WaBa Grill

This was my first time at a WaBa Grill and was very pleased! The employees smiled and seemed genuinely happy. The chicken and the beef plate was delicious and tender. My husband was eating it and KEPT making comments about how good it was. He is fussy so I was quite pleased.

ROTTEN! Food quality and service. I ordered a chicken bowl. And it was actually OK. My daughter ordered the Miso soup and it tasted gross. She took it back and asked for a refund because it did not taste good but the owner said she didn’t care too bad you ordered it it’s yours she would not refund her money. Every time I’ve gone to a restaurant if I don’t like something, It’s very common for management to refund money and apologize.
For $ 2.00 she lost 3 customers that’s pretty sad. Do yourself a favor save your money and go to Flame broiler or «Peking» Chinese restaurant. They very close by. Good food service at Peking.

Pretty good, their ratios were good and the teriyaki is my favorite as always!

They were Ok. Sometimes great, other times not so great. I like my food hot, and at times they fail to deliver a hot meal. Owner is really nice

Went there today for lunch. Janet helped me and had a smile on the whole time. Just was so polite. It was my first time there. Great food and great people!

This place has awesome food. The manager that was working on Tuesday night is a great guy. He cares about making the customer happy rather they are new like I was to eating here or someone who had eaten there before. I will for sure be going back to eat here again.

Love their food. So fresh and delishhhh. We always have the chicken teriyaki bowl with vegetables and brown rice. Fast service, great food, and affordable

Why, WHY am I listening to rap music while I eat with my family? I’m literally listening to «booty, booty, booty everywhere»… How is this appropriate?

I had just finished a workout and needed something healthy. I’ve been to many Waba’s but this place stood out. It was during the lunchtime rush and yet the lone moved quickly and the staff was genuinely happy and helpful.
If you’re looking for quick, heathy and hopeful, this is the spot.

This place is amazing. You get so much food and best of all its healthy food. I come here on a regular basis not only just because of the food but also because of the manager. He is always so friendly and working right along side with his employees.

So I’ve been coming to this location more now since my previous go to spot had taken a steep fall in quality among other reasons. New faces from when it opened. The chicken has become more consistent of what I expect in a waba bowl. They have there own pump for waba sauce as where others have bottles which I never liked since they where usually low or empty and my the time you asked for a new bottle your food was cold. Not to mention you get to add extra onions and other toppings to your liking big plus for me. Quick and courteous service when I visit just don’t let me down like the other location did please :)

PLEASE GO TO ANOTHER PLACE THIS ONE IS JUST TERRIBLE!!! I went during my lunch today and this restaurant was so busy there isn’t a place to sit so I decided not to eat there and ask my food to go, when I was looking for the little containers to get my teriyaki sauce I couldn’t find any so I decided to put the sauce on the little plastic bags beside the chiles zone as soon as the attendant saw me she told me there I cant take any sauce with me cuz it was a waste of sauce and money for the restaurant!!!
I mean Really?! How come you have a waba grill and ask food to go and you cant take any sauce??? If I could put a –1 star I will do it… Just TERRIBLE!

Had the chicken and steak combo plate and it was wonderful, reminds me of Flamebroiler. The portion size was perfect and I was full and happy, nice little lunch spot.

I finally stopped by for a post-​workout meal at WaBa. I wasn’t too impressed with the interior. Even though this place is fairly new, it wasn’t kept clean and organized as it could. And there was only 1 table occupied. C’mon workers, get busy! Luckily, the food was really good! I got the beef/​chicken combo plate with brown rice (no extra charge) and double salad since I don’t like fruit. I love green onions so I added extra more to my plate. The beef was marinated in a sweet sauce and I liked the flavor of the chicken so the Waba sauce was unnecessary but adding the hot sauce added a great kick to the meat. The salad was fresh with a light, sweet dressing. It’s prefect for people like me who eat smaller, more frequent meals. I ate half and saved the other half for my next meal. I would eat here over Flame Broiler any day. However, the Waba sauce is plain NASTY! It tastes artificial and I’m not sure if they’re trying to mimic teriyaki sauce? I read the ingredients and no wonder it tastes nasty. A lot of unnecessary artificial ingredients. Just add hot sauce and you’ll be fine. 3 stars for the interior, 4 stars for the food = 3.5 stars.

I really like this place. my husband and i came out of the gym and where looking for a healthy place to eat and we cane accross waba grill loved the chicken veggie and brown rice. the manager was really nice and helped us out. he even asked if it was our first vist and know we go there at least 3 times a month. and i will continue going.

Focus on customer service. I had two bowls and asked for extra teriyaki sauce. She only threw one packet in our bag, really?

Went to lunch today, started eating my food and I found baby roach. If you want to th hassle of taking your food back, go here. GROSS !!

Who doesn’t like WaBa Grill. Always a healthy choice
The staff are very nice here on this visit I had today, which always makes a great experience. The parking kinda blows .very few spots .

I was looking for something ” healthy” and passed by WaBa grill. My usual teriyaki bowl house is Flame Broiler off Magnolia, but this was on my home, so made a pit stop here. When I walked in, there was a slight foul smell when I walked up to the counter. My guess is the steamed broccoli. Service was fast.
I ordered a brown rice, white meat chicken and veggie bowl. It costs $ 7.67. They have hot sauce and Waba sauce right on the counter. I don’t know if they don’t normally pour sauce on the chicken before hand but it was a good thing I took two sauces home because it was completely sauce-​less.
The teriyaki sauce was ok. I think Flame Broiler’s sauce is slightly sweeter. The hot sauce was a watered-​down Sriracha sauce.
I like that you can ask specifically for brown rice or white rice. and the option for dark meat or white meat. (I like having options!) My bowl seemed to be overly rice-​heavy for the chicken bowl. The one thing I DID about my bowl, was the fact that chicken did was not charred or have grill marks. Flame Broiler’s chicken would always have that slight — burnt taste, so the WaBA chicken is better in that way.

Always friendly, always clean. The service and the food have not yet let me down. It’s a basic menu, chicken, beef, veggies or shrimp. Always fresh.
