Castle Harbor Drive-In

This place reminds me of being at the shore. Good food. Nice people. Love the ice cream. My boat’s in Clark’s Landing marina, and when I’m there I always stop in for a bite to eat or a late night ice cream snack.

Ive come here a few times and I have to say I like it. It is a cool little breakfast place to come and grab a bite with some awesome ice cream in the summer time. The breakfast was good not super amazing and not something I would yell from the rooftops but it was a pretty good and somewhere you should check out if you want a traditional hometown breakfast place where you can meet nice interesting people and have some food. Recipe for a good day.

Very good frozen delights! Whether you want a malted milkshake, a sundae with all sorts of toppings or a simple soft serve vanilla ice cream, they have it and they’re all good. You can enjoy your ice cream inside their diner style eating area or outside where you can walk around the harbor and see all sorts of boats by the dock.

Still the best frozen custard around, even after all these years. I don’t know what makes it so smooth and rich, but Holiday and Mister Softee just can’t compare.

I come here once or twice a week, usually between 2 and 4pm, because it’s the best lunch on one of my routes. The prices are affordable, and the meals come quickly.
This spot has its fair share of regulars, and it seems like it’s a staple diner for generations growing up in Burlington County. I see grandmothers, parents, and their children here on a fairly regular basis.
A huge perk is the walk-​up window they have for ice cream. It allows that face time of ordering with a genuine smiling face rather than the impersonal monitor that beckons «May I take your order?»
If you see a mailman sitting at the bar dreaming in the clouds, pull up beside him and smile. That’s me!

Hey Unilocal this place is in delran on river rd. not st. mihiel drive in riverside you might wanna change that. Anyway the food here is great I’ve been coming here every summer since I was a little kid. Great ice cream, great burgers, delicious fries, and fast and friendly service. Surprised this place isnt more well known

The Harbor is a staple of my childhood– I can remember many summer nights where my family would make the trek down to get our soft serve ice cream. The prices are as cheap as ever and the portions are still very generous (a small is far more than enough for me).
Although the marina is no longer open to non-​members (as it was when I was younger), Castle Harbor still has a spacious back patio for patrons to sit near the boats, if not on the water.
Note: Even though the hours for the inside are technically until 8 PM, if it’s a crowded night, the ice cream window stays open until around 10 PM.
Note 2: Cash-​only, people.

Ive been coming here since I was a kid. Gotta be 25 years. The ice cream is just like I remember it. The food is really good and reasonably priced. Its a great place to start the day for breakfast or end the day with some ice cream. The atmosphere is great for kids and adults. Staff is friendly.

This is the BEST sandwich and ice cream shop I have ever gone to. They are right next to Clarks Landing Marina in Delran. Of course all of the boaters that have their boats there can be found in the restaurant more then once a day.
Their breakfasts are very popular and filling. I particularly love their lunches. Sometimes when the boating season begins I and my friends will eat their 5 – 7 days a week. Their hoagies, sandwiches and salads are delicious. They have the freshest meats and cheeses and are also priced very fairly. You can get an American or Italian hoagie for around $ 4.00. The owner Jimmy is there almost every day and every hour supervising his staff and making sure that all the customers are satisfied. When you see a lot of the same people day after day, you know the food is good and everyone there has a good time.
If you like frozen custard, and who doesn’t, you will be there often. They have sundaes, banana splits, cones, cups and lots of toppings. Also, they make their own pies, brownies, tapioca pudding, bread pudding, homemade soups, potato salad, macaroni salad plus lots of other goodies.
They were closed for January which is their winter vacation but just reopened today for business as usual.
A great place to hang with your friends and enjoy fresh food at very fair prices.

What a little gem ! This place is perfect for that Sandwich & Ice cream adventure.
Enjoy a CheeseSteak, fries, A large «Boost» and finish it off with a cone of soft
serve…yummy! They also have a excellent breakfast menu, not pricey but tasty.

I’ve only been here for ice cream, but it’s just not summer until we stop at Castle Harbor.
It’s simple flavors and quality ingredients. I either go with the hot fudge soft serve sundae or a crushed cherry soft serve sundae. It’s not too complex, nothing fancy. It’s just exactly what you want on a summer night when thinking too hard isn’t an option.
*Tip* It’s cash only! Don’t show up and get tortured by hot fudge deliciousness only to go home empty handed

Place is great for a quick bite to eat or to grab some ice cream. The service is great and the food is awesome. Awesome in the summer to go down by the water and see the boats.

It’s always a sign of spring when first castle reopens after being closed for the month of January and most of February. Second is when they start selling ice cream again. My wife and were excited when we went last night to the castle and was to have dinner and dessert. Great food great prices and great help. If you are ever driving by stop in and tell Jimmy that Roger sent you!

I’ve lived in palmyra for 3 years and would drive to get a bite to eat. Their prices are cheep and food is hot and fresh.
