Chariho Furniture

Called on a Friday evening looking for a lift chair. They stayed late to finish up the order for us and we had the chair by Saturday morning. The salesman was very helpful and patient with us and the delivery men were on time and courteous. The price was good too. Cheaper than Jordan’s furniture by a lot. Comparable in price to Bob’s Discount Furniture, but feels well made. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the market.

Go there, look at beautiful furniture and then ORDER ON-​LINE! Sales people not to be trusted! First problem a few years ago with bedding and store didn’t even want to hear complaint. They made no attempt to fix problem, surface of mattress ripped up with only minor cleaning. On 1÷27÷13, wife put deposit on piece of furniture, then on 1÷28÷13 she receives a card in the mail from them stating she is one of their «perfered customers» offering $ 100 gift card. Called the next day to see if our sale would be eligible for this offer. At first the sales lady said it would and then called back and said manager said «no, although not yet picked up the special was for February and we bought it in Jan!» needless to say we were disappointed! On ½/​13 I went back to the store to have our deposit returned. Same sales lady there, also owner there. Owner denied telling sales lady we couldn’t take part in special sale! Someone was lying! Also since we didn’t feel «perfered» I told owner to take us off their mailing list! He said «I will be sure to!» No apology! What a way to run a business. On oh by the way we found the exact piece on-​line for $ 200 less delivered than their $ 700 asking price!

If you’re looking for discount furniture that’s gonna last you a few years (maybe), then don’t even bother with Chariho.
This place is the real deal. Quality AMERICAN-​MADE furniture at realistic prices. They run frequent sales and promotions and also have a Clearance building.
The place is chock full of mostly casual or traditional style furniture (with some funky and modern pieces thrown in here and there). Plus a huge selection of upholstery fabrics to choose from if you want to customize your piece (we were hoping to find something to take home with us today).
Denise helped us and was extremely knowledgeable about helping us find just the right easy chair. We had it narrowed down to 2 choices and then walked over to the clearance building and there it was — a gorgeous leather club chair for under $ 1,000. Beautifully made and heavy. Sold.
