I love this place. The people are extremely nice, the salad bar is super fresh, and the salad plates are cold. Prices reasonable. We need more places like this!

I just love this location of Jason’s Deli! The staff is so sweet every time I go, and even when it’s busy, the service is fast. And the salad bar has so many selections and is always fresh and healthy! I’ve also gotten multiple sandwiches, and every single one has been delicious(try the BLT– you can’t go wrong!) We went today, and a staff member met us at the door with a rolling chair to put our baby’s car seat on to make it easier to transport. It was just such a thoughtful touch which made everything easier! My only complaint is that the prices are high, but that’s the chain’s decision, not this location. And the quality of the food makes it worth it. Finally, don’t forget your free ice cream! Yum!

Seemed very expensive and I didn’t feel well after eating here. Employees also seemed very frazzled. I did like the selection at the salad bar.

Jason’s Deli does a stand up job, both in terms of food freshness and customer service. I love going to this location, because the managers go out of their way to make sure you are having a great dining experience. Today was no different, I was reminded of the muffins available at the bar and the soft serve custard for dessert. As for food, I got the California Club, which was awesome– super flaky croissant and turkey was piled high along with a generous helping of bacon. The avocados were ripe and tasty as well. I ended the meal with the custard topped with fudge, which(super beast bonus) is always FREE.

Was very excited to try this place but ehhh, it’s just ok. Salad bar lacks a lot of items that could be on it, hardly any salads on it. Ordered soup which is supposed to be brought to table but no one ever did so I had to get it myself. Bathroom was very dirty! This is always a bad sign to me, wonder how bad the kitchen is :( Sweet tomatoes is soooo much better! Go there instead.

I placed an order for pickup and was told the meal would be ready within 15 minutes. I arrived twenty minutes later and the food was not ready. I ended up having to wait twenty additional minutes for the meal, which made me late to work. The food was delicious however the wait was unacceptable given the circumstances. If they had told me over the phone that the wait was going to be closer to 30 – 40 minutes I would have chosen a different time to try their to go services. Despite the delays, the staff were working hard and handled the situation professionally. Though I may return for a sit down meal, I definitely won’t be ordering to go food from them again.

Jason’s Deli is the place to go with a varied crowd – there is something on the menu to please everyone. The attitude makes the food even better. f you are lucky, you will get to meet Jacque, a server extraordinare! His sense of humor, fabulous attitude and constantly upbeat mood bring a special touch to this location of Jason’s Deli. I’m always very happy to see him. Jacque and the rest of the staff bring cheer, fun, and willingness to go the extra step to make customers happy. The free ice cream is a bonus. If you can, seat yourself in view of the ice cream machine. Watching people(especially children) get their ice cream can add a bit of fun – especially because it is nearly impossible to create a soft serve cone without a smile!

I just ordered delivery from Jason’s Deli and they told me that on top of the amount for the over-priced food there’s a $ 7 delivery charge. Out of curiosity, I inquired as to how much of that goes to the driver. They said«$ 1.25». So let me get this straight. A driver who has to use his own car and gas gets paid less than 30% to ship a product you’ve already made your full profit off of counting labor and taxes? Wow, man. And to think the nation is up in arms about fast food employees deserving $ 15 an hour. I’ll be tipping this poor driver $ 10 as well as handing him a carefully designed list of about eight places in the area that would pay them much more than 30%. I know you’re a corporation but this behavior is ugly even by those standards. And don’t even get me started about how the product has dropped dramatically. You’d think with making $ 5.75 off of their drivers for no additional cost to the company they could afford pickles that don’t come in a bag.

I just love the great attitudes there. I’m all about great customer service, and they are too. I’ve truly experienced this each time I was there. Most of the times my request everywhere is unorthodox, and Jason’s Deli gladly humored and accommodated me. I have rarely experienced such helpfulness, they are truly about their mission: To Make Every Customer Happy. Thank you, looking forward to the next few years when more locations open up.

This was probably the worst Jason’s Deli I have been to. We went in when the place was pretty much empty for an early lunch. I wanted a single serve salad bar(just one trip). This was added on to my husband’s sandwich as a side salad. As the salad bar tags were handed down to the person at the end of the line, he held onto one side salad and one salad bar which are the plates he pulled. I took the salad bar plate, making him confused so the manager came over asking what the problem was. We explained we ordered one salad bar and one single serve salad bar. He goes on to explain that we saved $ 3 by getting rung up as a side salad. Great! Thanks! Not what I asked for. He starts arguing over the plate that I took as I should have had a side salad plate. I said, why are you arguing over a plate, I’m going for one trip, what does it matter? He said he didn’t care so I don’t understand why he kept trying to argue for me to take the other plate. While the food was pretty standard for Jason’s, being argued at over a darn plate makes it less than desirable to return to this location… at least for salad bar…

Jason’s Deli is pretty good to dine in, but I am leaving my review based off a catering experience I had today. My office has frequent lunch meetings and most are catered. Pizza, and the rest, seem to get pretty boring after a few meetings of the same food. Jason’s was next on the list. We usually get a tray of sandwiches, salad, cookies, and chips from them, and it’s always good. They deliver(lots of places do not) and will even help you lay out the food. Anyway, if you’re stuck bringing in food for lunch, don’t go with the boring usual. Call in some Jason’s!

As I’ve stated before I think it’s silly to review chains. They’re usually a chain because they’ve done so well making amazing food that they’re all over the place. Then again, what’s Panera Bread’s excuse? I swear Panera Bread is the Radio Shack of food chains. Just DIEOFFALREADY and rid this planet of your meaningless existence. Sigh. Jason’s Deli is delicious. I give 5 stars to places that I go out of my way to dine in. Jason’s Deli on Willow Lawn is such a place. I make the drive so I can enjoy the California Club. This is how God would make a sandwich. First you skip the bread and use a buttery croissant because the French make the best food on the planet. Then you glob mayo on it, some guac, lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese, sliced turkey, and then top it off with BACON. Delicious. The Pot Pie is the best around. They even top it off with a(filo square). I’ve had the Rueben and that’s the bomb too. I don’t they serve a bad dish. The staff is Johnny on the spot too! They can be a little quirky at times but that just ads to the charm. For now, Jason’s Deli wears the CROWN for best deli sandwich in Richmond. I gladly accept challengers.

Just went to Jason’s Deli for the first time and I was very impressed. The cashier was so helpful and sweet, the table attendant(for lack of a better title) was friendly and very willing to help, and our food was all delicious. I had the ranchero wrap and a cup of southwest chicken soup, and my boyfriend had the California club with fruit. I also had a few pieces of the mini corn bread muffins. It was all delicious and I am very eager to return! Thanks guys!

Everything you could want from a lunch time salad bar. Lots and lots rough veggies and light tasty dressings. Big bar = little line, constantly restocked. I like that the veggies are seasonal. I try to eat there at least 1 out 6 times I go out to lunch. Enjoy :)

Really nice Deli menu and there’s always a special on the board. If you want to get a salad, they have a great salad bar. There’s a huge dining room and it can be packed at lunch and noisy. The food has been good the few times I’ve been here, and the free ice cream cone is a huge win! :)

I have been going to Jason’s Deli off and on since they opened here in Richmond many years ago. I am a huge fan of Deli Food, and what I like about Jason’s Deli is… they are always consistence in how they make their food or Sandwiches. Their Salad Bar is always FRESH, and you can order a particular Salad which they make or you can eat all you want from their Salad Bar. I always go for the Salad bar as the Vegetables are fresh and crisp. They have a variety of Sodas and their Own brewed Tea for Ice Tea; Sweet or Unsweetened. I go for the Unsweetened as I feel I am SWEET enough! lol I really enjoy the Deli Sandwiches. They use to sell the Sailor Sandwich, but discontinued it because of the Lack of Sales. Too bad, because if they had put it on the Menu, more people would have known about it. So, I go for my 2nd favorite which is the Reuben Sandwich. They put plenty of Pastrami and Sauerkraut between the two slices of Rye Bread. In addition, they add the Russian dressing with Swiss Cheese. Trust me when I say, you will be full when you finish or be taking the other half home. The people who work there are always friendly, and very nice. So yes, I am a fan of Jason’s Deli. The ONLY reason I am giving it 4 Stars instead of 5. I feel if you want to come to Richmond to be a Deli… you need to have The Sailor Sandwich. It is a Richmond Original Sandwich, and it should be sold here. When they use to sell the Sailor, it was really outstanding. They just failed to Market the Sandwich, which is too bad. If you get a chance, check out the photo of the Reuben I posted. I think you will agree, it looks great… but most of all, it really tasted great and it satisfied my taste buds last night. So, do not be surprise if you see me in line ordering or hanging around the Salad bar… Enjoy!

I had lunch delivered to my ofc today… Im always leery of ordering certain things for delivery since fresh hot food doesnt always arrive that way. But they Passed the test with flying colors today. i orderd hot sandwiches for 7 people, they loved them. .I ordered a chef salad. Made to order. Ordering online is so easy. I loved being able to remove what I didnt like from the salad. It came to me perfect. I ate every morsel of that darn salad. I tried blue chips and guacamole on the side. I have recently fallen in love with guac. But this guac didnt live up to the hype. They advertised it as a family recipe. Im not sure what that is but I didnt like it. Something was off with it. However, the black tea rasberry flavored tea I had was delish. I frequently order from them for work… I will continue to go there, just wont be quick to try the guacamole anymore. Someone needs to let grandma or whomever came up with that family recipe know that they need to go back in the history and revamp that recipe. :)

I love this place. I always get either the Big Joe(or whatever they’re calling it now), with its delicious focaccia bread and roasted tomatoes, or the California Club, with creamy guacamole and a flaky croissant. Get a side of fruit and it comes with some kind of sweet yogurt dipping sauce, which I didn’t like at first but now I love. I’ve also had the veggie bow tie pasta(not sure what its called) and that was pretty tasty as well. The only thing I’ve ordered that I wasn’t crazy about was the big potato. There’s not a good ratio of toppings to the actual huge potato they give you, so it ends up pretty dry at the end and Ryan C. pointed out the last time we were there that you always see them unfinished left on the table. Besides the delicious food, they have FREEICECREAM!!! Here’s a delicious tip: chop up a strawberry from your side of fruit and use it as a topping on your ice cream. They have cones or cups you can use. Sometimes they don’t have all the flavors, which is a bummer because I love the swirl! But its still free. And its still ice cream. So go!

Its a pretty big place yet feels very small with the large nearby working population. Its hard to get a parking during lunch time. The staff is very nice but doesn’t appear to be able to serve to the huge influx. They usually run out of drink glasses fast! Food is nice. My friends love their sandwiches. Being a vegetarian, my choices were limited but the bow tie pasta didn’t disappoint although it could use little more than just cheese and pasta. The tomato basil soup is fantastic. All in all great place. Try to avoid going at rush times!
