Red Mango

I saw the perfect opportunity to try something new right next to the buffet I ate at and I took it! Sometimes, when I try something new for the first time and I am completely satisfied, I always wonder why I took so darn long to try it. I totally see why this place has great reviews/​ratings.
We were given little cups to try all the flavors before actually filling our cups and Vanilla Bean took the cake! I love the whole do-​it-​yourself vibe of Red Mango. Now I’m curious to know if there’s one closer to home. But I don’t think that matters because I am willing to travel for some great dinner and deserts!
Yummy! My sisters and I are enjoying our yogurt cups! Oh and there’s whipped cream! You can’t go wrong with whipped cream!

The only reason why I’ll drive 15mins to get here is for the acai bowl or the dragon bowl; only place I know that makes these. Their green juices are also great.

This was my first red mango experience and the Riverdale store did not disappoint.
I walked in and was immediately greeted by the employee behind the counter. She said if we needed any help, to ask. I hope I could manage to make my own container of froyo, but it’s nice to know if you broken an arm or something, the employees are willing to help out.
If you know me, when it comes to flavors or food in general, I’m very boring and get plain everything. For bubble tea, I got the original, for pizza, I prefer cheese pizza with no toppings and for self serve froyo, I apparently only go with one flavor. I went with the Slam Dunk with granola. For someone who isn’t a big fan of froyo, I will come back for Slam Dunk with granola.
My girlfriend got the Tropical Detox juice and at first, we thought that it would be taken from the bottom shelf, but later saw the employee come out with a large blender thing and he made the drink right there in front of us. All I can say is, fresh! According to the employee, you can keep the juice in the fridge and it will stay fresh for 1 – 2 days. It won’t go bad after 2 days, but they advise to drink it before then for that fresh taste.
Aside from the sticky floors and unfortunately the peach flavor not working, it was a great experience. Courteous and friendly employees, clean environment and with not too many froyo places nearby, you can’t really go wrong with this Riverdale location.

Woman staffer was friendly. The gentleman working was downright rude and even cursed at a customer. Will not be returning to this establishment.

Stopped by this place while visiting my girlfriend in north jersey and I LOVED it. The juice was freshly made right in front of me, the «cool pineapple zen» and the «sweet green zing» were refreshing and delicious! Aside from the great variety of juice options, the thing about this place that I loved was the service, which was excellent. They have food and yogurt there too, however i did not get a chance to try it! I will make a note to explore the menu more next time I am in town!

So good! First time experience was great. Love how many healthy options are available and they taste great. Would recommend. Had a smoothie bowl and fresh green juice.

Fiancé and I went here on a whim after a massage next door. He wanted to try one of the fruit juices. I had no intention of getting anything until I saw an acai bowl being advertised at the register. I have had acai bowls before — in Texas and California — but have never found a place in NJ that sold them. The juice was delicious and the acai bowl was outstanding. Fiancé had a taste for the first time and we both devoured it. We even ended up ordering 2 more to go — breakfast for the next day. While we thoroughly enjoyed the drink/​acai bowl, we were even moreso impressed by the service. We went in early evening and there was only one person working — Julianne. After we placed our initial order, she was flooded with customers. (The acai bowl is a bit of a pain to put together/​properly blend — not to mention it was a brand new menu item for them). It took probably about 10 minutes to get it prepped for us and understandably so. She probably got about 30 customers come through in the brief time we spent there. And between ringing people up, blending up our 3 acai bowls and prepping other orders, she also had to attend to a froyo machine malfunction (kept beeping), give masking tape to kids who wanted to stick their coloring book pictures on the wall, answer all our questions about calorie count and ingredients yet still managed to greet every guest hello and thank them upon leaving. She was literally everywhere doing everything, with a smile. My fiancé asked her if she had a financial investment in the company because he was so impressed. Anyhow, we don’t live close but we will definitely be back. For the juices, acai bowls (get it with peanut butter!), and the amazing service.

I really like the Red Mango chain, and this location is the best I’ve visited. Their yogurt is awesome (mango is my favorite), and I had a chance to try their smoothies and fruit drinks and they were amazing. Its a hard choice between getting a smoothie or yogurt, but I end up ordering the latter so I can pile on the toppings. Super friendly staff too.

Love the protein shakes. Can’t go wrong with healthy ingredients and a friendly staff. They keep the store clean and the staff is always helpful.

It’s the only place I’ll go to for frozen yogurt. I live in an area where there’s about 4 – 5 frozen yogurts chains within a 10 min drive but I only prefer this location. The place is clean, has a nice appeal to it, and the staff [and owners] are welcoming, friendly, and take the time to just say hello. It also helps that this place has a great collection of flavors.
I always go for the frozen yogurt but end up getting their fresh juices as well. I highly recommend the Sweet Green Zing but then again, I’m still working on trying everything!

Absolutely love this place! From the fresh juices to the frozen yogurt this location has everything! The staff is super friendly and always helpful when I want to try something new. I highly recommend trying them out!

Customer service was amazing! Such a polite crew. The owners were there during my visit and it was nice to see them engaged in their business. In the past I’ve had Apple carrot orange juice and my fave items are the peanut butter protein smoothie (to die for!) and the southwest chicken panini.
This place is neat, clean and in a great location!

Most of the flavors at Red Mango Frozen Yogurt are nonfat, kosher, and gluten free. As someone with a terrible sweet tooth, this healthy option is fantastic and makes me feel less guilty. Of course I screw everything up when I get to the toppings station! Oh well.
I recommend the juices for pre and post workouts. Haven’t tried the juice cleanse yet but will do so soon!

I live in the city but work nearby … The one major difference between Red Mango and most juice spots in the city is that Red Mango bottles the juices for you instead of giving it to you in a cup with a straw. Most places in the city have the bottled juices pre-​made. Red Mango makes them fresh to order! The Sweet Green Zing is my favorite but the Heart Beeter is a close second!
I also LOVE their café food selection. A juice bar PLUS food is a total win win. The Chicken Pesto Flatbread is my favorite.

White Peach. THE BEST FROZEN YOGURT FLAVOR ACROSS ALL BRANDS. Any other flavor under any other chain can take a walk. White Peach, All day. everyday.

Like everybody else, I’ve been to a few Red Mango’s, primarily in NYC. (The ones in NYC make me cringe; they’re all overcrowded, messy, and chaotic.) This Red Mango is different in a lot of great ways!
Pros:
— huge selection: Of course this Red Mango has a wide selection of frozen yogurt flavors and endless toppings (including really fresh fruit!), but it’s also a café with a killer juice bar and smoothie menu
— clean and comfortable
— friendly staff
Cons: I can’t go on a regular basis because it’s not in NYC. =P
So pro tip: I did the $ 40 juice detox, which they prepared right in front of me. It’s awesome! (It takes maybe 15 minutes to prepare if they aren’t busy, so they recommend calling/​ordering ahead, but I’m a last minute kind of girl and I had a little time to kill.)
And that’s in comparison with the bunch of juice cleanses/​detox programs: Blue Print, Dr. Oz’s 2-​Day Detox, Whole Foods’ brand, blah blah. (They are more expensive and/​or just don’t taste/​feel good going down.)
I chose the «Triple Greens» which is:
— 2 Sweet Green Zings: apple, kale, lemon, spinach, cucumber, celery, ginger
— 1 Beauty and the Greens: apple, kale, lemon, spinach, cucumber, celery
— 1 Tropical Detox: pineapple, pear, kiwi, cucumber, mint
— 1 Cool Pineapple Zen: pineapple, cucumber, apple, lemon, mint
— 1 Heart Beeter: beet, carrot, apple, ginger, spinach, lemon
They’re all tasty. All of them. And they do as hoped… help move things along. My favorite was the Heart Beeter.

This is one of my favorite places to go. I’m so glad that it opened not far from my work. The juices are fantastic. Always fresh made right in front of you. The frozen yogurt is some of the best and you can’t forget all the toppings to choose from. From nuts to candy you can’t go wrong.
Another great things is their café items. It’s a one stop shop from breakfast to lunch and smoothie and juices. All amazing

I been to a few Red Mango locations, this one is pretty good. Like all Red Mango’s it’s all about the toppings! A lot of fresh fruit and less guilt than other competitors.
The real rockstar of this location is the smoothies and juices! Their juice bar is phenomenal; there’s a much bigger menu than other Red Mango locations and they now Red Mango carry bottled smoothies and drinks.
On my last visit I had a really, really good smoothie… but you can tell the juice thing hasn’t really caught on because the two employees were both studying the recipe (not a bad thing) before they made it; it was an awesome smoothie.
I also, noticed they had a small selection of desserts and coffee beverages. I haven’t tried any of these yet but they looked pretty yummy.
The only thing that scares me is the fact that it’s never busy. On my last visit they didn’t have all the machines in service. I hope it sticks around, because it’s a pretty solid place.
