Horrible service from Vanessa this morning. Inattentive and mediocre at best. Overpriced quiche was as bland and disappointing as Vanessa’s service. Won’t be returning. Ever.

Great place to eat bring the family, you will have a great time food is great !!! Now they have breakfast try it you will like Mimi’s

20 minutes to get the food was okay. Finding out it was not what I ordered was not okay. Since the waitress didn’t come by for 15 minutes, I ate what they gave me. She did comp us a couple of muffins for the mix-up…but blamed it on someone else. It was clearly her fault, having grabbed the wrong plate. Then, when it came time to leave… the waitress is nowhere to be found… for 15 minutes we sit, waiting for her to take the payment. Never showed up. We went to front of the place. We were told only she could help us. She saw us, even acknowledged us… then walked right by us. Manager never showed his face. We had been to this Mimi’s at least 100 times in the past 10 years. Never had a complaint. This was as bad as it gets.
The mushroom omelet they gave me (instead of the andouille omelet I ordered) was very bland to top it all off.

We had a horrible experience. For religion and health reasons I do not eat pork. I also I’m gluten free. I ordered eggs benedict with potato as the muffin. I stressed to our waitress that I cannot eat pork twice and to the server that brought my wife and niece their food. As I started eating it I found that there was small bacon strips in the sauce. I also had to send back the potatoes. They were not cooked as a order them. I have eaten the gluten-​free Eggs Benedict before. They even assured me that no pork is used and there’s an option of using turkey sausage instead. Once I can understand a mistake but I emphasized it 4 times in total. I am at fault in there I didn’t check it out when I was served. I generally do. I eat at Cocos regularly in Moreno Valley and never have had this problem. I will give it this mean is a one star. The waitress was very nice but she did not write down my order correctly causing me to be very upset and compromised.

I was looking forward to a nice cocktail and dinner in the bar and could not get any service. Even after I went over to the hostess and asked for some service, she promised to send someone over and they still didn’t come. I finally left. Not good. I am now at Applebee’s. Not as good but at least I have a bartender with a happy face serving me.

Every time I come here I expect something better and sadly it never happens. Came here on a Sunday morning and didn’t have to wait too long for a table but ordered some spirits from the bar anyway. The mimosas and bloody Mary’s are excellent, the food and service not so much. Our waiter was horrible, never checked in on us and passed empty cups needing refills multiple times. The food wasn’t hot at all. Luckily the mimosas and bloody Mary’s were so good that it absolutely overshadowed how horrible everything else was.
If I never come back here I wouldn’t be upset. Rather, if I do it’ll just be for the alcohol; seems like it’s the only thing they can get right.

Do not bother going for lunch unless you have a LOT of time. We tried 2 days in a row, and they admittedly did not staff an entire section of the restaurant. Went next door to Applebee’s and had a great experience! Will post there next.

It’s my second day in a row where not only me but other patrons leave at lunch due to a long wait. I have a 1.5 hour lunch break and can’t wait 30 minutes to be seated. They have a bunch of open tables and people standing around. Gave them 2 tries not going to waste another trip for a third try.
Your guys should staff up for lunch, the demand is there.

I ordered their steak au poivre and I agree with a previous review, the quality of the meat was not good. It was overcooked well beyond the medium cook I ordered, and it didn’t really taste like a steak. It was mainly flavorless. I was able to get full by eating it and some of the not very good au graten potatoes that came with the steak, but I can get a much better cut of meat at Albertson’s. A quiche lorraine ordered was seriously lacking in bacon and quite dry. We also ordered the chicken crepes and they were just okay.
On the plus side, I did enjoy my cup of French Onion soup, and the muffin was not bad. The service was also really good, but overall, the only thing I would ever want again was the soup, and I can’t imagine going somewhere just to have soup, so I think I’m done with Mimi’s for now.

I have been to different Mimi’s locations and the food is great at every location thus far, but this review isn’t for their excellent food, but for the sweetest, hepful waitress at the this location, Jasmine. She is definitely a gem! Excellent customer service, radiant smile, and positive attitude. She was absolutely one of the most helpful servers I have ever had. Mimi’s food will always be acceptionable, but if you ever have Jasmine as your waitress, be sure to tip her well, she is a peach!

Disappointed. I came with my son on a Sunday morning they were super crowded. We decided to sit at the bar it took me asking 4 different employees and 20minutes to clean the table so we could sit. Then we sat another 15min waiting for a menu which we never got so we had to get up and grab it ourselves. It took forever to get our food which was another disappointment. My waffle was uncook. I dont think I will come back here again

Disappointing. Food was mediocre at best. Service is need of improvement. Friendliness is it’s only redeeming quality,
Ordered calamari for the table.
Mom got Chicken with Guacamole sandwich with shoestring onions, and corn chowder.
I got the mushroom and Brie burger with fries, and French onion soup
Calamari tasted like frozen calamari from the grocery store. The chicken sandwich was oddly greasy and cold despite having melted cheese. The burger is more of a patty melt. Overcooked, under salted, the mushroomed were cute in quarters instead of sliced so continued to all out as I tried to eat, and they left off the white outer part of type Brie that should be removed when melting it for sandwich.
Soups were okay, nothing you couldn’t get at a grocery store deli.
Service was friendly, but forgetful. Lots of repeating and having things not delivered.

My family gathered this morning to enjoy a nice meal and we weren’t disappointed. We were a group of sixteen which usually makes it a challenge for waiters, not here, not for Kyle out server. He was very genuine and attentive to all of us. Our drinks and meals were right and arrived in a timely manner. The food was delicious and warm and fresh. I also noticed that other servers and greeters had the same positive attitude, working together as a team to meet all the customers expectations! Thanks Kyle and team!

Came in for breakfast, and we were seated pretty quickly and our waiter was really friendly. As for the food, everything was really good. I got the steak and eggs and everything came out perfect! I have absolutely no complaints about this place

Came here after work for breakfast. Me and my hubby loves egg benedict and this place had so many different kind of it lol. It was our first time coming here. I ordered smoked salmom benedict and my husband ordered corned beed benedict. They were delicious. Made me wonder why we never went here this whole time!

We waited for about 10 minutes after sitting down to get coffee. The waitress came to the table to take the order and to deliver the bill. Other staff waited on us and we’re very helpful.
The food was obsoletely great.

Let me begin by saying I had a coupon that came in the mail today so I was going to try it out. Upon arrival at Mimi’s the parking lot was filled? To my amazement it was empty everybody was at Applebee’s! I was seated and that was the only time I saw anybody? I waited and waited approx 10 – 12 minutes and nobody came. But a server walked by didn’t say a word (maybe I have super powers and become invisible) So I got up and left and walked over to Applebee’s next door it was filled! Applebee’s was great had the pulled brisket burger with unlimited fries, it was amazing! My next choice is Applebee’s it was good the service is great and Mimi’s I I don’t think I’ll be patronizing youanytime soon.

Horrible customer service. The server ignored our table the whole time we had breakfast. My husband had to get up several times because I asked for napkins, ketchup and he said he would bring them but never did. We went on a wednesday morning and it was not busy at all, I don’t know why it took so long for our food to come out. The restroom stalls were all out of paper. I don’t think I will be returning. It’s a shame because I used to really like this restaurant.

Horrible horrible service
Arrived at 11:45 waited just under 15 minutes to be seated –2 ahead of us –several went into bar, sat at tables and ordered.
Seated — got drinks after 8 minutes — ordered HAMBURGERS at the time the drinks were delivered.
At 35 minutes –still no food – couple at adjoining table said they had been there easily 10 minutes longer than us –no food
Grabbed a busboy — asked for manager – waited 5 minutes — she informed us «there are other orders ahead of you !» No apologies –nothing !
At 45 minutes and no food –we got up and left! The couple at the opposite table STILL had no food-​they were close to an hour of wait time
We stood and told them -«we’re leaving» they responded «so are we» !!

I wish they spent as much time on the food as they do on the décor. Mimi’s is always a disappointment for me. Moreno Valley is about an hour from our home. This visit came about because we made plans to join another couple for breakfast.
The exterior of the building is beautiful. When we arrived, the restaurant was pretty empty, so we were seated right away. Inside, the décor and menu is Louisiana-​French style. By the time we finished, the restaurant was packed with hungry guests who were just arriving. Our timing was good.
I ordered the bacon avocado omelet ($ 9.99). It came with Jack cheese, lots of spinach (yeah!) and topped with fresh slices of tomatoes, avocado and bacon. I skipped the potatoes and they gave me a cup of mixed fresh fruit instead. The omelet was good.
No muffin for me, but one for my husband. He was disappointed because his blueberry muffin was stale. He ordered the same thing I did, but he had the full meal with potatoes.
Our guests ordered the open-​faced egg white & veggie omelet ($ 8.29). This, too, came with mixed fresh fruit instead of potatoes. The fourth entrée was strawberries & crème waffles ($ 10.29), which came with eggs, fruit and bacon.
The food was fine, but nothing, including the service, stood out as being great. Just OK.
