Great layered cut with Shannon! Great stylish long haircut. Great attention to detail

Kelly has been cutting and coloring my hair for 3 years and it has never looked or felt better. She is a magician and has worked with me in my ever changing quest to ease in my gray hair. She suggested that we use low lights to soften the gray and the result is awesome. Looks absolutely natural and feels great. The staff here is awesome too, from Alma at the front desk who always gives me a reminder call the day before (thank you) to Anna who gives such a great massage at the shampoo bowl that you never want to leave. My children also get their hair cut here, 15 and 18 years old (not easy ages to please) and Candy and Shannon have delivered! Great salon, great people, great results!

Clydon’s is an extremely service oriented and professional salon. I have had facials from Jessie for 2 years — she has shaved off the effects of the aging process by many years for my skin. She is very honest and direct about what types of products or services to use, and if something isn’t working she tells you. She goes above and beyond in how careful and thorough she is in taking care of her clients. I highly recommend Jessie’s facials for anyone who is serious about taking care of their skin.

Jessie Dashnyam is the best — she’s the first esthetician ever to provide good enough service to make me want to give repeat business! She is fantastic with nails and skin care, too. And to top off her skill and experience, she’s professional, courteous, and personable. I never go to anyone else for wax, pedi, or facials!

I had a facial with Jessie at Clydon Salon. She’s a professional esthetician and does an excellent job. My face felt very smooth and rejuvenated after it. I ‘m going to get a facial every two weeks from now on. Highly recommend the salon, very clean and everything is disposable she uses. Sofia.

When it’s about skin care, manicure, pedicure or waxing I expect professional, knowledgeable, courteous and above all hygienic service. You will get all of the above and more when you have these done by Jessie D.

I went in for a haircut with Alex. I was helped immediately by her, she offered me water and took my coat, and we got started on my haircut right away. After cutting my hair she shampooed me and put gel in my hair. I was very satisfied with the service provided and would definitely recommend anybody to go get their haircut with her.

Where to start!
You walk in and the atmosphere is great. It’s very calm and relaxed. And CLEAN! This place looked immaculate. I couldn’t believe how clean a salon could be. The décor is very ambient and goes well with the vibe.
I had an appointment for 5:15. I walked in at about 5:10 and was put in my chair immediately. My stylist, Alex, and I went to work at deciding the best option for my hair. Alex is newer at this, but amazing, nonetheless. The senior stylist was more than willing to help out if there were any questions and was so concerned with teaching Alex. It was amazing to see.
I ended up going with a dye and cut, and I am in love. Alex was able to do something that looked amazing on me. I couldn’t be more happy with the service, atmosphere or outcome!

New to the area and read reviews which sounded good so thought I’d give it a try. I’ve had the same hair dresses for 30 yrs. so this wasn’t easy to find someone I was happy with. Well I did and Kelly did a great job, the color and highlights I love and the cut is awesome. She is very meticulous at her work and that’s what I like. Thanks to all of you for making this visit a great one. I will be back regularly !!

I’ve been here twice already, and Alma works magic on my nails ! I’m one satisfied girl and recommend this place to relax and pamper yourself when needed.

I went there for the first time today and got an Express facial with Hannah. It was heavenly and I already made an appointment to come back for a full facial. Hannah was so sweet and welcoming that I liked her right away, and the facial massage was so relaxing I almost fell asleep. I was hesitant to try out this salon at first because it’s not walking distance to me in Oak Park and I don’t know anyone who goes here, but they sent me a birthday postcard so I thought «why not?» I’m so glad I did and can’t wait to try their other services. There is free street parking for 2 hours also which is very convenient, and good location right across from Panera and Binny’s on North Ave.

Everyday Beauty is fantastic and Jessie is the best. Great professional products. She is a true artist at what she does. Her water facials are fabulous and perfect for those with sensitive skin, if you want personalized service with a smile… this is the spa for you.

If you like personal service and the feeling of being truly pampered, this is the salon for you. This a wonderful and individual experience and Jessie the owner is fantastic. She is a trained esthetician who does everything to make your skin glow. She gives great manicures and pedicures all with the focus on you and your experience. Please make an appointment and see what I mean. You will not be disappointed.

I have to agree with all of the great Unilocal reviews already posted about Clydon Hair Salon and Spa. My sister and I came here for a «Quick Getaway Package» (to which we added a manicure) and it was fabulous. They definitely will see us again.

Hannah (Massage and Facial): Incredibly pleasant and bubbly with magical hands. I’m not sure what happened when the lights dimmed, but I think Hannah may live a secret life as an octopus. There is no way there were only 2 hands working on me! It was amazing, and the facial was just as tremendous. Bonus: perfect meditation background music. I wanted to stay right there for the next 3 days.
Name unknown (Shampoo Girl): Kind and courteous and provided a very relaxing and comfortable shampoo
Kelly (Blow Dry and Manicure): Very sweet girl who blew me away when she blow dried and styled my hair. I didn’t know I could look so good! She also gave me the most gentle manicure I have ever received. My nails look great and as a bonus, she even soaked/​cleaned my rings for me so everything, including me, is so shiny!
Edward (Owner): Very kind. He thoroughly explained various packages and pricing and offered assistance when I was at the register so I didn’t have to worry about my newly done nails.
Everyone else in the spa: Happy, polite, courteous
Overall, this spa seems like a warm and genuine place where the staff truly enjoys being, and as a natural extension of that, so do the clients.

I recently read a negative review from Marnie R. I’m confused what her issue was. I can tell y’all with confidence that it is not accurate. You can’t please everyone and some are impossible to please. But this salon is the real deal. Go. Enjoy and fall in love!

they sent me a flyer to get a free service of my choice within a price range for my birthday so i got an express facial. it was nice & relaxin & my face felt great afterwards. the lady who did it was super nice and made me feel really comfortable.

I recently went to visit a girlfriend of mine in River Forest, IL. We decided to go get some lunch and then a relaxing mani-​pedi. The closest place to go to after lunch was a place called Clydon Hair Salon and Spa. I have never been more impressed! From the moment we walked in the door we were treated like family. We only had to wait about 5 minutes to get our mani-​pedis started. I am so amazed at how welcoming everyone is there. Other places I’ve been to were usually awkward to me due to the employees looking so serious and displaced.
I’m not sure who my girlfriend dealt with; but I dealt with Mary. She is the sweetest person! Not to mention how absolutely wonderful my nails looked. She also did a special design on my toes; which made them perfect for the open-​toed shoes I had to wear the next day. Thank you Mary and everyone else at Clydon Hair Salon and Spa! You were wonderful; and I will be back!

My hair was in desperate need of a dye job. Instead of using an at home kit, I decided to give Clydon Salon a try. I’m glad I did! It was so reasonably priced and well done that I don’t think I’ll go back to the box stuff. Kelly did my hair and she was awesome. She helped decide on a color shade that would match my skin tone best.
The whole atmosphere of Clydon was great. I went without making an appointment and barely had to wait. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly. I will definitely go back here!
