Went here recently to buy some costume makeup for comic-con and they we as knowledgeable as it comes! The lady took her time helping me pick out the exact type of makeup wheel I wanted and couldn’t have been nicer! My go-to spot for anything on the stage!

Great selection of quality wigs at great prices, and a WONDERFUL selection of make-up. The staff is awesome, they can answer any question you’d have and will happily share info with you. The only bummer is the size of the shop. Not a lot of costume accessories, as the location isn’t that large.

Looking for a reindeer costume with a giant head? How about makeup to create that gory look seen in the movies? And what about tights, masks, elf shoes, and animal noses? Première Costumes has it all, and much, much more! Costumes are available for rental and for purchase, although I think the selection is different depending on which route you go. I recently popped in for the first time in search of a gingerbread man costume, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I walked up the stairs to enter this second-story shop and was both awe-inspired and overwhelmed at the same time. Costumes range from seasonal to timeless, children to adult, and accessories are abundant throughout the shop. I didn’t even know where to begin, so I asked a very friendly sales associate for guidance. She was knowledgeable about all of the products and answered all of my questions, even providing additional information that she thought might be useful. I left empty-handed, but only because the gingerbread man costume was a little pricey compared to what I was hoping to spend. The prices aren’t the cheapest, but the costumes are definitely higher quality than what you’d find at a Party City or similar stores. I can definitely see myself spending lots of time at Première next time I have a costume party to attend. The accessories are worth a visit alone… and if you aren’t sure what you’re looking for, trust me you will be inspired at this local costume shop.

A fun place to take kids who are tired of shopping with mom in carytown. They have an assortment of accessories for any fantasy. Rental costumes decorate most of the floorspace which is my only complaint. I would rather purchase one than rent one. The most exceptional thing I have found here is one of the employees, George, who has an extreme knowledge of costume makeup. This is indisputable because he is often seen wearing it. His helpfulness in directing me on how to apply face-paint to a long line of children saved me a huge mishap, and I couldn’t recommend anyone stronger than George for any make up advice.

I have loved Première forever! Excellent selection of costumes and accessories for sale and for rent. Excellent customer service. Fair prices. I went to Première today to get something for a Renaissance event tomorrow and found exactly what I needed exactly in my size. If you don’t have a costume for Halloween, go to Première. You’ll definitely find something whether your need is Revolutionary, cartoon, or antebellum themed. Know that it’s ALWAYS a madhouse during Halloween, so reserve your costume well in advance of your event.

We needed a costume for colonial days. They had what we needed, were very helpful, and allowed us to keep the costume for a week for a very reasonable price.

They’ve got a million costumes, they rent and sell, and there’s makeup and accessories for every idea you’ve got. And it you don’t HAVE any ideas or you’re pre-loaded for that party, the smart and friendly staff will point out what you’d look good in or what would go well with the party you’re headed to.

Première has all your costuming needs. They have rentals, theatrical costumes, wigs, masks, cheaper Halloween stuff, all kinds of accessories and real theatrical makeup. They make a lot of the stuff they sell, like Mardi Gras masks and fake wounds. There’s a minimum on credit card purchases and they do let you try on the wigs. Staff here is really nice and friendly. Rachel is always very helpful and has some great ideas if you’re stuck for costumes. They carry real theatrical makeup like Ben Nye.

Horse head? Jason? Zorro? T.I. Creepy bunny? You can be it all! Première has a large assortment of slick costumes. Went in with some friends to buy masks, we each tried on 10 different ones… but the salesperson remained extremely helpful and friendly the entire visit. Go in and have some fun, you won’t be disappointed.

You know what’s better than drinking margaritas outside on a sunny day? Paying your bill and walking over to try on costumes. One minute I’m in shorts and flip flops, the next I’m a huge pink bunny ready to wreck havoc on the streets of Carytown. A few minutes later, I’m a centaur caught between mythical worlds waiting to unleash my magical ways on unsuspecting humans. This isn’t your ordinary costume store with cheap overseas made kiddie Halloween costumes. Premier has more theatrical costumes with racks and racks of them. Go to the other side and buy a mustache or pirate gear. Whatever your flavor, you’ll enjoy ~
