I don’t know what has happened to this Winn-Dixie but it is now horrible. Their produce section always looks like there is a hurricane coming and people ransacked the shelves to prepare for the storm. The seafood section is now awful as well. I believe a Langenstein’s is set to open up in old shopping center at Sauve so hopefully this will finally give a good option other than the horrible Breaux Mart and this awful Winn-Dixie.

This location is the Snow White of Winn Dixies. It is every nice and has a great selection of produce, local foods, ethnic foods and alcohol. I think this may have been the first«Marketplace» Winn Dixie when it opened, so that may be why it’s the Taj Mahal of most Winn Dixies. The thing I like about this Winn Dixie is that it is consistent. I can usually find what I am looking for(except seafood stock) and the service is pretty good. Lines can be long at times, but that is pretty typical for grocery stores. The cold food sections are extremely cold; it feels like Alaska, so try to keep your extremities warm.

This is one of the big Winn Dixies. Well stocked, with a decent fresh food section. The store looks clean, like well scrubbed. There is usually enough cashiers that the wait in line isn’t too long. Which is important when you only have a few items to purchase. One thing I like is their rotisserie chicken. We can eat it as is, or shred it for another dish. Saves on cooking time. Prices are competitive.

Hey Unilocal! This location is in River Ridge, not New Orleans. Yes, I know 70123 should be a city zip code but it’s not. Get over it. So with that off my chest, this is a fancypants Winn Dixie. It has a ton of prepared foods, a decent selection of fresh produce, and all the usual grocery items. It has always seemed clean to me and the store well maintained.

Im here every week with my grandmother. I think they are overpriced but their steaks/meat are pretty good.
