This was the perfect place to pick up a box of bagels and large serving of coffee. They provided all of the condiments for the bagels as well as the coffee. If I were in the area, I would return!

I love their bagel sandwiches, but I think this place is a bit pricey. If you are going to just get a bagel with cream cheese then it’s fine. But for breakfast I love a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel and an ice coffee which ends up being almost $ 10 and there are a lot of local, small businesses that provide the same quality for a cheaper price. They are a great place to go if you just need your bagel fix!

Love Einstein Bagels. My order here is ALWAYS wrong. Most recently on a take out order they left out an item completely, we called to say we were coming back to get it, the guy was like I’m sitting here looking at it. Ok, I don’t want the bagel and cream crease that’s been on your counter for 20 mins now. Please give me a fresh one thanks. Their coffee making is terrible. Don’t order a latte you will be sorry. If it were so close to my house I wouldn’t go to this location. Step up your customer service guys.

I am newly addicted to Einstein’s egg bagel sandwiches, so when I received an email for a «free»(with purchase) offer for their new Cracked Egg Bagel sandwich, I was planning out my lunch-break days in advance! A co-worker and I ventured out to get our free sandwich and we were expecting lines and grumpy people, but that was not the case — the staff was super welcoming and friendly despite our quest for a yummy and inexpensive lunch. We both ordered the cracked egg sandwich with bacon and we both agree, this new sandwich is AWESOME and even better than the regular egg sandwich… a new fave has been born(or cracked, oh-yes-I-did just use a dad joke!). So if you are a bagel lover, I recommend you check out Einstein and try one of their egg sandwiches. Note, they make them all day so you can have them for lunch and they will keep you going! Cheers!

Great breakfast place. Strong coffee, turkey sausage-egg-cheese pumpernickel bagel always hits the right spot!

You know that place that you pass all the time and note that you’ll try? That’s this place for me, I finally stopped. I know from experience that the bagels themselves are amazing and fresh but I’ve never had a sandwich. I tried a lox bagel which pulled me in immediately. The photo on the menu looked so delightful that I just had to have it. It was tasty as all get out but my only complaint is that there could have been more ingredients on it. There was plenty of shmear but very little of everything else. It was still tasty and I was satisfied with a cup of Melvin’s Dark. That was also very fresh. A plus is that the dinning area was immaculately clean and bright. The staff were super friendly. I’d totally go back.

Came in on at Saturday a 1pm for lunch. They were out of all salads, most of their sandwiches, and a majority of bagels(even plain)!!! Not sure how they are going to make it through the weekend but we finally had to ask«what do you have available» so that we could order as everything was out.

I’m giving 3 stars not because of food taste if they can get order correct, but because of customer service. I’ve been to all the Einstein locations in RVA and this is by far the worse in taking orders and then getting the orders correct. I go back because it’s quick and easy, but infrequently. It’s only when there is no other choices to fit into schedule. Last visit the order taker was frustrated with me because I changed my mind. Then I looked down at the bagels to see what was available and they were labeled wrong. He rolled his eyes when I asked if they had a particular bagel because I didn’t see it right away. Then, didn’t answer my question. There was no one behind me; however, he wanted to speed it along. He read my order back and still got it wrong. I’ll likely need to go back, but will drive further more often to avoid Einsteins service or lack there of. Management should really take pride in their business more and require better customer service. Lots more is heading to Bön Air for choices.

Very overpriced breakfast sandwiches for what you get. The bagels are very dinky and it cost $ 4.85 for a sausage egg and cheese that seems very processed from the egg to the sausage. Coffee was decent but that’s about it

Decent bagels. Prices are a little high but it’s tough to find a decent bagel Southside so it’s worth it. Staff was friendly.

Far overpriced for the quality you receive. I ordered the Pumpkin Bagel with Pumpkin Shmear? but received an everything bagel with egg and cheese instead. The guy said«Mos» I said«Mos right?» and he confirmed. When I returned home and went to dive into what I thought would be a guilty sweet morning I was terribly upset to find the opposite. Instead, the bagel I received was horrible and flavorless. To make things worse I also ordered the Spicy Wrap. There is NOTHING spicy about this wrap. It tastes as bland as plain eggs. This place is a bust and typical to my style I’ll plead you to go to somewhere that is locally owned and employed by people that care.

We eat here often enough since its convenient to home and the gym… Also, they have good solid food, and most of the time the employees are quite nice. Today I ordered an asparagus mushroom and Swiss egg white sandwich which is served on a thin bagel… I don’t like a thin bagel, instead I wanted it on the spinach florentine… And I always order it this way… Today I was told I couldn’t do that… What? An employee told me I couldn’t have what I wanted because«he didn’t make up the rules…» Or more to the point he didn’t know there was an upcharge. But he flat out told me I couldn’t have it, so I started to leave and all of a sudden he was like«oh we can do it its not worth the hassle…» Like he was doing me a favor… Sometime I wonder who teaches these people customer service… The sandwich was great as always. I’ll be back…

employees are friendly, sometimes overly so. food seems to have gone downhill in the past year. and gotten more expensive. i do like that they have healthy options though.
