I’ve been going to this place for years, most recently 34 times a month. It’s awesome, reminds me of all the pizza inns when I was a kid. The pizza is great nice salad bar but the wait staff is phenomenal. Our regular waiter is fantastic, always I’ve step ahead of us. When he went on vacation that was the first thing my daughter’s noticed. Oh don’t get me wrong the other one is great too. Stop by and grab a slice.

I just had, hands down, the most bizarre customer service experience of my life. It began very well — the guy who took my phone order was incredibly polite, explaining the specials after I asked, so I was looking forward to a similar experience when I picked up my order. I walked into the restaurant, busy workers were behind the counter and the manager was at the register. I, on the phone with my sister, stood opposite of «Mike the manager», listening to her tell me a story about my neice. My futile attempts to make eye-contact with Mike became awkward as a minute or two passed, I, responding to my sister with a «really?» or an «oh how cute» while waiting for him to acknowledge my presence. A waitress came to the register and Mike helped her. I glanced his way several times more. Still, nothing. Finally, I spoke up: «Hi, I’m picking up a pizza for Tamara». Mike points to a sign on the wall which reads(something like) «In order to give good customer service we will not help customers who are on the phone». For a split second, I thought about ending my call. But wait, *I’m* the customer, here. It’s Friday evening and I’m talking to my sister, who lives a state away. She’s usually busy with 3 small kids and I don’t get a peaceful conversation with her often. Usually, it’s an argument over Legos between my nephews or my neice carrying the dog through the house, but«Mike the manager» of a hole in the wall pizza joint wants to be my conversation killjoy? How many times have I patronized a pizza place on a Friday evening where a person is working the register, simutaneously taking phone orders and courteously serving me take-out? I think nothing of that! I smiled and replied to Mike, «are you serious?». Again, he silently points to the sign on the wall. I said«I’m picking up an order for Tamara and I’m speaking to my sister» Mind you, I wasn’t being loud and obnoxious, I’m very capable of cheerfully and polietly conversing with another, while temporarily pausing my phone conversation. Additionally, I was the *only* customer to be seen, it was before 6pm, so my call wasn’t slowing down service for anyone except me. Mike replies, «it’s rude», as he picks up my pizzas from the shelf. «I should walk out and let you eat those pizzas, but my kids are home waiting for dinner». Mike glares at me and says, «that would be fine». «This is a pizza place, not a bank or a courthouse… It’s Friday night. I can still be nice and pick up my order while I’m on the phone», I reminded him, in a quietly sarcastic tone. I signed my receipt as I told him«I’ll be leaving a review of this experience on Unilocal, you know?»… Mike the manager replies, «Go right ahead. You’re on the phone and you’re rude.» I said«no, Mike, you’re rude» and I walked out with my dinner. I should’ve left it for him to pay and picked up a nasty«hot and ready» on my way home. According to his sign, Mike was failing to provide«good customer service» because *I* was on the phone. The pizza was just ok at best. Very salty. I, most definitely, will NOT be back.

This place made me sick. The pizza looked like it had been sitting there for hours and everything I tried was very salty.

Love this location because it’s one of the only(if not the only) Pizza Inns in the area that is still decorated in the ‘old style’. Brings back a flood of memories eating here on weekends with my dad growing up, although we ate at a different location the look is still very similar. In addition to the old style charm and nostalgia the pizza and service is top notch! I also love this location because unlike some places where they have odd buffet days/hours this places has it everyday so you don’t have to keep track of what day it is if you’re in the mood for pizza!

We called this Pizza Inn while staying in a hotel near by and ask what the hours were. The girl on the phone and said we close at 10 but if you would like to order we would be glad to take it. SHOCKING!!! It’s very rare anyone wants to service someone so close to closing time. Our delivery guy came to our door after his closing time and was extremely plesant. He was very nice and courteous and made sure our pizza was correct. I am simply blown away with the customer service we received on June 18th at 9:45 pm. I’m sadden I didn’t get the names of these people because they definatley deserve a pat on the back. Great customer service and even better pizza. Thank you Pizza Inn for hiring and teaching your staff.

Love this place… great customer service, your drink rarely is left empty. Buffet area is always replenished, they will make just about anything you want and put it in the buffet. 2 tv’s great for large groups. Salad bar is pretty decent, the offer chili/soup and deserts. They have a pizza version of the pineapple upside down cake that’s so good. Inexpensive, but great!

I’ve been going to this Pizza Inn for over a decade and plan to return for many more decades to come. The staff are always so accomodating and make sure there are enough vegetarian options on the buffet. Don’t let the relaxed look /demeanor of the wait staff fool you; they keep your drinks full and the table clear by removing empty plates. The manager is very personable and remembers us. Pizza is great, but this Pizza Inn’s pizza is the greatest! The wacky pizzas on the buffet like the omlet or cheeseburger(with pickles and mustard!) are such fun to try without making the commitment of buying an entire pizza. Oh yea, and even though they sound weird, they’re quite tasty. This restaurant is BYOB, but with the number of cops patrolling Richland Hills, I wouldn’t risk even a sip of beer. The pièce de résistance? A seated Pac-Man arcade game.

Although I am a pizza snob, sometimes I’m in the mood for the other stuff. This place makes it worth it. LOCATION: In Richland Hills(Not NORTH Richland Hills, just Richland Hills) so there’s a lot of shall we say«bumpkins» out here. Or as I like to call all of them — Cletus. Beware of cops out here and watch your speed. This whole town is a speed trap as I bet it’s a significant source of their revenue. STAFF: Very, very, very nice and down to earth. Let me stay after buffet hours and still made me a custom pizza with my choice of toppings. Treat them well and they’ll treat you well.(I make it a point to tip them extra for custom pizzas) FOOD: This is a buffet joint meaning the pizza is either fresh or stale from the heat lamps. I usually ask for something fresh and custom made like one of of their«Bacon Cheeseburger» pizzas — seriously when was the last time you had a pizza with bacon, two cheese types, pickles, hamburger and mustard? Try it. Otherwise buffalo chicken is always good. They have other stuff on the side as well(cheap generic salad mix mostly, but occasionally something good like chili or potato soup also) ENVIRONMENT: As said, due to the city, some people come in that look like stand ins from the Dukes of Hazard, and their cleanliness is of concern to me on account of touching the same pizza slice server on the buffet table they do. Otherwise this is a sit down joint out of the 80s. Also, they have two TVs, but no cable or satellite feed. Keep that in mind if you wanted to watch«the game» and have pizza. I don’t always come out this way, but when I do, I’ll be back here for sure.

Let me begin by saying we used to go to this location in high school after the football games. That means we have been patrons, on and off for over 30 years… at the SAME location! They still have a Pac-Man! Score for nostalga! On to the food. We chose the buffet because there was a bunch of us and everyone wanted something different and who the heck wants to order 10 pizzas? not me. The salad bar was okay. We would have liked if the dressing had been labled but whatever. Not a lot of topping choices and the potato salad looked scarey. The pizza was good if you got it when they first brought it out. They would make whatever you wanted to put on the buffet so that worked out well. There was soup but no one tried it. The dessert pizza were tasty when they were fresh as well. Don’t skip the peach pizza, different and good! The only real negative thing was when we first walked in. We had not even all gotten in the door yet, much less to our table yet when the girl was asking for our drink order. Huh? I don’t know, can I sit down first? Overall this is a fine place for a cheap pizza. It’s clean and the staff are usually helpful.
