Burgers here are great. When they first opened the sides were fabulous. I usually order online. Last night I had the worst, toughest tri-tip sandwich that I’ve ever had. It was like trying to bite into leather! My onion rings were slightly overdone but they tasted like fish. It was a busy night but there is no excuse for poor quality meat nor using the same oil for onion rings that the fish was fried in. I’m used to far better from this location which is why they get 3 stars instead of one.

This place is pretty new right next to the movie theater close to home. I ordered the bbq chicken sandwich to-go and it was really good! The Manager that gave me my order made sure i had everything and offered any other sauce i needed. He was very helpful and friendly. 5 stars for Service.

I asked for the Albacore Tuna on a Green Salad. The tuna came raw. The Manager told me that it is how we make it. WRONG! I was so upset that I could not eat the rest of my salad, even when he gave me another one. So, look out the TUNA, it can make you sick.

So for the first time I tried The Habit double cheeseburger. The food was good but I will admit, the burger itself is just not juicy enough for me. I know that sounds odd to some people but I love a juicy burger and I like it when there is a little grease dripping down from the burger as I take a big bite out of it. I took a bite and it just seemed like something was missing. It’s not bad but definitely not close to the top burger place that I regularly go to, yeah you know who. But, if you are in the area and catching a movie or walking around the Riverside Plaza, this is a good place to grab a burger with your friends or family. They also have sweet potato fries and green bean fries. They have chicken sandwiches also. The strawberry cucumber lemonade was delicious. That was a very tasty drink that really hit the spot for me. not great for me, certainly not better than In-N-Out and if you ask me… not better than Islands. Too expensive for the hype and quailty.

1.8÷5 stars I don’t if it is just me but when I went into the habit it smelled really bad. To me it smelled like throw up, I’m not sure if the customers in the restaurant decided not to keep up their personal hygiene that day or if it was smell of rotting flesh. You would think that it would smell good in a restaurant. The burger which was a double char also smelled like throw up. Is this how char smells? If it is, it probably isn’t a good idea to be cooking with it and putting this stuff into my body. I have never had this issue with other burger joints. The burger was too overcooked and dry. It tasted really bland and the bottom bun was soggy. Plus I can’t get the smell of throw up out of my head. It’s really hard to mess up a burger but somehow they did. If you want to meet your new years resolution, come here, this should steer you away from fast food for awhile. Because of this I can’t recommend this place to anyone. I’ll just stick with In n Out, five guys, bakers, and etc.

Seriously! The food here is great and I love a good burger! But what makes this place are the people that work here! When I went to pick up dinner for the family, I realized my husband ordered online from the Tyler location. I was so embarrassed but the manager, Martin, was absolutely incredible. He made it absolutely no problem. I couldn’t believe it! Martin and his team will be the reason my family and I keep coming back! And I will tell everyone I know! Thank you The Habit for your yummy food and absolute amazing customer service!!!

Another 5 stars for another Habit location. The quality, service, staff and prices are excellent. They seem to really get everything right at any Habit location.

I looked forward to my first visit to a Habit Burger Grill with an open mind, since I had read mixed reviews on it. It seemed that most diners either really liked it or really did not. After sampling various edibles here, I put myself squarely in the first classification of diners. I found the French Fries to be good but unsalted and sort of flat. However, Onion Rings were just battered enough, suitably crispy, and excellent all around. I especially liked the mayonnaise in both my Original Charburger on a toasted Sesame Seed Bun and my Mushroom Charburger. The latter contained nice fresh mushrooms and melted Swiss Cheese inside. Booth seating was comfortable, and staff quickly changed out the soda canisters for us after the soda inside turned to seltzer. Burgers here won’t be cooked rarer than medium. But I noted that«medium» was more like«medium toward medium rare». A solid first-rate burger joint! I am a fan.

We love the Habit Burger Grill. They have a variety of different hamburgers and salads. My wife likes the salads and I like the hamburgers. The food is always good here. The day we went, it was very crowded. We took a table where someone had just left. The manager noticed that our table was not clean. He immediately came over to clean our table. I would have to say that every time we have come here to eat, the staff is always really attentive to the needs of the customers. They keep the place clean. We have always had a good time at this restarauant.

If you haven’t tried The Habit before, they serve a thin, World War II-style hamburger patty with a firm bun, caramelized onions, mayonnaise, tomato and fresh lettuce. It’s traditional, but excellently rendered. I tend to order the double charburger with American cheese. The moist rennet from the cheese compensates for the lean patties, producing a burger that easily competes with In N Out. The Plaza location is still working out the bugs on their assembly line. Waits can be long and mixed dine in/take out orders are not recommended. Their malts and fries are decebt, but nothing particularly special. Although the interior is clean and buzzing with activity, I actually prefer to take-out. When you allow the cheese to melt into the patty and absorb the salty, dairy goodness, it’s tastier than the fresh burger.

The line for The Habit is usually out the door every time we drive by it. This has generated a lot of buzz at our office but we never seem to have time to eat there. Yesterday we decided to try it out. The line was actually very short and that the counter was just close to the door so it just seems like there’s a long line since there’s not much room in font of the counter. I expected the pricing to be much more expensive but actually it was quite affordable. You can get a burger, fries, and a drink for about $ 8 which is a pretty good deal. I ended up ordering the Santa Barbara burger on the sourdough bread. The meat itself tasted good but the entire sandwich as a whole was very bland. I found myself trying to coat it in sauce to give it some flavor. They do have a really good Strawberry Limeade that was super sweet but tasty. The Habit isn’t what I expected and the food wasn’t all that spectacular. It’s a nice place but I’m not itching to come back.

Just realized there was a Habit nearby! The location was slightly difficult for me to find because you can only see their sign from one direction in the plaza. Ended up driving around a few times before we saw the place. The inside is pretty roomy, but seems small during their lunch and dinner hours because it gets crowded very quickly. They do however, have outdoor seating which is nice on a warm day. I ordered the Santa Barbara, twice, and loved it both times. It’s a beautiful and fulfilling sandwich since it is a double. The plain fries are alright, and only good when hot. Once they cool down, they seem overly starchy and kind of gross. The sweet potato fries are amazing though. Very light and crispy on the outside, and soft in the inside. They basically melt in your mouth. These are my favorite fries here, and I will continue to order these for my next visits! One of my go-to burger joints!

I go here with my girlfriend a lot for lunch, this place is great. The staff is nice and the food is well priced and delicious. I ordered the Bacon Charburger and had extra cheese and BBQ sauce added and it was well prepared and tasted great. Not only that, they have freshly prepared Strawberry Limeade and it’s delicious. Check this place out if you’re looking for a comfortable place to dine in with good burger.

The interior is very impressive, and the inside of the restaurant looks very clean and new. However my dad and I ate on the patio with 9 dead cockroaches. A worker came out to sweep, looked at them and did not bother to sweep any of them up. I was pretty grossed out. The food! Pretty good, I did see a comment on another review that the sandwich was soggy instead of crisp sourdough which was true. It still tasted good though. For the food is probably give four stars but since the patio was pretty gross it drops it down to two.

So glad there is another Habit location close by! This is a really nice, big store with plenty of indoor as well as a ton of outdoor seating. Very spacious and clean, excellent service! Since they have only been open a few weeks I was expecting a mad house and not quite of top of it crew, but I was very wrong. While the line was out the door the entire time we were here, they moved through it quickly and got orders out fast as well. Love the open kitchen, our food was super fresh and prepared perfectly. I went with the cobb salad and subbed ahi for the chicken, fantastic as always, my husband had a double and a tri tip cobb and loved both as well. Kids meal are generous, both the fries and fried green beans were tasty, portions and prices are great as well. One of my favorite burger chains, I wish them all the best in Riverside!

Very friendly staff, great food and in the middle of a bustling shopping center. There is an outdoor patio, seating area along with a modern and tastefully decorated dining room. The dining room has ample seating however, so if they’re busy be prepared to either take your food or hunt for a table if you prefer to be inside. The food was fresh and tasted good, i’d definitely go back if it wasn’t for the hassle of parking. A tip though, parking at the rear of the Plaza and using one of the corridors right next to the Habit will cut time hunting for parking in the front or off to the really large lots that many other people park at.

I’m so glad The Habit finally expanded to Riverside. I’ve been a regular customer in the LA area and the food consistency remains the same. The food is always fresh, hot, and juicy. The burgers have a lot of flavor and I always add in the mushrooms. The fries are always crunchy and the onion rings are well battered with a good amount of onion in them. This place gets crowded during peak hours, but the food does not take long to come out. Every Habit location I have been to is very clean and well kept. The only downside is not enough seatings! However, it is a fast food joint so people come and go fairly quickly.

Like a lot of people I like to check out the new place, especially to see if I should believe the hype. Habit Burger certainly has hype and is evidently expanding quickly. Filling half of the store space once occupied by sit down restaurants such as Mazz(d. 2013) or Citrus City Grill(d. 2010), I felt like they shortchange customers with limited indoor seating. Consider, on a 105 degree day who wants to sit outside when the shade is 100? My only remaining option was to share a long high table with four other people. Otherwise the dining area is clean and well lit. My order? I spotted the tri tip sandwich, but being a burger joint I decided to get the basic combination and added Swiss cheese. The carmalized onions sounded great, but hold the tomato please. They complied well and managed not to mess up simple instructions. Very good. I liked the selection of unsweetened ice teas snd chose green tea with a floater or strawberry lemonade(try it, it’s a winner). The fries were the standard sort(Wendy’s guage), but I was more interested in what could(italics on could) set them apart from say Unami Burger or Islands. I did like the burger, a little greasy from the grilled onions, but otherwise in the old fashioned manner. However, compared to Johnny Burger across the street only the burger patty seemed slightly better. The fries were fine, hard to mess those up but it’s amazing how many places do(McSanto’s anyone?). Two guys sitting next to me ordered a la carte: a Caesar salad and chocolate shake. The Caesar was deemed acceptable but the shake looked thin in the transparent cup and the guy said it tasted like iced milk, and that Carl’s Junior was much better. Ouch! Three and a half stars(3.5*) for now. I will try a few more menu items and that bacon cheeseburger for sure. I guess I am disappointed with the limited cheese choices. C’mon, American and Swiss? No cheddar or Jack? Me thinks they could offer slightly more here.
