Salon Debonaire

I have been going to Salon Debonaire for almost 10 years now. I am in my mid40s with mid waist length curly, frizzy hair with a fair share of the nasty grays! Anh Dai is the best! She is always accommodating with my schedule — I should by now know when I need my next appt and plan for it, but I am always calling last minute and Anh Dai has always helped me out. I get great compliments on my hair color and highlights and always walk out of the salon feeling great!
The salon is clean, has free coffee & snacks, free mamosas… yes and a great WiFi that I use to finish work and manage my time — my visits can take 2+ hours. All these conveniences make the time go by so smooth! plus I should add, I have never waited more than 5 mins for my appointment

I went there for a Japanese hair straightening consultation, and was told that I needed an appointment so I made one for the following day. I got there and was said to wait, I waited for 30 minutes so I asked how much longer I had to wait, that I didn’t have much time left, the receptionist told me that the lady wasn’t done yet. Their web site says that the treatment cost $ 300 and up, so I calculated an extra $ 100 for been the first time, but by talking to the the receptionist she told me that the first times are regularly $ 600 (I know these treatments can be that expensive) so I decided to leave. I was not going to pay the double amount and to be honest I wouldn’t get my hair done in a salon with that kind of costumer service, the hairdresser never went out to check on me. Other than that I can’t say because that is my only experience there.

Just went to this Salon for the first time. I’ve never had a more unfriendly hair stylist in my life! I informed her that Redkin products don’t seem tone the best dye for my hair and I came to this salon since they also have organic dyes. My hair is super dry this time of year and I didn’t want to dry it out any further. I simply wanted my gray hairs covered at the roots. Well Heather mixed Redkin and put that on my hair! I could smell the amonia peroxide In it. Bad business

If only I had read Unilocal first. My friend had gone here so I decided to give it a try and get my hair cut with Deborah. To start with, they have you wait in the shampoo chairs and wait for your appointment. No one talked to me and I just sat their awkwardly waiting for Deborah.
When I get my hair done, that is rare «me» time that I have. If you want your hair shampooed it is $ 10, but they recommend dry cutting your hair. I figured since she wanted to dry cut my hair she knew what she was doing. She literally picked up sections of my hair and just cut across. She missed one section completely and it looks like a toddler took kid scissors and just cut blunt sections across. She also kept trying to convince me to color sections of my hair with her (I have a few grays ok? I don’t mind them!)
I have NEVER complained about a hair cut and I called and asked for a refund. To which they replied Deborah was with a customer and would call me back. I have not heard back. I now have to cut my hair even shorter than I want because I had to call a different place to get them to fix this haircut. Worst part? My sister’s wedding is coming up and I have this hair.
Do not go here.

I have to join in with the other terrible reviews here. I had an appointment with Deborah (the owner), for which she was 30 minutes late. She gave me a 5 minute ‘consultation’ on my hair color without even showing me a swatch book with color options, and flat out refused to do so when I asked her for one. She then abruptly suggested I leave the salon because I clearly «didn’t trust her» (I had never been to the salon before or met her) before rattling off her experience that she believe qualified her to mix color without consulting her client. When she did pull out a swatch book, she rudely thrust it into my lap saying that I «wouldn’t know what I was looking at» and asked me if I «told my doctor how to do his job» when I was at his office. Highly insulted, I closed the book and stood up to leave. She forced me to retrieve my own coat and then told the receptionist to get my name so that she could «report» me to Groupon (which is how I found the salon). It was an unfortunate experience to say the least, but I take comfort in the fact that all the clients in the salon and her staff observed her unprofessional, rude behavior and yelling. I am even more relieved that I left before she had a chance to touch my hair!

The worst haircut I ever received! I brought in a picture of the hair cut I wanted, which was the same cut I had in the past at a different salon. I wanted it just like the picture but a longer version. I was told that it could not be done, my hair was the wrong texture and I had curly hair. Interesting because in my 40 plus years of haircuts, I have never had curly hair. The woman who was cutting my hair had a dress on that was too small on top and «the girls» were hanging out over the top. I will NEVER go back

I had purchased a Groupon and finally had the chance to use it in the beginning of September. Anna was my stylist. I only wanted a ½ inch trim. She kept cutting and cutting and before I knew it, she had cut at least 3 to 4 inches. I wanted a blunt cut bob. I was not happy having short hair. Now I have to wait months for it to grow out. The other stylists were very rude. They did not even show us the waiting room. By the way, I waited about 30 minutes for Anna to show up for my appointment. She was a half hour late.

Do not go here. salon Debra Lee, owner does not know what she is doing. Horrible Brazilian straight, color and cut. She should have paid me to go there… it took almost a yr to get my hair back to looking like hair again.
