We went for the Sunday Brunch and could not have been more impressed with the food(the brioche French toast with Nutella ricotta cream and bananas was a religious experience) or the friendly and attentive waitstaff. The single criticism is that the lovely décor does sport a hard surface flor that bounces sound around so it can be loud even if you’re not sitting right next to a crowd. Don’t forget to leave a couple of hours for browsing in the amazing and gigantic attached store!

We’ve eaten there a few times and they just need to get it together. We are there within a few weeks of opening and the food was just plain bad. We did the Saturday pancake breakfast yesterday and it was a good deal… Excellent deal in fact, but the pancakes themselves weren’t so good. Needs to redo the recipe. We will keep going but I hope they get a better chef.

Excellent service. Good on refills on juice and coffee. We got the pancake deal where adults eat pancakes for $ 5 each and a side of sausage or bacon and fruit(red and green grapes and orange slice). Awesome deal. Kids loved their pancakes and sausage/bacon. FYI-bacon was crisp and yummy. Deal offered on Saturdays from 730 – 10 am.

Day 3 of their opening. I haven’t eaten at Southerly yet, but they I did go to check them out. Very limited, expensive menu. Just know each dish is over $ 20. I believe the lowest priced entrée on the menu is a burger for $ 14. The wait was an hour when I went. Couldn’t wait that long. They offer prix fixe dinners Sunday-Thursday for $ 29, and $ 5 pancake breakfasts on Saturday mornings. Will try again another time.
