Sadly this restaurant was closed with a sign on the door. I did not get close enough to read the details. But the next close option is my #1 anyway, China City on Buford Road.

Very good sesame chicken, general tso’s and crispy beef! Add 10 minutes to whatever they tell you when you order. We have been ordering from here for at least 6 years!

Very quick delivery. The website has not been working lately. Great food and reasonable prices. They do overcharge quite a bit for their bottled water.

Great Chinese food here. The wait is a bit longer than the standard«5, 10 minutes» but it’s worth the wait. I order the shrimp and broccoli with white rice. The shrimp are cooked to perfection and the brown sauce has the perfect consistency and flavor. The interior is a bit dated a borderline grungy and kitschy but if you order ahead you won’t notice. It is clean which is a plus.

The wait was way too long for a simple order such as generals and teriyaki beef. It took an hour two different times.

This is our go to spot for good(and inexpensive!) Chinese food in Bön Air. I have been looking for decent, not even great, Chinese food in Richmond for the past few years and have finally found a place that I will keep going back to. You can’t beat the price of their lunch and dinner combination meals which average around $ 6 for egg roll or soup, and rice with your order. They even offer these deals on weekends which is unusual but awesome. Every time I’ve ordered takeout they have been putting the food from the wok into the containers right as I walk in so it is hot and freshly made. It is your standard Chinese food, but by far the best we’ve experienced in the area so far.

Placed an order for delivery. Food was extremely greasy. Also mentioned online coupon and didn’t receive the so called freebie. First and last time I’ll be ordering. Horrible first impression.

I’ve been going to Great Wall for the past 10 years, but at the end of the Summer, a new family has taken over the restaurant. Ever since the management change, prices and wait time have increased and customer service has strongly decreased. Just yesterday, I ordered $ 30 worth of food and according to the restaurants website, if you order $ 30 worth of food, you can get a large Chicken Fried Rice for free. So I call the order in and mention that I wanted the free Chicken Fried Rice that comes with the purchase. Boy did the store employee on the other end of the phone try to pretend as though he didnt understand English at that point. That was ok, I talked very slowly in trying to get him to understand what a coupon was. We saw eye to eye and I left 20 minutes later to pick up the food. I get there to pick up the food, and as always, there was someone in front of me standing at the register for 5 minutes, not having a clue what they wanted to eat. I mean its Chinese food for God Sakes, you can either choose rice, chicken, cat or dog. Its not an extensive menu like The Cheesecake Factory!!! So I get to the front of the line and pick my food up with coupon in my hand. The guy comes back out with my food and as I remind him about the coupon I had for the Free Chicken Fried Rice, an idiotic smile creeps across his face and he replies«oh I fogoo aboo the rice», «take dis 2 liter soda and I give you rice next time». I take the soda, drove back home, but said to myself«hey, I have a taste for some Chicken Fried Rice tonight». So I called the guy back, asking if it was ok if I picked up the rice in a few minutes. This guy tries to tell me that the 2 liter soda was in place of the rice and he didnt owe me anything. Now I’m not a genius by any stretch of the imagination, but how in the heck would he think a $.992 liter soda can adequately substitute for a $ 7.76 box of Chicken Fried Rice? This incident along with others over the past few months have caused me to update my review and vow never to go back to this place again.

In the world of cheap, poorly executed«Checkerboard» Chinese this place stands above the rest. I already eat here 1 – 2 times a week, but now they deliver! My fit life is over. They have all the usual suspects and do them very well, but if you try some of the other, rarer menu items you might be surprised. Last night I had the Crispy Beef. This is one of those rare items that most places don’t bother with but Great Wall does. The portion is massive, and it’s nothing but super crispy, battered beef. The flavor is great, with a slight guilty hint of oil. As per all Chinese take out restaurants, if it says Spicy it’s not. I don’t think they know the meaning of the word.

The best of a weak field of Chinese restaurants in the north Chesterfield area, at least that we’ve found. All the standards, of course, but they’re all basically good. We’re newish to the area and have ordered from a few places; this is so far the best.
