We spotted this little place not long ago and I finally decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did because I’ve found the Vietnamese food I’ve been missing since we moved to New Mexico. The deep fried egg rolls are simply the best! I have a very hard time deciding between the Rice Noodle Bowl and Viet Rice Noodle. But wait… the Phở is fantastic, and the Hue Style Noodle Soup. Definitely my biggest problem is making a decision. We either eat in or call for carry-out once or twice a week. By the way, the service is outstanding.

Great price, clean décor, friendly staff, amazing food taste. I love coming here after work or with my grandmother just to get some good phở soup. The taste is amazing I haven’t had good phở in a long time I highly recommend stopping by

This place is one of the best Vietnamese Places I’ve ever been to. The Fried rice combination and Hot Rice Clay Pot are awesome and they made with FRESH seafood and very tasty. Reasonably priced.

Disappointing. It doesn’t seem like they take pride in their cooking. The food is poorly cooked. Noodles tasted like it were cooked a few days ago. This place used to be great about 8 – 9 years ago. There are much better options in the area. Try Thai kitchen or Banana Leaf instead.

4 years later and I still dine at Viet Rice restaurant frequently. So nice to see the familiar faces of the servers, who are very attentive. Phở is still delicious, as are the spring rolls and the avocado boba smoothie — don’t knock it ’til you try it! My go-to phở spot for as long as I live in the Rio Rancho area!

All I can say is that i have eaten Phở in many restaurants and this place has The Best Phở that I’ve ever tasted. I don’t know their secret but they need to guard it carefully. I always make sure that I add Sriracha sauce, jalapeños, basil and sprouts to give it the perfect flavor. You don’t have to because the natural flavor is perfect but I like my food spicy.

We eat here often — both eat in and take away — and have been consistently impressed. The phở is delicious and the pork spring rolls can’t be beat. The prices are an added bonus — great food at a great price — what’s not to love?

We came here with high expectations after reading other reviews, and we had the Spring Rolls, Chicken Phở and the Chicken Clay Pot. The phở was delicious, and a very solid dish, but the other two dishes seemed to lack in flavor and freshness. The other downside was the service, while the staff was very friendly, they were understaffed and we didn’t get a whole lot of attention.

They are always very welcoming and remember my order here! It seems like the phở gets better and better every time I go! Definitely the best phở in Rio Rancho.

I am very new to Vietnamese food. So I am in no way an expert. I do want to say that I preferred this place over Phở Bar in Rio Rancho. Not having any other place to compare to, this place is cleaner and the staff is so much friendlier. Not to mention, way closer to my house. We loved the Phở and will be back soon. The veggies and sides that are added to the Phở seem more fresh here too.

My eating companion and I ordered a Combination Vietnamese Sanwich(sic) and the Seafood Beef Noodle Soup. The sandwich was quite large compared to other Banh Mi establishments around town. It was good, but there were a few too many flavors competing for my tastebuds. The soup was quite good with several pieces of calamari and imitation crab floating in the broth. There were only a few shrimp, and the imitation crab began to fall apart as the meal wore on. The basil was a bit bitter and old, but the cilantro and mung beans were fresh. The broth was a little on the weak side compared to some other Phở places around town. The service was prompt, and the sick jams on the TV kept my eating companion and my toes tapping all through dinner. The candy situation leaves something to be desired, with only token peppermints to help you on your way out the door. Where are the lychee or soursop flavors?

The Phở soup is excellent and, in my opinion, more flavorful than the Vietnamese place on Southern. The spring rolls are very good also.

A nice surprise. I’ve driven by many times, but was glad I finally stopped in. The Viet Rice dishes are excellent(as their slogan says, the do know rice!), the spring rolls are very large and fresh, and the crepes are terrific. My wife and I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes. Sounds like the mango salad and grape leaves are next. Prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is friendly.

Their chicken noodle soup Phở is awesome. Perfect for the winter. I still order it in the summer even though it is SO hot! It is a giant portion! Their spring rolls are awesome – they have the best peanut sauce. Service is not very friendly. Hot Clay Pot is a little on the greasy side. All around… pretty good.

I’m actually a big fan of the food here. I really enjoy the Beef Noodle Soup and the Viet Rice dishes. I always top it off with the Avocado milkshake too. I would give 4 stars except the service isn’t the best. The waitstaff tends to forget about you. One of the few places where our kids actually sit down and finish everything on their plates too. They love the fried shrimp. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who is either new to Phở dishes or who is just looking for some good variety.

Place is okay, I come here to eat only noodles so I can only review on that. The portions is kinda small compared to all the other phở restaurants in town but the broth is pretty good. Service was okay, not great but not bad. They have viet music playing in background and it wasn’t loud so it didn’t get my nerves. The seating arrangement was good, it wasn’t too close to other tables to hear every conversations. The decorations for the wall was okay.
