Chippenham Hospital

I had my daughter here in March 2014 and I loved the service from the doctor who delivered her. He made me feel very comfortable and assuring I was going to do just fine. The nurses listened to my needs, well one nurse who was a little mean, she looked like she has been working there since forever. But overall my experience was not bad at all. Plus we got snowed in so my husband and mother was able to stay overnight with me, which was a plus.

Absolutely terrible experience here. My husband has been terribly sick and has been to this hospital twice within the past week. They hardly looked at him the first time and sent him off with penicillin 250 mg, they told him he should been feeling good enough to go back to work the next day. He wasn’t. He got work and the medication caused him to begin to vomit. Meanwhile his temp is at 103 and can’t break it so he goes back a SECOND time two days later. They prescribed him to the SAME MEDICATION! HES STILL SICK AND GETTING WORSE! So I called them back and told them that he needs a stronger medication. I spoke with one woman who then transferred me to a nurse who then transferred me to a doctor (after explaining my situation 3 times) the doctor told me she can write a proscription for a ZPak for him but I’d have to pick it up, no problem. I told her I’m coming to get it. When I got there the nurses in the ER treated me terribly and told me NO ONE spoke with me. Am I crazy?
