Walgreens

i went in to this location with my father to pick up his prescriptions. We were next in line and the lady that was being assisted at the counter obviously didn’t speak any english, the lady behind the counter, Nancy, did call for a code S (spanish speaking person). While they were waiting for someone to respond Nancy kept making remarks that someone who did speak english would find rude. For Example, Nancy and the pharmacy manager would say «do you even know what this medicine is for» and «ugh this is going to take for ever to put back, what a waste of time.» Luckily their code S finally arrived and took over their transaction, but unfotuantely Nancys attitude carried over to my transaction. She would glance over at the lady and keep rolling her eyes while she was helping my father and I.

My normal pharmacy and go to store for beauty products. However I don’t know what is going on with the pharmacy here. I had 3 prescriptions I dropped off. The clerk Abner said they’d be ready at 1:30. I go at 2 just to be sure they’d be ready. Well I get there and they have to check with the pharmacist, never had that happen before. So I get them and go home. I open the bag and there are only 2. I try to call but waited for 20 minutes. I decided just to go back, I am told that my doctor didn’t give the dosage instructions. I asked why no one could have called me to let me know. All I got was a oh I’m sorry. BTW these are anxiety meds. No wonder I need them. They had to fax it back to them. This is now my 3^rd trip out so I decided to go back to the doctors office and no fax had been sent. As I’m waiting they get a phone call from walgrens and realize that the instructions had been there the entire time on the back of the prescription. Now I’m pissed beyond belief at the lack of competence on walgrens end. I return to walgrens and the snotty clerk Abner says sorry its going to be a 15 minute wait. Say what! I am going to find a new pharmacy to use. I don’t know who hired this incompetent kid to work in a pharmacy. Sorry walgrens I’ve enjoyed your store but this was just absurd.

Do not come here if you’re in a hurry. The pharm-​tech was polite and sweet. The pharmacist was EXTREMELY rude. I waited over an hour for my prescription to be filled after I got out of the hospital.

I love this Store! Super Nice employees and i use the Pharmacy a lot and they always have my prescriptions ready fast. I have to go hear at least once a month for my dogs seizure meds and i usually talk to Nancy in the pharmacy. She always tries to help me and she applied my AAA discount to the account so I save a lot of money every month. They even ask me how Bailey, my dog, is doing and i keep with updated on her seizures. The building is on a weird corner but its worth the U-​turn. Thanks guys, see you next month!

How absolutely ridiculous that if you are buying a beauty item you now can not go to the check out at the front. Instead you have to waste time at a «separate» register where you are waiting for a worker to even come over and help you… All the while you could have checked out at the front, stopped to have a conversation with someone, and still already been in your car and on your merry way. Talk about «reverse» streamlining ! What a waste of ten minutes of my life… Guess I’ll go elsewhere with more convenient policies!!!

Meh, they did have an item cheaper than Rite Aid, but I couldn’t use it and returned it with no hassle. I appreciated that. :)
I cruised the store, not a whole lot here and located on an odd corner of Arlington and Van Buren, I think others tend to go to that Rite Aid or Wal Mart right down the street. It was nice and empty.
A bum wrapped in a military print blanket came in the store and yelled SEMPER FI!!! And asked the cashier for a plastic bag. That was kind of a special additional piece of entertainment.

When you suddenly wake up from your sleep and you crave cereal and.…you don’t have cereal and milk, the 1^st thing you think of is Walgreens. Sure it may be a little more expensive but you are paying for convenience.
And for some strange reason you hurt yourself while getting from your house and into your car, well, you are going to the right place…winning!

This is the most painful experience ever at a pharmacy… The only reason that I come here still is that it’s close to home but I have a feeling I won’t be coming here for too long.
