Been here since november 2015(about three months). I am a mix between the other two previous reviews on this place. Cons: The place is old and sound travels easily, and the apartments can be creaky. The clientele is a mix of college kids and families(they both can be loud, but hey, ya run that risk with anywhere so close to the colleges and it being a tight complex and all). Parking is assigned with a single unit getting a single spot. There are unassigned parking spots but it just sucks with us being a married couple with two cars. The place is fairly open to the public. There are random security patrols but there are no gates, so cars feel exposed at night. Pros: Large spaces. My unit has upgraded appliances and ceiling fan(which was a huge step up from our previous place, whose appliances were over 30yrs old). Being on the second floor, and their being windows in the front and back of the apartment gives a great cross breeze. While neighbors can be loud, I have not had any real complaints. All parties have dispersed at reasonable hours and other tenants are generally nice enough. The place is right across from the shopping with great places to eat and grocery store. Love it over there. oh and no pet fee! That’s a huge perk. :)

I love my apartment. It’s clean, I feel safe, and I love the location. If you’re looking for an apartment in Canyon Crest you should definitely hit this place up first. It’s affordable and it’s in a great location. I seriously love that I am just across the street from the grocery store and lots of restaurants.

Location = great Rent = used to be lower for area but rent has increased twice Units = LOUD& old Neighbors = a mix of loud college kids, loud 3am gamers, loud families with loud kids who have nowhere to play, and others that tend to be inconsiderate, unaware — and you guessed it — LOUD. Management = generally unresponsive and unsympathetic to complaints. Ownership spends way too much on curb appeal while the units have old single pane windows that let out all your a/c & heat. They also apparently have no idea that having people doing loud maintenance and construction projects at 7am goes against the goal of having a place to SLEEP. Isn’t that what this place is about?! You know, a place to LIVE?! Why they can’t have these types of things scheduled for a reasonable time, e.g. noon or at least 11am, is beyond me. They regularly ask a LOT of tenants, including being alright with shutting off water regularly for HOURS at a time, and again at inconvenient times. Morning, when everyone is getting ready for work?! Not cool. They’re not very considerate & they hop on the defensive with any request you make of them, often in a contradictory manner, e.g. «Tell us right away when this happens» «We can’t do anything about that!»
