I have been going to Ruby’s for over six years. The main stylist is higly acclaimed in color, cut, highlight, and suberb blow dry and style. Very affordable, thus making it feasable for me to get my naturally curly hair blow dryed and styled two — three times a month. The scheduling is flexible, and they are always ready for their clients (no sitting under the dryer forever). The women are frendly and professional, this is a place that I would recommend for anyone who is looking for a long time hair dresser that will listen to what you want. You will want to ask for Andrea.

My experience at this salon was ok. I was nervous going here but after reading the reviews, I decided to give a chance. Anna was nice and friendly, but her experience of hair cutting wasn’t that great. I came with a long hair, but came out with a short hair that I’m didn’t expected. I showed her the picture of the style that I wanted, but my hair didn’t come close to the picture. So I was disppointed. ;o (if you want a good hair, you shouldn’t come here, but the service is great.

I discovered this place recently and was surprised it was even there. It is hidden between a café and a vacuum repair shop across from Ace Hardware near the corner of MacBryde and San Pablo. But it was a very worthwhile find, the owner is super nice. Not like those hair salons with unscrupulous asian people working there that wont even tell you their name when you try to introduce yourself or just say yes to everything even if they don’t have it or don’t understand you. They are straight forward here, make every effort to give you what you want and treat you like family. Very nice ladies working here. English, Spanish, and Portuguese spoken fluently. Very nice homey atmosphere.
