Special place for us!!! Spanish foods remind my wife of her native Filipino food. Check Unilocal and Groupon and/or come for happy hour for great deals! Otherwise it’s not cheap… U get what you pay for.

The Drinks here are watered down… Um Im coo with a beer but I don’t recommend getting anything mixed unless you feel like you want the mixer more than the alcohol. The service here is wack. its close to home thats the only plus.

Place looks cool. Tapas= Appetizers. I suggest for happy hour instead. Food tasted fine. Waiters tend to be pretty slow. And the drinks after the first one may come back light on the alcohol. So look out for that.

Good food, great service from Elizabeth. Went here with a few friends and it was a great place to drink, eat and chat. I love the ambiance, and it was great sitting up on the balcony and looking out on the restaurant.

My husband and I had heard that the brunch at Sevilla’s was worth taking a look at, so we decided to check it out. Maybe it was our mistake to go on Valentine’s Day, but if a place can’t handle a holiday, they really shouldn’t be promoting for it either. We arrived around 1pm, after the brunch crunch. The restaurant had already emptied out, so we were seated quickly. The hostess was obviously tired and over it, but since we didn’t wait long, we weren’t subjected to her foul mood enough to care(initially). The morning manager was making her rounds at each table, greeting customers and making small talk. She came around to literally everyone but us. She stopped twice at the table to our left and behind us. Not once did she even bat an eye our way. Seriously? I can’t even pick what to attribute that to: our age(some of the youngest present) or our ethnicity(ironic, since it’s a Spanish restaurant and I’m Hispanic). On our way out, we walked past the manager –nothing from her again– and I also happened to make eye contact with the hostess. Nothing. No «thank you for coming», «have a nice day», «bye». Such unpleasant service. The food was good in variety but dried out and/or cold. My only real positive experience that morning was with the crêpe server; he was very polite and friendly. Everyone else seemed to hate life. I’m usually empathetic, but not when we’re throwing away $ 70 on a very mediocre experience. Won’t be visiting Sevilla again.

This place is my new favorite restaurant. Set up like a tapas bar, you order a la cart from a vast array of Spanish favorites. Sample platter for free just for checking in on Unilocal. It had the stuffed bacon wrapped dates and they were to die for. There were also some potatoes and a white fish ceviche that was amazing. For dinner we got the salchichas sausages and I swear I heard angel voices they were so good. We also ordered the scallops which were tender and flavorful. We ordered the flatbread with vegetables and were surprised at how delicious it was. We finished off the meal with crema catalana, a velvety coffee flavored custard with a brûlée style crust. Oh my Godiva! Good happy hour deals. Unilocal deal got us a wonderful discount too! Great service. Friendly staff. Awesome place for a cozy date or a party with friends. Definitely recommend.

My first time there and I have to say it was great. The Taps we had were great and the red classic sangria was awesome. Our waiter was very helpful and very attentive. On the second level of this place was a salsa club which you get free admission to if you are dinning there. Good information from the waiter So as well as good food we also had great music to listen while we had our dinner Totally would recommend this place for date night

Met up with some friends for dinner here before taking in a show at the nearby Auditorium. I’d been to the one in Long Beach a few times and had no idea it was a chain. My experience with the Café Sevilla in LB have been positive so I was looking forward to seeing how this one compared. The look and feel are very similar, but this location felt more open and expansive. I can’t remember if we’d made reservations but it was still early and not quite full so we were seated right away. We started things off with some sangria and mojitos – we all felt the drinks were pretty good but a little too much on the sweet side. One sangria was enough for me. They did have a free mini app sampler kind of thing with the Unilocal check in, which I thought was pretty generous! Since the place is all about the tapas we ordered a bunch of different dishes to share: wild mushroom empanadas, queso fundido, mushroom flatbread, just to name a few. Everything was tasty but the portions are tapas-sized so the plates do add up. Our server was really on the ball and nice, and overall we had a nice time. Definitely a good place for upscale casual eats and drinks in the area. STEPHJUDGEMENT: The service and food were good but the drinks were a little too sweet.

Review is for their Sunday brunch. The lack of food varieties, the over cooked food items, and the lack of house made deserts really sunk this review. The one and only good thing was their version of paella. So i ate that. But that was it

Went in last night around 5:30 with my boyfriend and we got such good service in the bar from Elizabeth. She was super sweet and she helped us pick out some items for dinner. We tried the $ 40 date night 3 course menu as suggested by the manager on my last Unilocal review. It was such a good deal! We got a pitcher of red sangria, patatas bravas, albondigas, short ribs and salmon– all for $ 40. We also added a few of the HH tapas. We’ll definitely be back soon for the good food and good service. Thanks!

At café sevilla for the first time. Our server Liz is the BEST!!! She was so helpful picking out the best dishes for our first visit. I would literally recommend everything. I even ordered some for the next day to eat for lunch. Since we are here for happy hour($ 3 – 5 off each plate) we could indulge and sample 7 dishes. We also had the free Unilocal sampler and it was delicious. Will definitely come back.

Came here for the first time and had an awesome time with my fiancée. Kimberlee, our server, was awesome! She was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be coming back! My fiancée did most of the ordering, the sea bass was delicious and the dessert was to die for. Can’t wait to come back again!

Having just come back from Spain, I was doubtful that a tapas restaurant in Riverside could live up to the food I had in Spain. Boy, was I wrong! The food was delicious here! Standouts include: manchego and cheese empanadas, mixed olives, patatas bravas, the daily baked bread(the garlic and tomato spreads are yum!), and bacon wrapped dates. Don’t forget to purchase the Unilocal deal and check in to get the free sampler! Definitely worth a return trip.

Great customer service from the moment I walked in, Alfredo was really helpful with their menu options and Alyssa was always making sure I was satisfied with the food. The bar was not the exemption, Kyle was on top with the drinks and his personalized recommendations where on point. Definitely coming back again.

I wanted to celebrate my mom’s birthday someplace new and intimate, and Café Sevilla was the perfect choice! What made it even better was the happy hour prices! We were kindly greeted by our server, Margarita, who was extremely helpful and attentive. She went over the menu for us(as it was our first time there) and gave us some great suggestions! I requested the Check-In Unilocal Platter, and there was something for everyone! I especially liked the ceviche. Among my family, we tried the Shrimp de ajillo, the short ribs, the manchego and cheese empanadas, and the chicken and steak brochettas, all along with their garlic mashed potato and saffron rice. Everything was delicious! And to end the night with a cherry on top, my mom got her birthday surprise:) She got a bread pudding dessert with a gelato scoop on top! They made her feel special and that is what made Café Sevilla earn all 5 stars. Plus, we got to save $ 15 with the Unilocal deal! Overall, great night, great service, and great food. I couldn’t have been happier with our experience here! Looking forward for our next visit!

I am a sucker for comfort food, and they serve it on a multitude of small places.(I’m getting hungry just thinking about it.) I’ve been here several times but recently went for my brother-in-law’s birthday and we had a fantastic time. Later in the night an acoustic Spanish band(think Gypsy Kings) came in and provided tremendous ambiance while we devoured our tapas(the Rioja Short Ribs are a MUST!). And, oh my goodness, they make some really good sangria! The Sangria Blanca tastes just like a chilled apple pie which makes for a fantastic fall drink The only unfortunate thing was that several times items listed on the menus were not available but our waitress, Liz, prevailed. She gave us great recommendations for every item that wasn’t available. Be warned: These little plates of bliss can add up quickly! Expect ~$ 40 – 60 per person. Like many other reviewers mention, it is dark especially upstairs and it can get loud when bands are playing. If you’re prepared for these, then I highly recommend that you check this place out!

And another sixth star for Unilocal special treatment. If you check in, you get a free sampler platter worth probably $ 25. If you don’t read any more of this review, ORDERTHEFREAKINGBACONWRAPPEDDATES! I’ve learned to order these anywhere and these ones were THE best ones I’ve ever had. Everything else we had was good too from the gluten free shrimp garlic mushrooms to the colorful flight of sangrias. I liked the vegetable ratatouille. I had red and white house sangrias and the white tasted like Summer Christmas. Apples and cinnamon? Yum. And to top it all off, going at happy hour(until 7pm!) meant the bill was ½ what I expected(or was willing to pay). Cool hangout on the edge of downtown with pretty wooden décor inside. If I had to think of a downfall, the bar was extra dark so keep that in mind(the waiter even spilled water from not seeing the brim). And spelling/price on gluten free menu was off. But without a doubt I would recommend with two thumbs up. P. S. I’m still thinking about those dates!
