. The complimentary chips with beans and salsa is good. The food is mediocre at best, it’s good if you prefer more of a tex-mex. It is not five star Red Iguana Mexican food by far but it’s fresh. If you’re looking for spice this isn’t the place to go. But if you want a good mild mexican dinner this will suffice.

This brotastic Mexican oasis is a safe bet if you’re stuck in the banal wasteland of southern Salt Lake county. Where chain restaurants thrive, this is a fairly safe option for Mexican food. The staff is rife with bedazzled jeans and peppy attitudes. If that’s your kind of good time, swing in on a Tuesday and grab the all you can eat tacos, brah.

Went to dinner with my wife and friends. I had never been to this restaurant before, but I will definitely come again. We also hit the jackpot with our waiter, Jared. Jared you were amazing. The best Mexican food I have had in this area.

This place seriously has the best Mexican food ever! Everything I have ordered is delicious, with lots of flavor. Before your meal they bring you chips and salsa, as well as refried beans with melted cheese on top –so good. They have a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, I personally have never tried any before but they have a fun little bar area that fits the theme of the restaurant. Their desserts are delicious here as well! I haven’t ordered anything that I’ve hated, it’s all delicious. I live in Midvale and drive 25 minutes just to eat here… that’s definitely saying something!

This was not good food and it was expensive We had the chicken tacos and I couldn’t even eat them My son had the ribs and I have to say it was the only thing I thought was decent. Even the quesadilla my son –in-law had was awful.

My family came to celebrate Mother’s Day here at Salsa Leedos, I have never been, so I was extremely excited for some yummy food, delicious margaritas, and free fried ice cream(it was advertised on Facebook that all Mom’s get free fried ice cream). I was SO disappointed with my experience. The service was slow, the food was bland, my order was taken incorrectly, and when it came time for dessert we were informed that the chef had sneezed on the ice cream so they had to throw it out… that is the most ridiculous excuse I have ever heard. Do we look stupid? Apparently to the staff of Salsa Leedos we do. On the bright side, the Margarita was delicious. Won’t be back though!

Nice family friendly place, awesome waiters, usually packed so expect to wait at least 10 mins for dinner Friday & Saturday. But you can call ahead of time to put down your name. The flavored lemonades and chips & salsa are my favorites! Good lunch spot with friends! Guaranteed full belly!

We have eaten here twice since our move from Texes to Utah. This is the closest we can find to Tex Mex! I like the hometown feel to the restaurant. The food is pretty good… it could use more spice to the food. It’s a tad on the bland side for us but still really good. We would like to see the queso have more flavor. But overall we are very happy with this restaurant and will be back for more!

In a part of town without a lot of originality, I’m always happy to visit. They’re quick about fixing any issues, and pleasantly. Margaritas are not too light on the tequila and the flautas appetizer comes with queso dipping sauce. Alcohol, salt and cheese in the southern suburbs? I’m game. Service has been continuously improving over the last couple years, and everything is really good, just keep what you expect in check. Street tacos are a good bet!

Been meaning to review this for years. Low three stars. We have been many times but haven’t been back for maybe a couple years. Service typically isn’t amazing. Food is less than inspiring. There’s some things we like alright, but with Mexican there so many better choices out there(Red Iguana, Las Glorias in Draper, even Café Rio). Eating here you just know it’s American made Mexican food. On a side note, I think it’s funny that we refer to this place as Sleezy Leedo’s because there’s been a lot of trashy things they out in their readerboard sign along the road — imagine stuff like very obvious sexual innuendo jokes about big burritos that I’m not wanting my older kids to see(more in the past, haven’t seen any eyebrow-raising stuff recently, maybe they cleaned it up?)

It is always fantastic. We had the burrleedo smothered in queso and is was so good. Good service and really clean dining room. We also took some chips and salsa to go. Yummy
