This place is now CLOSED. There is a handwritten sign stating another eatery is opening in its place — and it didn’t sound like a bakery. The burek here are the bomb dot com! Their yogurt however, although not bad, is not as good as Bosna Express’ or Burek’s Pizza on Forest Ave. The burek here are moist — in other words, more on the greasy side which I personally love. Other comparable burek spots in Queens: Burek’s Pizza — Forest Ave(amazing burek and awesome yogurt) Ukus in Astoria: Amazing burek, particularly if you like your burek on the crispier side — wonderful yogurt as well and lots of other Bosnian foods you can try(both savory and sweet)

Go here for Tiramisu. It is the best dessert I have had here, the cream, the espresso, one amazing combination. I would most definitely come back, the owner(I believe is the owner) is so sweet and welcoming. I would come back, maybe to buy an entire cake.

Favorite bakery/café stop in Ridgewood. Stopped in for today for a strawberry, Nutella crêpe. They’re very friendly and hospitable.

Asked for a toasted roll with butter… Not only were they expensive $ 3 but when I looked in the bag it was cold, the butter was as hard as lard, and they didn’t even wrap it in paper or foil. Never again…

Really tasty bureks here, especially the beef and the spinach ones. You get a huge massive slice for just four dollars. Also recommend the delicious baklava. What a nice bakery to have in Ridgewood!

Their Nutella Coffee Cake is AMAZING!!! It’s moist throughout and not overly sweet; the Nutella taste is subtle in a good way. Both the owner and staff are consistently friendly. There is a warm energy in this intimate place and I’ve been a regular since their opening. Also try: Apple Crumb Cake(full of small pieces of caramelized apple!) Pork Roll(made with lard; crispy exterior and soft dough inside) Baklava(light on the crispy and sweet factor; very tasty) Ground Pork Pie(a bit greasy but very delicious) *I’m lactose intolerant and very selective when it comes to eating most pastries. I haven’t had any stomach issues with what I’ve tried so far*

Months and months after putting up the awning promising a Sweet Little Bakery, it finally opened last week. For now it only serves coffee(drip and espresso drinks) and a handful of pastries/baked goods but the owner said they will be expanding. They serve good old Lavazza, which is strong and greatly priced at $ 1(small) and $ 2(large), which includes tax so you’re not left with a bunch of change every morning. It’s got a totally non-attitude, friendly atmosphere and I can’t wait until they’re fully operating!
