The food was exactly what I expected from an IHOP and the servers were attentive and friendly. The wait on a Saturday morning to be seated was 15 minutes.

This has nothing to do with the food, the it’s self was good. This is the second time I come here, the first time I came with my family the service was whatever, didn’t really know who was our waitress. This second time around the service was even worse before I can even get half way done with my plate they had brought the check with even asking if we needed anything else. By the way two of us had all you can eat pancakes never did they ask if we would like more pancakes. Our waitress Alma was just terrible. She paid attention so much to her family in the next table that she never had time for the other tables. I live in Riverside but hate to say I’m gonna have to go the IHOP in San Bernardino from now on.

Food is standard ihop food but their service here is the worst! They rush you when ordering and show exasperation if you have questions. Our waitress took our order for drinks and said she’d be right back while walking away, did not even ask if we were ready to order! I had to tell her we were & she rolled her eyes! Then the other waitress couldn’t even put my dads plate in front of him, I had to push it to an appropriate spot. she walked away as my dad was asking a question! Never coming back strictly based off the customer service!

Inland Empire
Not very happy with my dining experience today. Both slices of turkey bacon were burnt and my hash browns were under cooked. I only ate two bites of the cinnamon brioche French toast because it was bland and very dry. Someone in my party ordered the sirloin tips and said they were oddly sweet. He also said his pancakes were dry. We were not assigned one waitress as they work as a team. Service was okay.

The food is like any other IHOP. It’s the customer service that is lacking. The only waitress I like there is the blonde one who often wears a flower in her hair. She is the ONLY waitress that cares about her customers. The other waitress do not even wait on you. I remember I approached the blonde with a tip one day and said you keep this no one else helped us; she then stated to me I am sorry but I have to split it we work in teams. I am sorry but if you are the only one WORKING then take the money you deserve. They seriously need to step up their customer service.

Terrible service. RUDE waitress. Asked for an extra piece of French toast for my son who was still hungry and they REFUSED! Called the manager to complain and she kept saying we stick to our menu, we stick to our menu. Ok in that case I will take my business elsewhere.

Don’t let the single star confuse you! Service sucks! Flagged down what appeared to be a server for drink orders. Once she arrived with the drinks we gave our food order. Food arrives at our table cold. Did my husband and I complain? No, because 3 other families were having issues as well! We did speak to the manager and she apologized and said she didn’t know why her serving team was not working together. Hmm and as manager is she not supposed to know everything that is going on?! I love my IHOP pancakes but I think I will go to a new location. This isn’t an isolated incident, this manager has had complaints about poor service to my knowledge for the past 6 months from my family alone. Its a shame really, they seem like a happy group but suck at service. Happy Saturday everyone!

So I wi write this as I go. I was greeted when I first walked in. I was sat down to the left side of the restaurant. My waitress was unpleasant. No smile no personality. Just, here’s your menus, what do you want to order type attitude. I want a waitress to smile and make it pleasant for me to eat here. After I ordered I asked her to come back in a few minutes because I wanted to order more food (I needed more protein). She never came back. She wouldn’t even look at my table. As of right now I’m angry that I she hasn’t come back to my table since she’s taken my order. Ok, when she brought my food out I reordered more food. I tried to be friendly but still no smile. Anyway, the food was decent. Not a big fan of ihop. The place is clean and most employees are pretty chipper. Guess I was the lucky one. IHOP TEACH YOUR EMPLOYEES TO BE CHEERY!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Took my family there and it took 15 min to get sat. The tables were filthy as in sticky with syrup and water stains. Oh, it gets «better» it took 5 – 8 minutes for someone to come to the table. Just so happened it was the manager. Took our drink orders and requested for table to be wiped down and off he went. A few minutes later, our waitress shows up and takes our order, again I request for tables to be wiped. Finally someone shows up to clean up. Service improves until we left. My wife takes my daughter to the bathroom and as we leave, she tells me our waitress waked out from the bathroom stalls, said hi and left for the floor without washing her hands. Eeeeweee! I called the manger immediately to notify him. Last time I go there.

My family had lunch here after our church service. We had 3 children and 4 adults. The place was busy. We had to wait for tables. Then the greeter asked if we want to be seated outside. We asked about the heater and he said it is on. We sat outside and the heater was broken (only one was working). The weather was too cold for the children. So we got reseated right away to the inside. Good food. Good service. I think somewhat under-​staffed.

Have you ever heard of «bad service with a smile?» That’s this IHOP. They smile and say… «OH, I am sorry your food sucked, Have a nice day». «OH, I am sorry your service sucked, have a nice day.»
After a three day fast I was finally looking forward to some pumpkin pancakes and a omelette. After an average wait I received my omelette BUT no pancakes. 15 minutes then here comes the pancakes (no butter) 15 minutes for butter (cold pancakes). Which equals cold nasty pancakes that were not edible. Horrible omelette (how can you mess up a omelette when you are known for breakfast food?)
The staff seemed okay with the bad service and nasty food with a smile. I’ll never waste my money there again. I would recommend Brandon’s on Sunnymead to anyone looking for GOOD food AND good service. Don’t eat here! Run don’t walk to Brandon’s for breakfast.
IHOP has really gone downhill. Of course they do it with smile.

I know this is just a corporate America kind of diner… so not expecting 5star service… but this morning we made a to-​go order of raspberry pancakes and harvest grain pancaked. got home. .and they didn’t even give us syrup… then when we went back she gave us attitude for wanting syrup. .she says «well the raspberry pancakes already has a lot of stuff on it»…like ummmm… who gives her the right how we want to eat our pancakes! It’s a pancake house.. we ordered pancakes. .like come on! There should be syrup with our order no matter what kind you order! So I guess just ask and make sure before you get all the way home and find nothing! Disappointing breakfast! Not to mention I eat pancakes about once a yr for a treat! Ruined!

Do not come here for dinner. Service absolutely sucks. Me and a group of friend were waiting to be seated for a good 15 minutes before we decided to go to Denny’s. WE WERE THE ONLY CUSTOMERS. I’m surprised they don’t get robbed more often because absolutely nobody was watching the front. In fact, there were no employees to be seen and even after calling for some service no one came. RIDICULOUS.

Only reason this IHOP gets a 3 star rating is cause the staff is awesome. Always so helpful, courteous, and attentive. That’s really the only good thing about it unfortunately. Food is terrible and portions are small when it comes to anything other than pancakes. You want a good, cheap, tasty breakfast that will fill you up, don’t come here. Quality is subpar, you are better off making the drive to Norms.

Waited one hour for our order of eggs and toast to come out. The manager herself took out order and instead of apologizing she blamed the other workers and waitresses for the delay.
I am sorry but this kind of immature behavior is not necessary at any type of food establishment. You do not air your dirty laundry with your coworkers out to customers. I just wanted breakfast… not some kind of weird Jerry Springer episode where I dont get my eggs and have to listen to other people’s nonsensical issues.

The problem I have with this Ihop is it is inconsistent. Sometime you get a great meal, other times it is below avg. Now that the have breakfast all day I usually get the same thing every time I go. Getting cold food that is suppose to be warm happens alot. But The staff is very friendly and helpful. Never have we someone be rude to us. Just your average chain diner here
