I came in with my toddler and we were welcomed warmly with expert assistance. We got crank bike for my toddler. He had been using the bike scooter and was really good at balancing wile riding so it’s time to upgrade. It had been a while since I had a bike. I wanted something I could rally and just chill on as well. I got just that with the Rockhopper from Specialized. Super light and I love the 29″ tires. Also I got a great helmet. We had to get the bikes home so we got the Bones 3 to mount to the back of my Hatchback car. Super happy with there great prices and friendly dedicated service. The reason I can into the store was they had a poster up for«Othello» a local theatre production from«The Rude Mechanicals». Goes to show the stores who support local theatre and arts are also supported by the community in turn. I would come here to get anything else that has to do with bicycles. I may go buy a unicycle later. I asked for a deal and I was giving a deal as well. Very honest folks here.

Aaron is the man! Always helpful when you walk in the door. He has worked there for probably 20 years now and still has a smile on his face. Great products that aren’t too expensive for a mom and pop shop. I will continue to frequent this shop as I have for the last 25 years.

They are so helpful here; I am forever taking my grandsons’ small bikes in for one thing or another, and most of the time it’s free: tires, raising the seats, fixing handlebars – the owner/manager is so nice and usually does whatever I need right on the spot.

Poor, poor service. If they tell you overnight, expect four days. If they tell you three days, expect a week. If they tell you a week, expect two weeks. Five visits, all following suit. Give reasonable estimates, or you’ll be out of business. Their work has been clearly rushed. Twice I paid for a cleaning/full tune and came up with brakes that were loose and obviously botched cleaning job. Going somewhere else, and I suggest other Richland residents to do the same.

I do agree that they need to work on there«look» but i have to admit that I care about the customer service a lot more and Markee’s has it. I went in there to have my tube and tire taken off my old bike rim(which was really stuck on) and onto my new one the worker was fast, knowable, and such a nice guy. He didn’t even charge me for the switch. I was very pleased. I have become a regular know and enjoy their great customer service every time!

After a 13 year hiatus, I’m a bike rider again. Not just any bike rider, a mountain biker. A mountain biker in a land with no mountains and lots of goat’s heads. I’ll make do. So, to get myself acclimated to my new status, I went to the closest bike shop in my neighborhood. I thought it was Richland Bike & Fitness, but now it’s Markee’s Cycling Center. I don’t know if the ownership changed recently, but the storefront is farely non-descript. I walked inside, and it felt like this place wasn’t really open for business. Yes, there were lots of bikes in the middle of the store, but the store just had that«gutted» feeling. Their accessory section was a wee bit lackluster, or maybe they were going for a minimalistic look. I’ll give this place the benefit of the doubt since they might be new. The staff was nice, and asked for help when I snooped around, but for now the verdict is still out.
