the most entertaining place in riverhead. in addition to bowling; on Saturdays they have a dj from party 105, there’s a great bar, an arcade with a lot of games, a pool table, and good food. a friend of mine had a birthday party here in the v.I.p. room. I highly recommend that to anyone. it’s secluded from everyone else, catered and cleaned by the great staff, and you can get an open bar for a bit extra.

Went here for my birthday on a Saturday. Not too many lanes so im glad we reserved one ahead of time. Reserved a lane for $ 160(paid in advance via cc) covers 2 hours for 8 people. We had a blast! The service however is non existent. No one came to our«table» for drinks. We went to the bar and was told someone would come by. 30 min later we went back to the bar and ordered our own drinks. The bartender had no urgency so we ordered in bulk. Lol We ordered buckets of beer with shots … Went up for another bucket and then were asked to bring our shot glasses back up to refill bc they«ran out». Still wondering where the server for our table was. The staff was super young so im sure that had much to do with the service. The music was good though! And they have an arcade room. Its def a more modern looking bowling alley, not that ive been bowling in the last 10 years but. It was fun despite the lack of service. So overall a good time but that had a lot to do with the company i kept :) I would give it another

Don’t do it! Not enough staff, lousy service due to lack of staff. The food is awful and there is no one manning the arcade at all. Most of the machines/games are broken. It’s as if they think the place can run itself-it can’t. I hope they get new owners cuz I won’t be back.

food was terrible staff was unfriendly still over priced, its almost as if there’s no management and they find the kids from McDonalds to work there never going again. the bowling lanes were not oiled the food was cold, the kitchen was over worked and it wasn’t even that busy. I rather go to wild wood at least there arcade works kinda

I’ve had a few company parties here in the private room. Well organized and attentive. I only gave 4 stars because for the amount of guests we had, they where short on the appetizers and buffet that we ordered.

Celebrated my son’s 5th birthday party at the All-Star and had a blast. It couldn’t have gone better. The All-Star set us up in their back room which was perfect for a group of 3 – 6 year olds. The server was friendly and helpful, the food they provided was tasty and the birthday cake was delish(despite my sons upset at the fact the decorations were flowers). We had a wonderful time can can’t wait to return!

I came here with a few friends last Friday night and we loved it! I was pleasantly surprised that there was a full menu on the lanes I was only expecting standard bowling food. Our servers name was Chris and he was wonderful and made us feel very welcomed. The screens on the lanes were awesome and the sports kept the guys busy so me and my girls actually won a few games. One thing I wasn’t to pleased with was that there was no special for bowling and being there on a Friday night I would expect more. Other then that it was a great time and I am looking into booking my next work party here!

Food was definitely good but the service was deplorable, one of the worst restaurants ever and that includes being comped for everything. Tresinsa was a fabulous waitress but the business of the place was gross. Apparently, my party — including young children — happened upon this establishment when«the chef decided to quit». Our waitress, Tresinsa and the Assistant manager, Andre, were fantastic. Everything else was disrespectful, as if our patronage was diminutive, and the service was deplorable. Honestly, I felt as if I was being treated like a hieney. The fact that the lights went off above our table moments after our food came out — two(2) hours after we ordered it, mind you(nothing more complicated than burgers, of course) made our entire table feel like a squishy tooshy, not in a good way — of course.

Terrible. I came here once for a game, just to practice because I am on a team. When I got to the lanes, the first thing I noticed was that the place had almost no management, at least not anything organized. The lady at the front desk did not know a thing about what she was doing, the pricing for the game was confusing, and nothing really made sense there. I go down to the lanes and I can’t even hit something. The lanes are so under maintained that they are drier than anything I have ever experienced. I am not saying that because I’m trying to make myself look better, As I am a pretty decent bowler. The fact that these lanes were so dry that even I couldn’t get anything makes it very apparent that some professional needs to get in here and OILTHESELANES! This is not a bad place just for the lack of maintenance, this is about money too. How can taking a lane for two hours cost $ 140 on a Saturday night in community, where there is almost NOBODY?! Not only that, I feel bad for the people that have to rent shoes, what a ridiculous price for something like that. Thank goodness I brought my own shoes that night. I decided to settle for a couple of games that were still overpriced, but not as bad as the ridiculousness of a price that I wanted. What I would like to know is what compels the manager Of a bowling facility to turn the place into a nightclub right behind the lanes? A bowling alley designed to help people perfect their game. It is NOT A place to go and have a good night. Bowling is a serious, complicated sport, it should be taken seriously. Under no circumstances should a bowler be deprived of basic House Lane conditions. I am wondering if the money that should’ve gone to oil for the lanes instead went to buying beverages for the people that just go there to have a drink. Is that so? I do not know. I never will know. Because I will NOT be returning to this place. If you are someone who enjoys the beauty of eastern Long Island and for some reason decides to blow your money on something that should only cost $ 10, then be my guest and come to this place. But if you are serious Bowler, that is trying to perfect themselves, and get better at this very challenging sport, this is NOT the place for you. You will learn absolutely nothing about traditional bowling here, and to anyone that does come here I wish you the best of luck, because you will never get back your time and money for coming to The All Star.

First time and will be our last. It’s a Tuesday in the middle of the day and despite asking twice the waitstaff has yet to come over to take our food order. The staff is too busy chatting to do their jobs. The manager handled the situation. He was really nice and gave the kids cards for the arcade.

Really not a good time when we arrived there was total confusion about how the pricing worked the girl at the counter asked us how many games we are thinking of playing we replied we aren’t sure maybe 1or 2 she then charges us for 2 it comes to 75dollars we had to leave after the first game .as we go back to hand in the shoes they tell us there are no refunds. Then some guy who supposedly is the manager hand writes us free games for bowling but with a experation date why the experation date I asked when we just paid full price .no logical response instead he tried undermining me and says that’s there policy .it is a service entrapment where you make the customer spend extra money not everyone knows how many games there going to bowl .very bad customer relations extremely bad never will return always a issue here. tried hard to like this place ., also I paid cash …

Very very very pricey. Between the bowling and a few games and a few drinks(soda) for the three of us costed us an arm and a leg. Place is very nice inside bc it is still relatively new. Be prepared to pay a lot to bowl here unless you come on Sunday’s after 9 they give you a break but for the average person coming for a night out its a lot. Food is good bar food but once again on the pricey side for a place in a bowling alley

Horrendous, disorganized management. Went here to watch a fight — had called twice during the day to confirm it was playing. Was never told we needed a reservation. Showed up to be told«they were at capacity,» and we needed a reservation, even though there were clearly open tables and tons of space. The manager said he would go see what he could do, and left us waiting outside for 30 minutes with no world. So incredibly unprofessional. Wildly disappointed.

Food and service is awesome! And it’s probably one of the best looking bars in the area. The new Managment really stepped their game up.

Great bowling facilities but the bar service needs some attention. We first asked for martinis and the bartender told us she didn’t know how to make them but said«I guess I could look it up.» We decided to try and order a specialty cocktail from the drink list, so we asked for a suggestion. We asked which one she liked the best and she said she never tried any of them… we ended up ordering beers which is probably what you should be ordering at a bowling alley bar anyway.

This place is so much fun! Bowling and good snacks. There’s an arcade room and plenty to keep you occupied on a rainy day. Waitress service at the lanes and better than average fare on the menu. ITS A BOWLINGALLEY — but kinda LOUD. hard to have conversation without screaming.(That really makes me sound like an old lady, lol)

Unimpressed. Went for a birthday party last night. There were so many rules for purchasing games, it got confusing. They also did not inform us that there would be no refund for games not played instead we were given free game cards that I will definitely not ever be using. The young ladies behind the counter were very nice but all seemed hamstrung by a very corporate and stingy process. Was not impressed with the food. The whole process was expensive too. If you are looking for classic bowling go across town to wildwood, they don’t have the menu but the pizza is good.

Amazing(Co-Ed) Birthday Party for my 11 year-old girl ~! The Best Ever Birthday Party ~!! I had 20 children and parents in attendance. The parents and children were all very impressed with The All Star. It exceeded all of our expectations in every regard — Fun, Food, Atmosphere, Service, Management(& Value). In fact, I have three children and this was the best birthday party experience I have ever had. We did the bowling package and purchased arcade cards for the after-party. The attentive service and courtesy of the wait staff(lead by Julie, and et al-?) and management(Matt) was superb. The staff checked in with me constantly and always made sure we had anything we wanted. The facility was super clean and had a vibrant fun tempo. It was a great party that coincidentally had beautiful lanes in front of us. The food was great and even the children ate well. Those home made chips and dip are surprisingly insanely addictive and delicious. We had to take some home. Being provided with pitchers of Chocolate Milk when requested instead of Soda was a huge plus. After the cake, they had a mascot in a bowling pin costume bop around our lanes to take photos. The children loved that surprise too. Having the after party inside the arcade game-room for diversity capped off a perfect overall experience. Giving arcade cards was better than good bags and made for a nice transition to wind-down the party. Everyone noticed the posted specials and made follow-up plans. In any instance, I was so happy to pay the charges at the end of the party and couldn’t have asked for more. That type of experience doesn’t happen much in life. It is well worth the trip from Sag Harbor. We even bumped into a few others families from our area who were playing at The All Star. Clearly The All Star is well worth driving over an hour to each way to enjoy the experience. I don’t ever write reviews despite having seen and experienced an abundance, but this experience was worth sharing.

Last Friday 6÷14÷13 we gathered at The All Star Bowling Facility in Riverhead to have a Team Building Sesion. The Session was 100% organized by The All Star, we had so much FUN …, we did not do any typical bowling. The three hours flew as we did not anticipate to be entertained to that level … they know what they are doing in regards to planning and achieving certain team building goals. The VIP Room is fantastic for this type of events as it provides the privacy required to make everyone feel comfortable and willing to participate. The brick oven Pizzas were delicious and the decoration of all spaces make you feel that you are in NYC. We will be back for sure and we recommend it.

Neat place, especially for being out in Riverhead. The design in interesting and looks cool. The movie screen backdrop is fun, albiet distracting when trying to actually bowl. The food wasn’t bad for a bowling alley either. I wouldn’t be a frequent, but I would go if I were out on the island with some family and looking for some fun bowling stops.
