I can’t complain! The food is amazing! & I’m glad it is so close to my house! Not even 5 minutes away. I love the menu & the drinks are perfect!!! Specially the bar. Amazing people, no drama & good music. Pepitos rocks!!!

Love this place! They always have the freshest food. My favorite is the Carne Asada plate. Hands down best steak in riverside!

I went to lunch at pepitos today because of the waitress in the bar, Miss Amber she was amazing… I will be back. She was Fast, friendly very professional and cute as hell and her little was a little cold in the bar area.

Overall service and food were good but the nice waitress while we were eating our clips and salsa ask if we want guacamole too. We said sure since she offered and when we get the check she charged us $ 6!!! And I asked for my carne asada medium well and it was very blooding. The reason for the low stars is mainly her charging us for guacamole we she offered it to us and didn’t mention it was extra. Not cool.

Just want to say how disappointed I was in the new slow cooked style they make there carne asada. It came out tasting like lengua. They used to have the best asada. Now it’s no Bueno. But I still love the place overall in riverside. But i miss your previous style of tacos.

I love their Carne asada plate with chimichurri, it is to die for. This is also an awesome place to go for appetizers and drinks. Get the mega margaritas for sure, my fave is strawberry. My hubs tried their Chile Verde and thought it was pretty good. If in case it is a drinks and appetizers kind of visit, try pepito’s botana. It’s a sampler of some of their most tasty Mexican food staples. We have been there twice to dine and have ordered carry out twice and have never been disappointed. The customer service is always awesome, we’ve been blessed with having Miguel both visits and he is wonderful. He kept us laughing and smiling the whole time.

Don’t taste authentic at all. Went a few times and ordered something new every time hopping it would be better but nope!

I thought I’d try this place again, but for dinner this time. The service was great and the food was better than when I’ve been for lunch. The albondigas was definitely as memorable as the last time I had it. Our server was personable, efficient, friendly and attentive. I will try this place again

The price of what we thought was lunch — was OUTRAGEOUS. We order a appetizer(Botana $ 14.99). The beans were cold, the platter was okay. We informed the server that the beans were cold and she informed the kitchen staff. I had a Torta w/room temperature french fries $ 9.79, my hunny had the lunch chile colorado — his rice & beans were cold $ 6.79(lunch portion). This was a totally overpriced meal $ 50.58, no compensation for cold food was ever made. How is it a glass of wine and a beer were cheaper than a sandwich? We were so disappointed by the price of the food, won’t be returning.

Went there for the 1st time for margaritas. Was denied at the bar by Lafonda or whatever her name was. She said the bar was closed in a very NASTY way, because there was a party… If your closed… Have some type of notice to let patrons know. I came all the way from Anaheim with my friends, whom recommended this place. So disappointed…

I went for happy hour on Friday and I had a great time! Loved the drink specials, wish they had more of them other than margaritas. My server, Lupita, was very attentive. Great service and great food. You can never go wrong.

Went to lunch with my 5 brothers to celebrate a birthday yesterday and Pepitos was our destination. Although a long time patron and a fan of both predecessors, El Gato Gordo and Don Pedro’s(both on University Ave. back in the day), the food continues to exceed expectations! Rosy was our server and handled the table of various requests and late arrivers with ease and comfort. We ordered everything from the taco specials(fish, carne asada, chicken), to Chile Verde burritos and chicken nachos. All were delicious! Rosy even came out with a birthday Sunday for my brother along with an oversized sombrero for him to pose for pictures. Still one of the best values in all the Inland Empire, we will return soon!

Stopped by this great place for a quick lunch and it turned into an hour of good food and conversation. Rosy was pleasant and extremely helpful at our table. I ordered«Carne asada con huevos» and the portion was well done and delicious. I would recommend this lovely place and I will be returning for the Margaritas!

We were greeted as soon as we walked in the staff was very friendly and very Mexican I don’t think this is a place Donald Trump would visit! The fish taco plate tasted like home cooking The chile verde was tender and full of flavor I would pass on the chimichurri fries… Not a fan Overall loved this place and will definitely come back!

First experience here was amazing. Of course my significant other and I came on a slow day so we had all the attention. PARKING Park in the rear. If you dont mind walking park in Big 5 Sporting goods parking lot. If its After five u are allowed to park in Kuma and Tire Wheel parking lot. Which is in the corner of central. SERVICE We walked in from the back which is where the parking is. We waited by the side and a man came up and seated us. Gave us menus and offered drinks. Then we ordered. I ordered the shrimp fajita. My significant other ordered the two enchiladas. FOOD It was amazing. My shrimp fajitas were tasty and came with a seperate plate of beans, rice, white crème, avovado, and salsa. I rejected the tortillas. My significant other loved the enchiladas because it was cheesy and had the right amount of spices. GREATEXPERIENCE For both plates, plus drinks I payed 40 flat. They also have a bar on the other side. They play live music and it looks like a lot of fun. Dont forget to tip. Ill be coming back for sure.

Parking here sucks… I’m not sure where this many people are in this awkwardly-positioned…strip mall?(What constitutes a strip mall anyway?) Um, where’s the front door!!! We stood at the door we entered(from the Magnolia side) for a couple minutes, then thought, maybe we were suppose to go to the other door(from the Brockton side)…but still no help.(Random tangent… is it wrong that I judge a Mexican restaurant, by how many Mexicans I see eating there???) We just went to the man at the register and asked if we seat ourselves and he was like«no.» So as we stood there all out of place and just when I started to roll my eyes and leave… a nice lady finally comes to seat us. I was slightly disappointed that in our quest for a parking spot that wouldn’t give us a near-death experience when leaving, and the delay in figuring out where the hell to stand so we could be seated, we missed happy hour! And that was kind of the whole reason for our visit… not for the drinks but for the 5 or 6 appetizers that are half-off. Since I take my title as the junk food junkie a little too seriously, we got the $ 15 chicken nachos anyway… also a seafood taco salad and tacos. The food was better than the dated décor implies. The taco salad had large pieces of shrimp(16⁄20) and octopus.(Kind of unsure when she told me that was coming, but it was really juicy and a good change from the imitation stuff places try to say is seafood.) The nachos were a good portion, but I wouldn’t pay for them unless it’s happy hour.
