I walked in and looked at the buffet for $ 13 and was not impressed; so I left without eating.

If you love great Persian food with the shittiest service on the planet, then this is the place for you! I’ve been here with my family several times and each time the experience was decent, the food was great, but the wait staff for the most part is pretty incompetent. The last time we went though was a doozy! It was my grandfather’s birthday, and my grandmother decided to have a private party there. First of all, she invited 60 guests, which only 57 made it, but the owner was determined to charge her for 75 guests. Then, they had agreed upon charging $ 15/person, the owner decided to go back on his word and wanted to charge $ 25/person. To say the least, I’m never setting foot back in that establishment again. If you are in the mood for being taken advantage of, then have at it, otherwise, you’ve been warned.

Loved the lunch buffet! Really delivers on taste. Especially the entrée stews were packed with flavor. I wish their desserts were better. My coconut cake was dry and the rice pudding wasn’t dazzling. Definitely coming back for the appetizers and main course though!

I had lunch today and wanted to write a review soon before I forget something, which always happen! The market is large, all you can dream of Persian, Arab and some Turkish products. Very large selection of olives, and less of the dried fruits and nuts. Breads, cheeses, halal meat… they got you covered in all that. It is impressively clean and organized, huge points for that! Now I saw a review saying they have rose water ice cream and I didn’t see it! The frozen isle was the only one I didn’t go thru… I really didn’t know they had the buffet, was thinking of some koobideh wrap or a plate. but they have a large selection so I didn’t even bother to ask for a menu. I got a soup with red beans that was awesome. It has a kick on it, something spicy, excellent! I also liked the salads, one with tomatoes, cheese and cucumbers(fatoush, probably?) very fresh as all other options. Interesting to me was their version of tabouhle. It had dill on it, with parsley and wheat, I guess. Not the regular thin bulgur type I am used to, but very good. Then the rices, one the regular Persian with saffron and the other with dill and what seemed to me, fennel. The kabobs, koobideh and chicken are superb! I also loved the vegetables medley, very simple dish and very flavorful. I tried the gorhmet sabzi, little bummed they didn’t have the badenjan which is my favorite. I didn’t try the salmon and other fish stew, since fish other then sushi is not my thing. It is very well executed, flavorful food. The small bump: even though everything is super fresh, it was not very hot, other than that, great! Oh they have the rice pudding with saffron and rose water that’s perfect and also the yogurt dips(mas-o-masir and other I don’t know the name but was not mas-o-khiar, which is my favorite). The staff is super nice, the owner came to the table and was very nice too. As the store, the restaurant is spotless clean! I will go back, next time hopefully with a group.

First time here very well organized clean, huge selection. Very friendly staff. Had many things I couldn’t find the other stores and the price was right, seems I’ll will definitely be back.

The cheese case is worth the trip. Any of the fetas are delicious; but I took the Iranian feta home and at less than $ 5/lb. it’s an unbelievable bargain. Creamy and unctuous, I’ll drive 30 miles to buy it again!

Great Buffet! It has all of the Persian food your mom makes you at one time. Everything was delicious! The ghameh badamjoon was sweeter than what I usually like but everyone else loved it. You just need to make sure to wave down wait staff for a drink, I don’t think servers have specific tables. My go to restaurant when I don’t want to cook my own Persian food. The chicken kabob was so tender and had alot of flavor. Best chicken kabob in Dallas that I have found so far! Love going there with my friends and family!

Awesome Persian buffet, decent price compared to other buffets in area. Only thing I wish was self-service for drinks. It’s an all-day buffet and I’d like to get my own drinks rather than wait for the waiter — esp when it gets busy.

Great service, great food. As a Persian I recommend them. Love the market next door as well. Lots of stuff I can’t find in regular grocery stores. Highly recommend it if you want good, real Persian food.

The Buffett was amazing. The food was fresh and naan was delicious. The salmon was well cook and the meats were too good. The servers were very attentive and the owner greeted us many times throughout our meal. For Sunday lunch, it was $ 13 and well worth the money! After our meal, we went next door to the family owned market full of Mediterranean and Persian baked good and produce. We bought the Sangak, two pieces of very large naan for $ 5!

Pretty nice Mediterranean grocery store with some unique products. It’s clean and organized. The meat section is small but good cut of meat. There’s also a dessert section with some good looking pastries! You can buy salmon clavier here as well that’s usually not found in a small Mediterranean stores.

We had a party of 12 with reservations for a Saturday. We were greeted very warmly and graciously by the owner and his staff, the restaurant was busy, yet they always had time to accommodate our requests, which at times were many. The buffet was Persian and beyond delicious. There was enough variety in the dishes to satisfy our vegetarian guests as well. We stayed until way after 10 enjoying the DJ and we also enjoyed the beautiful belly dancer who spent quite a bit of time dancing with our guests at the table. We have reservations this Saturday to return with 10 guests. Of all the Persian restaurants in the Dallas area, this is the best and we will always choose it over the others. You cannot go wrong if you love Persian food and superb and welcoming service. Above it keeps saying I gave it 3 stars… WRONG Unilocal, I gave them 5STARS.

Love this Mediterranean supermarket! Love the desserts area & almond«bar» selection! Healthy snacks galore! Good variety of reasonably priced items like a huge bottle of extra virgin olive oil for less than $ 4! Halal meats in the back, huge freezer section for ice creams like rose n cardamom flavor! Definitely going back!

Such a huge fan. Great food, cheap produce, decent butcher. Love it. Also, if you really talk to the butcher he’ll give you really good advice.

This place is pretty great and whilst they do sell some Mediterranean goods its mostly NOT Mediterranean its Persian. Iran does not border the Mediterranean at all. Middle Eastern is not synonymous with Mediterranean.

This is for the Buffet only. We tried this place on Saturday night as a recommendation of a friend. I called beforehand and they said it was 12.98 before 7 and after 7 it’s 14.99. Ok no problem. We got there at 6:30. There was only 1 other table. Food at the buffet was hot but not fresh which I can understand since there wasn’t anyone else in the restaurant. We enjoyed the chicken stew and the rice was good. The DJ started playing at 7 and after 7 the restaurant became more crowded. We finished eating around 7:45 and asked for the check. They charged us 14.99 per person. They said we had to and should have paid before 7 to get the 12.98 price. I never heard of that. Why didn’t they start our tab when we got there? Ok food. Dissapointed in the service. We won’t be bck to eat there.

By decree from my Persian mother, since we were spending the weekend in Dallas, we were told to stop by Shahrzad to grab a few things, as we really don’t have many markets like this in Fort Worth. For anyone interested in Persian/Turkish/Arabic/Mediterranean cuisine, this place has quite the selection of goods in their market, so it is worth checking out. Fresh bread baked daily as well. Overall, very nice selection in the market and we were able to find everything that we needed. We had a big breakfast so weren’t quite hungry, but the lunch buffet they have set up next door is pretty nice too. Large area with several options — chicken kabob, kubideh, two types of rice, and a few other for about ten bucks. It was a bit towards the end of the lunch rush, but the food was still pretty solid. For our next trip I would like to try items off their normal menu and/or some of the shawarma and gyros that the other reviewers mentioned.

Finally! They’ve had the sign up for month but have not been open. I went in today and had a fantastic Shawarma made of beef & lamb meat. They rolled it into a pita really well, equally distributing the tasty blend of content throughout. They even put some diced pickles in it, that gave it nice sour note. There are a lot of interesting fresh salads available & they have some seating too. They sell all kinds of groceries inside, but if you’re a regular American like me, don’t count on doing your weekly groceries there. Probably good to look through the isles for an excotic item when you feel like trying something new. I can’t wait to try their chicken wrap on my next trip
