Been going here for over 1.5 yrs, great service, great cuts, great set of Barbers ! Thanks Tu for keeping me fresh!

Found this place about a month ago. Awesome barbershop. Entire staff is super cool. Place is chill, clean, and comfy.
I like that they are by appointment only and you get seen on time. My old shop was walk-​jns only and I hated having to wait hours for it to be my turn. My life is busy and I don’t have time to lose my day to waiting for something I shouldn’t have to.
My barber is Bryan. I have been to him a couple times so far. Love this dude. My cut is fresh and on point. He has a loyal customer in me. However, I will say that just watching all the other cuts walking out, I don’t think there is a bad barber in the joint.
They have tvs, radio, and cool ambience. Barber chairs are vintage style, comfy. A/​C keeps in a great temp. There is an ATM inside, of course, this means no credit cards. I do wish they had that option. Sometimes grabbing cash on your way is a pain and who wants to pay an AtM fee??? But if the «no credit card» thing is the only down side then I can live with that.
Joint has street parking, if available, out front. There is plenty of spaces in rear of building. If you ride a bike, there are spots close to building, even in the rear. There is no way you can’t find a spot.
I definitely recommend this place. Even if you love where you go now, give them one cut. I think you might re-​think your old spot and start going here more often.

Waited 20mins and then was told they were too book to cut my hair, bad service and the guys that work there are very stand off ish and unwelcoming

I’m not going to sit here and say that they don’t do great hair. If you want a solid cut, you can’t go wrong here, but $ 25 for a haircut is pushing it. I first started going in 2014 when cuts were $ 18; in two years the price has increase 39% with an unchanged product to accompany it. 39% is steep, & what’s to stop it from eventually reaching $ 30? Personally, there are way too many barbershops in Riverside to justify my continued business here. I just got my haircut the other day & it looked just as good as it does at RSC. Ultimately, a smart consumer should recognize a cost increase with no additional benefit & call that increase into question.
My only other gripe is the shaky customer service. Show up a minute past the grace period? Lose your spot. That’s fine; I wouldn’t have an issue with that if it wasn’t for the fact that I’ve been there numerous times on time & had to wait anywhere from 5 – 15 minutes for the seat to be open. It’s called building good rapport with your clientele. If you’re going to hold your customer to that standard, then you need to hold yourself to that standard as well.
EDIT: I’ve just been informed that it’s actually $ 30 now. Personally I think you gotta be crazy to pay that for a hair cut. And for my non math majors out there that’s a 67% price increase in two years. Might as well go to a salon if you’re gonna pay that.

Best place in Riverside to get your hair done. I wanted a new look and started going here. It doesn’t really matter which seat you sit in you get a bad ass hair style. Jake especially hooked it up phat for my wedding day and made me look super fly. I recommend this place to anyone. The place not only does great work but has a great atmosphere everyone is super friendly and down to earth. Great place.

Use to be 5 star rating. Don’t get me wrong, I get an Awesome cut from Tyler. BUT this place has raised their prices to $ 25 for a regular hair cut!!! And nothing is different from before. No wash, no massage, no drink. I can see they remodeled a little so I guess they are passing the cost onto the customers or being greedy. SMH bad business model to raise prices with no added services.

I highly Riverside Shave Co. As someone who hardly gets their haircut professional, this barbershop was fast, friendly, and professional. If you can, definitely ask for Roger as he gave me a very clean cut and shave. 5 stars plus!

Cool Atmosphere, super friendly staff and they gave a great cut. I got my cut from the owner and he was great to talk to very attentive and did exactly what I asked. I’ll be back for sure!

Yooooo, shave co. is the spot! Tyler is the man and always hooks it up w a fresh ass fade and keeps my beard tight. Def make an appointment though or you’ll end up like I just did having to settle on an inferior cut and just staring at yourself in the mirror wondering how you could let someone do this to you after you’ve been on point for so long. Tyler you the man dawg can’t wait to get back in there so you can fix this travesty!

Brian is awesome always patient with me even when I requested a difficult cut. Other barbers wouldn’t touch. Brian is my barber for life!

Fake review? I find it very unprofessional and tacky that you would call my review fake. Worst experience I’ve experienced when it comes to customer service. I work in customer service and I know that the customers are the reason that business run. Pretty sad that you have to try to mop up your bad practices by calling out a customer who left a Unilocal review to try to clear up your name shame on you

Jake brings me back to life every time. $ 20 is a steal for the time and genuine effort these dudes put into each hair cut. And I definitely appreciate the great vibe of all the staff, very welcoming and friendly.

First time coming here. I got my hair cut with Brian today and it turned out great. Highly recommend this shop. Haircuts are $ 20 bucks and they really take their time to make sure it’s perfect. Will be coming back for sure. Thanks Brian

A select number of men are meant to have majestic as fuck, awe inspiring beards — the rest are the ladies, the children and the beardedly challenged men. After bouncing around several other riverside/​corona area barber shops for the last few years i finally got sick of them completely butchering my beard, annihilating months of growth with their shears. THEN I FOUND JAKE — this man is an artist in every sense of the word, and he takes the ultimate pride in his cuts (both hair and beard) to insure not a single hair is out of place when he’s done. He looks at my beard like Mr. motherfuckingmiagi looks at a bonzai tree — but cuts with more finesse.
As long as this guy is cutting hair — and is located here at RSC, no one else will ever trim my beard. period.
