Thin floors and walls! If you have a dog, i would recommend living on the first floor only… we have an 11 pound terrier. Our downstairs neighbor has made numerous noise complaints on us, including calling the police on us TWICE. Both times, we had to get out of bed to an officer pounding on our door and apologizing for waking us up. They both said they stood outside of our door and heard nothing(because we were in bed). We make a very major effort to keep the dog from running around after ten pm. Today, we received an official letter from management saying if it happens again we will be fined $ 250 each time. These complaints are completely bogus and our management is punishing us for their poor construction and thin walls/floors. I can hear our upstairs neighbor when he is peeing, we can hear his children running and playing and screaming and crying all the time. Some younger people live across the way from us and are frequently loud and obnoxious on their balcony. I’ve watched them down on the sidewalk throwing up into the bushes because they were so drunk. We did not see the police show up for a noise complaint for that. We frequently are disturbed by noise from our neighbors, but we don’t complain because that’s part of living in an apartment. Also, no one picks up after their pet so every where you walk there is dog poop. The staff is nice and friendly, but not great at communication. We had to go to the office to get our fabs and the gate code to the pool. They put letters on all of our doors making us take our door mats inside saying they would be bringing around greenvue mats for all of us that friday. It has now been a week and still no mats. They told us there would be couches in the breezeways for each building, still none. They said the gates to get into each building would be locked and we’d use the fab to get in… still aren’t locked after 8 months. We have lived here since May and we can’t wait until our lease is up so we don’t have to deal with this anymore.
