Papa John’s Pizza

Specifically ordered garlic sauce as it was not included last time. Sure enough… no garlic sauce. Called the store and the guy on the phone said that we did not order any. I then said that there were two witnesses that heard the order for it. He then said that he would send some over. After another 30 min… no sign of them. Plus the pizza arrived cold.
I now see why this place has terrible reviews!

I’ve ordered many pizzas from this store. They’ve always been pretty fast. The pizzas get here hot. The delivery people are pleasant. One time they gave me a diet pepsi when I ordered a regular pepsi. They told me to keep the diet and sent out the regular after I called. It’s a solid Papa John’s store, and I like Papa John’s for their fresh tasting ingredients and pizza that reheats really well.
It’s a better choice than the Pizza Hut @ 5817 Midlothian Turnpike, which may work out okay, or you may get a cool pizza or even have to do work to get your pizza at all with a long wait time.

Ordered last night, food was delivered quickly and the driver was courteous. All went down hill after that. The pizza was small and sparse with toppings, the pizza had not been cut, no big deal I own a knife. On to the wings, took a bite and was disappointed raft they were cold, then I got upset when I realized that they were cold because they hadn’t been cooked. All of them were cold. Didn’t risk it. This place is too expensive to deliver this bobo food. Later papa. I’ll be ordering late night pizza from chanellos like the rest of Richmond.

Have been using this location for almost two years always getting the same thing. Today they said they can no longer offer the same price ($ 4) jump because they are trying to push their side items nobody wants. I would suggest you put this very last on your list if you want pizza. Have had ordering issues several times as well.

I’ve had pretty good service from this particular Papa John’s. Until today, that is. I placed my order online as usual, and the estimated time for delivery was 30 – 40 minutes. They’re usually faster than that, so I didn’t start to wonder until about 45 minutes had passed. I called the store to make sure the driver hadn’t gotten lost or something and was immediately put on hold. I waited on hold for another 5 minutes before hanging up and calling back. The brusque clerk tried to put me on hold again, but I stopped her. I explained the situation, and all she could tell me was that the order was no longer in the store. 30 minutes later the driver still had not shown up. I called again, and they tell me the driver knocked on the door and no one answered. I have been within eye-​sight of the door the whole time, and unless this driver is a timid knocker, he went to the wrong door. I will not be ordering from them again anytime soon, if ever.
