Taqueria Azteca

I was feeling a little light headed so I went in to get a Vampiro juice to lift me up. I also ordered a Torta de Jamon. The girl promptly greeted me and after taking my order went to prepare my juice. It was delicious! Now, as for the Torta… disappointing because I’ve never had uncooked ham strips on my torta. It’s usually a cooked ham slice but anyway I just feel the cook was in a rush to do my sandwich so he could move his car parked out in the alley as I was leaving.

Sooooo good everything they have is just mouthwatering… im an employee so i know firsthand how they prep everything…

What I like about this place are the tortaswhat I don’t like is that a lot of homeless go inside like today I went with my family we were eating and a homeless just started asking my husband a lot of questions and wouldn’t let us eat for me that was and the people that work their wouldn’t even tell him to leave us alone… know wonther I don’t see as much people as it used to. oh and I’m forgetting they took my drink when I was almost done eating I was like what the he’ll I’m almost leaving and you’re barely bringing my water?

This place was nasty and very disrespectful customer service. If I could give them no stars I absolutely would. When I went and asked for an burrito, I told them what I wanted in it. Not one thing did I ask for them to put in the burrito was in there. When I got up to go pick up from the lady when they told me it was ready they slammed the tray on the counter. And when I told them about the burrito they just snatched it out my hand. They made me a new one and everything was in the burrito that I had asked for, but the meat wasn’t cooked all the way. I can’t believe I spent $ 8 for some nasty food and horrible customer service.
If I were you, go to a different Mexican restaurant.

Tried other places but this taqueria rates as one of the best.
The meat is fresh cooked the garnishes are plenty the service polite and respectful.
The agua frescas are excelent and fresh.
They serve you with a smile and a cup of pueblano beans. To enhance the experience.
You want great tacos, buritos at a reasonable. price
Taqeria azteca is the spot.

Worst torta I’ve had in my life. After asking the cashier to make sure they had avocado, she told me yes. Then torta arrived with no avocado. Liars! My wife’s tacos were GREASY! HOrchata was just ok. This place went to shit. And they don’t take cards.

This place is legit. We recently moved from Santa Ana and have been in search of a great taco place. We found El Flaco off of Tyler but it can sometimes can be a bit of a drive to get there. Taqueria Azteca is only like a 2 minute drive away! Birria and cabeza tacos were delicious. I did not care much for the al pastor. Torta Azteca was ok but it was a bit overpriced for the ingredients it had. I will definitely be back especially after seeing that they have 99 cent Taco Tuesday! Cash only!

What a joke. This place is full of roaches!

My all time favorite taco place in my area. Taco Tuesday’s has 99 cent tacos.
I come here for the chocolate licuado just like the ones I’ve had in Mexico.
They also have the original bionicos and they give you a side of condense milk and honey.
The only negative thing about this place is the fact that it’s only cash

Woohoo is understatement, a friend brought me here cause they love this place and now I see why. First bite and my mouth was in love. I order the chicken tacos and they were so good. I would say this is another hidden gem. A must try if you ask me. If you want Authentic this is a good place to visit.

Thrir food os bomb, the only reason they’re getting 4 stars is because they don’t accept ATM :(So take cash! They also have Jugos naturales wicj are damn good too

I was looking for authentic Mexican food and this place is on point. They only take cash :/​but the food was good. The carnitas tacos and burritos are my fav. And the fruit dish is delightful !!

Tacos are better than most around. Bionico friut salad great. Fruit drinks great. Staff very friendly. A bit of a drive across town but worth it.

NEVER AGAIN! I almost chocked on a bone, I ordered posole full of bones big and small and there wasn’t any flavor at ALL. My daughter ordered the taco plate, her plate was super paper thin, her watery beans were going right through the plate. There super cheap with there paper goods and utensils. If you open up a restaurant, please supply the proper eating utensils. They also don’t except debit, CASH ONLY. If you decided to use the restroom, be prepared to go across the street to starter brothers. THERES NO RESTROOMS! NEVER AGAIN!

Good flavor of strawberry and banana juice. I have been going here for 6 years, it use to be one of my favorites but the last 2 times I have been here was not satisfactory. They were out of lengua twice so I got a substitution cabeza instead. I got my burrito and all rice and beans very little meat, so I showed the cashier and she agreed there was not much meat. Really disappointing :(
Since I made it a point to go out of my way to enjoy the food I was use too. I will never go back again … 2 times is enough chances for any restaurant

I’m always looking for good authentic Mexican food. In my opinion, you can usually tell how good a Mexican joint is by tasting their carne asada. I should have stuck with the norm. and ordered a burrito but decided on the torta.
When I saw them make my torta, I was a bit surprised by the way they made it. When I was standing there paying I had noticed a bread bun sitting on this flat toaster behind the lady at the register. It was exposed just sitting there. After I ordered my torta it seemed as thought they piled a pre made mixture of the meat, lettuce, tomato and other ingredients on to this bread bun that was sitting there. Then they put the other half of the bun on top and toasted it with a flat pan of some sort (don’t know the name). I thought that was pretty gross since my assumption was that the meat was inside already. After, they put it on the pan and cooked it for a few minutes.
I was hoping that the meat was already cooked and warm, THEN it would go onto my torta, but I don’t think that was the case. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe there’s something I missed while they made it, but ultimately the torta ended up tasting pretty average. I tried adding some of their «hot» salsa to go with it but it was pretty average as well.
Average food, at an average place, with average service… average star rating.

Perfect carne asada burrito, can’t beat the price. My wife got the Torta Azteca and said it was a 8 out of 10 because she’s not into the beans and pineapple. Uchepos were a great appetizer.

Tacos de Birria are bomb! They have all meat tripa asada lengua carnitas etc not like some taco plAces that only carry asada. They have fresh aguas frescas strawberry and bannana was my favorite! They also make fruit salads bionicos if your looking for some good tacos or Birria this is a good little whole in the wall to try. Don’t forget to bring cash they only accept cash and do not have an ATM machine of you forget to bring cash there’s stater brothers down the street that’s what we did.

I came here for the bioncios. but damn the al pastor tacos are so bomb!!!

Really good Mexican food here.
The 1^st time I tried it was at a family wedding that was catered by Taqueria Azteca. I’ve been hooked ever since. In fact, we hired them to cater my son’s first birthday party as well. Their prices are very reasonable. They did a great job.
The restaurant itself was also a positive experience. The tacos de birria are without a doubt my favorites. The carnitas, asada, and al pastor are also delicious. Their salsas are excellent. Really, I’ve got nothing bad to say about this place.
Oh, and the horchata is perfect!

Excelente comida me encanta el servicio y el negocio siempre está limpió lo único que recomiendo es un poco de rapidez ya que en eso si fallan pero es un lugar 100% recomendable.
