Solid meal — I had the chicken phở which was pretty good especially when you’re feeling under the weather. The spring rolls were excellent — great pork flavor and perfectly crispy. My friend had the chicken curry with noodles and it had a nice spice to it. Looking forward to trying more dishes here.

This is by far the best Phở I’ve ever had. So flavor-able the meat taste like real meat. The restaurant has an awesome ambience, nice music and really clean! Some Vietnamese restaurants have a slight odor but this one didn’t. The service is awesome they know how to take care you. I’ll will be back here again.

This place is conveniently located right off the freeway in a strip mall. The parking lot is small, but it was no problem finding parking. The interior is not small, but not huge either and we had our pick of tables on a Sunday night. there were a good amount of white people eating here and English is spoken well. We had the usual phở tai and goi cuon. They were both excellent. First off, the portion sizes were nice and big and the broth rich and had minimal oil and fat. The ratio of veggies to meat and vermicelli inside the goi cuon was good too. I didn’t realize they sold sandwiches here until seeing some of the pictures in other reviews, but I would like to give those a try at some point. We will be back!

I ate here with my brother and ordered the vegan phở. It was delicious! The broth was amazing and flavorful. The portion was large and I could not even finish the entire bowl.

This place has a high rating on Unilocal because mostly white people use Unilocal and Im sorry but white people idea of good phở means usually means it’s not good phở. Also pro tip go in the restaurant and if you don’t see a single asian person eating there you better believe you’re paying $ 9+Tax for a bowl of msg soup. Lol don’t forget the vermicelli and chopped eggrolls for $ 8. Their servers kept trying to get us to order their ripoff appetizers, probably to squeeze another $ 5 out for two eggrolls. Haha, pass. 1. read catering to the american taste 2.read ripping off non asians cause Viet people sure as hell would know better than to eat here It’s 9 freaking dollars for a normal bowl of phở. It’s SIXDOLLARS for BANHMI. Who the hell thinks $ 6 is cheap for banh mi? You don’t know anything, please stop misleading people. I KNOW this place caters to the unrefined palate because when they brought out herb and lime plate it had TWODINKYSPRIGS of rau thom(FORTWOLARGEBOWLSOFPHO!!!), because they know you don’t know how to use it properly and won’t ask for more. You use that much for one child’s bowl! This is like going to panda express and expecting real chinese food. Tldr: Please refer to my succinct review of Phở is For Lovers, thank you.

I love the traditional Vietnamese food at this restaurant. Servings are big and everything taste delicious. Their prices are hard to beat. A great family owned restaurant. Check it out sometimes.

One of the best phở restaurants I’ve tried in Dallas and great service! Food was delicious and fresh! The phở and BBH has so much flavor. And this is the best place to get egg rolls!!!

My experience at this place was an excellent one, I found it searching on Unilocal for some Phở, I can see why other helpers gave it good reviews, the food was great and so was the service, I’ll definitely be back again.

I couldn’t wait to go to this restaurant, after reading so many good reviews. After a looooong day I did, by myself. It is a family owned, not a fancy-at-all kind of place. Very clean, very inexpensive and lots to choose from. I ordered a small bowl of Phở with steak and flank, very good. Clear broth, nice amount of meat over the pasta. I would have more of the vegetables that comes with it, though. Got a tiny portion. Price wise it is super affordable– except for the bahn mi. Or it is just me since I get them for about $ 4 near my house. Other than that, average as other Vietnamese restaurants. Will come back soon, want to try some rolls and curries. Heard they are the best!

Talk about an inexpensive dinner choice. This was very much worth the drive from downtown for a very memorable meal. Extensive menu with all of the traditional Vietnamese options. I went with the phở and was not disappointed. It had a rich broth that was reminiscent of some of the best street food I experienced in Hanoi. Here’s the best part — a woman about the age of my mother came out to check on our table. She had bright purple hair and was a total blast! Her service was spot on, she was genuinely interested in our dining experience, and even gave us some recommendations of off menu secrets(let’s just say they have some amazing secret curry dishes). This was an unexpected delight. Nothing fancy but great food, reasonable prices, and a staff that makes you feel at home.

This place hits the spot when I’m craving Phở! The other entrees are good too! I went in for lunch with my friend who is picky eater … And she loved it! I usually get take out, but the dining room is quite nice, friendly staff and you can tell the food is cooked with love!

Went here for lunch and I’ll be back for sure. The atmosphere was relaxed and chill unlike almost every other Phở place I’ve been. Sade was playing in the background. Egg rolls were tasty and crispy. Bun was mostly fresh and pickled vegetables with a little noodle and great savory meat.

Had a wonderful lunch! The spring rolls were perfect! A LOT of places do not add the roast beef or place a sliver that you can hardly taste. This roll balanced out the flavors of all of the ingredients and more closely resembles the recipes found in authentic Vietnamese cookbooks. I tried one of the house specialties: lemongrass beef. It was spectacular! Lots of beef, perfectly cooked, with lots of lemongrass flavor. The service for lunch was prompt as they weren’t that busy. I have only eaten here once, but plan to come back. So far, highly recommended!

I sit down at Phở Troung. Waiter«hello what are you in the mood for?» Me «what do you recommend?» .waiter«can I surprise you?» Yes. I HATE ordering. I wish I lived in the old west and just order«whiskey and a steak» Anyway he brought me beef bun and it was fantastic, even comped me spring rolls. I’ve eaten here several times and it’s always fresh and delicious and the people are great. Free wifi also.

Unilocal led us astray. We came here for lunch on a weekday and ordered a bowl of basic phở(the #1) and beef bahn mi. First, there is definitely something wrong with the meat here. It does not taste fresh and is way too chewy, even the pieces in the phở. My bahn mi meat tasted like it was a day away from spoiling. Second, the bahn mi had way too much butter on it, it was literally squirting out from the other end when I took a bite. Third, there was something about the broth that wasn’t quite right. This might be personal taste, but I think there is too much star anise. Not holding this against this place, but just FYI. So, not coming back here, mostly because of the low quality meat. We were still hungry after lunch because we didn’t even come close to finishing our meal.

One of the few Vietnamese places in DFW with seafood phở(phở hai san) consisting of crab, squid, fish balls, and shrimp. It was average though. Clean place, friendly service, and large menu. Prices are $ 9 — $ 12 for the most part, with some cheaper items like the sandwiches(banh mi) going for $ 6. The food was fresh and the other plates looked good. I’ll have to come back to try the other offerings.

This is my favorite place for phở in Dallas. They give very generous portions and their extra large portion size is no joke. I eat a lot and I was barely able to finish mine when I ordered the first time. I stick with the large size one now. Their crispy pork eggrolls are also scrumptious. The restaurant is clean and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. My girlfriend was sick the last 2 times we went and our waiter went out of his way to help her. This place is a drive for me since I live near uptown Dallas but I still make the trip on a regular basis since it’s so good.

Good first experience for late lunch on a Sunday. About $ 8 for medium Phở Brisket: tasty, hot, big serving! Hadn’t had Vietnamese food in YEARS… so when my bowl came, I grabbed the bottle of red sauce(thinking this was the«add sweet taste») and way over-spiced my meal… oops. Location is close to my office, so will probably return on a weekday… and lay off the spices!
