Been going to Keyes for 20 years now. I’ve recently moved out to the LA area but I won’t let anyone else touch my hair. Dave does a fantastic job on all kinds of hair styles and is very easy to talk to. If you’re looking for someone to cut your hair professionally for a fair price and have some good conversation as well, this is the place to go!

My son had his first experience at Keyes Mane Design on Sunday, March 29, 2015. Great attention to detail David! Thank you! We were both very impressed. Professional and clean establishment. Staff is friend with good humor. Great prices! Will be coming back again.

Friendly and personable people, family run, takes credit cards! I always have Nancy cut my hair, they also have a very cute puppy!

I really wanted this barbershop to work out for me. The staff was friendly, but the skill for cutting hair was not there. And now, on to the review:
1. Location – within a small plaza on the corner of Magnolia and Van Buren.
2. Payment type/​cost – paid with cash. $ 16
3. Staff – there was one middle aged female and very friendly. The atmosphere was very laid back and nobody was waiting in line.
4. Quality of Fade – the barber that cut my hair butchered it. She offered to try and fix it up, but after judging the haircut that was already performed, I told her no. I ended up going home and trying to fix what she screwed up.
Overall – I am disappointed. Not only is this barbershop too expensive, but I would not go here again for a hair cut. If you want quality, walk next door to Riverside Shave because you will have a better cut for the same price. I felt like I basically just paid someone to screw up my hair.

Cindy did a Japanese Straightening Treatment on my hair yesterday afternoon. My hair is silky, gorgeous, shiny, soft and just fantastic! This treatment could last as long as a year on my hair. I have had the Brazilian and Keratin treatments in the past and liked them, but I am optimistic that this will last a really long time. That beautician knows her business!

I’ve been coming here since I was a freshman in high school and ten years later they still perform the same high quality service at a great price. The witty barber shop banter is always entertaining as well. If you’re looking for a great barber shop, come to this one!

Been coming here for years. Amazing work, great prices, fantastic people. All of them do excellent styling but I’m partial to Cindy. A family owned business and a very clean and relaxing atmosphere. You couldn’t get me to try any where else in Riverside. Try it once and you will know what I mean.

Recently got a hair cut here that seemed simple enough. #5 all the way around and keep side burns. Not only did the old man there cut it with a #2 telling me it was a 5 he «accidentally» cut my ear. I walked out without paying and had to have another barer fix my hair.
He’s old so it was probably due to his shaky hands. If your haircut requires steady hands don’t come here. Better barbers in the area.
Needless to day I wount be coming back

It’s like going to good friends who KNOW you very well, and want to make you look and feel GREAT, and want you to return. The friendly atmosphere of a small-​town barbershop combines with well-​trained nationally-​trained hairstylists in a very unique family setting. Shoutout to Cindy who does marvelous work with her quick wit and insightful eye as to how best to arrange hair!
Note:Cindy was way ahead of the ‘feathers’ trend, still provides the highest-​quality hair ornaments and stands by her work with affordable prices. It’s ridiculous to brag about going to some big-​name fancy salon when great style, fun, upbeat attitude, edgy fashion with old-​fashioned personal service is so easily accessible!
