The food here is great! Everything was fresh and tasty. The service was very good. My wife and I really like their raw oysters, only $ 6.95 during happy hour between 3 – 7 :)) we love it here and we are coming back again next week to try other stuff. Can’t wait!

This place was high in price crawfish was over priced i can’t complain they were small but this is January chances of me coming back is 0 im tired of all these places opening an calming thy can cook crawfish take crawfish out your mouth

Food is aways good, service is always friendly. My family enjoys coming here. We had the fried pickles and their actually Spears which were awesome. The shrimp cocktail was would earful.

Fried pickles were great. Had the shrimp, cocumut shrimp and crawfish. All good. Hamburger had no flavor. Overall good place

Solid place for fried seafood! Friend described it as seafood comfort food and I was confused until we started eating! You Order at the counter and then seat yourself. My friend got the salmon with veggies and said it was really good. I got the fried catfish po’boy! Did not disappoint! The fried catfish was seasoned perfectly and it was not dry at all. The bread was amazing and reminiscent of wahoo’s fish sandwich bread, if you’ve ever had it.
Decorated with a very homey feel, and tvs playing sports games are always a plus. Service was great :) ample parking and you pay on your way out the door. Will definitely return!

I had the shrimp cocktail, delicious. I had shrimp tacos, without the veggies and rice. Delicious. I had a Coronita, just perfect. Strong. The way I like it. Although everything was great including the atmosphere, I was extremely disappointed they ran out of oysters. The girl said they had a very busy day. We showed up about 8pm. My boyfriend was not as satisfied with his meal. He had fish and shrimp. Overall, I would definitely go back.

I came here for lunch because i was craving cajun food and this place had a spectacular rating. Dont be fooled ppl. My coworker order a catfish and he told me that it wasnt even real catfish but surimi. I ordered oystered and cheviche. oyster was ok and i was waiting for cheviche that never came out. and my co wroker that complained about fake carltfish never got his french fries. The worst place i ever ended up trusting Unilocal 4 star rating.

Food (*** out of *****); Fried fish is normal fried fish, nothing special. Po boy sandwich is good, but it does not use the crusty French baguettes. It uses a small bun that is just a small normal loaf of white bread for the sandwich. They serve medium size gulf oysters.
Service (*** out of *****); you order at the counter and pay at the cashier. There is no waiter, but a nice person will bring out your food, bring your drink and take away your dirty dishes.
Atmosphere (*** out of *****); A plain place with the décor kinda like an afterthought. But that’s ok. You’re only there for the food.
Conclusion (*** out of *****); The oysters are very fresh and of decent size, so the price is a good deal. They have happy hour beer specials. They have a Hispanic clientele so a Futbol game is always on their TV. It’s a good place to go for cheap beers and decent seafood at a good price, especially if you like Futbol.

Showed up here with a friend who recommended it, outside it has all Cantonese signs so seems it is asian owned as it is kinda in China Town. Met the owners and they are 2 brothers i believe who are South American. 5 star rating on the food and service, you walk up and order and wait for the food to show up. We had Oyesters which were fresh, along with frest cut fries, Crevice and shrimp. Everything was fresh along with great service, go out and enjoy yourself, these guys are doing a great job.

My girlfriend asked me late one night if I wanted to eat fried catfish at a place directly below Kirin Court. I thought this would be some fishy (harhar) Asian place but I was surprised to find that it’s like a sports bar/​restaurant that serves kickass seafood. We eventually did go one night for happy hour. Beer was really cheap, with $ 2 drafts I believe, and oysters were half off. I don’t eat raw food but my girlfriend attested that they were good. I got the fried catfish with fries and they were excellent. The catfish tasted pretty much exactly like the ones from Aw/​Big Shucks (they’re connected because of a former employee?) with the perfect ratio between fish/​breading. The fries were wedge style but were very crispy. Service was also really friendly and attentive. Overall a great, rather hidden gem with tasty seafood.

Tilapia lunch special was great; good value for the portion of food. Fish and seafood were all fresh and tasty. Definitely recommended if you are in the area!

Got the shrimp cocktail to go since I was craving it and it was delicious! Good texture, good flavor, and great portions, they were very generous with thier crackers– there were about 15 –20 packages. I also got a pound of the shrimp since I like boiling crab a lot (not sure if there are any in the area). It was good but not that memorable.
I’ll probably stop by if I’m in the area again. :)

I wanted to go somewhere with a dog friendly patio and this place happens to have a little one. I always see this place when I go get dim sum on the weekends for lunch, but of course it’s always dead at that time. It definitely wasn’t dead on a Saturday night though. I love seafood so I’m always down to try new places and this one had great reviews.
Between three people, we shared 2lbs of snow crab legs, a two piece fried catfish and four piece fried oyster basket, fries, and a dozen oysters. Everything tasted delicious and the service was fast and friendly. The snow crab legs were a bigger portion than I expected and was juicy and flavorful. Though I did have a case of food coma after all that buttery sauce. Fried stuff was good, not too greasy or that old oil taste and just enough batter. Oysters were fresh and decent sized.
The restaurant is like most oyster bars, based on an honor system where you order up front and pay after. I’ll be back since it’s close to home, has good food, great service and large portion sizes!

I never knew that this place serves good food and has good customer service. Me and my friends were looking for a seafood menu and we accidentally found this in Unilocal!There’s no doubt why a lot of Unilocalers gave good reviews and 4 – 5 star rating for Fish N Tails!
From the name itself, we got a lot of seafood dishes and we just can’t get enough, we had to order another batch! The serving per meal is quite a lot and that’s a plus points to this lovely place!
The waiters were also friendly and nice to us.
I definitely recommend this seafood bar!

This is definitely a hole in the wall place that is under kirin court and could be easily passed by! I would definitely recommend checking this place out though if you’re craving seafood!
I shared a boiled platter with a friend and we got ½ lbs crab, ½ lbs shrimp, alot of sausage, two potato halves and two small pieces of corn on a cob for 21.95. It was plenty of food for two people and it’s amazing you could get shrimp and crab for two people for that price! The food was well seasoned with old Bay seasoning and I loved the spicy Cajun sauce. I’ll definitely have to come back to try the fried seafood options as well as the raw oyster! I would give this place 4 stars for the food but the price bumps it up to 5. Definitely come by and give it a try!

I was really satisfied with my boiled platter! ½ lb of crab legs, ½ lb of shrimp, and tons of sausage, potatoes, and corn, all for $ 21.95.
Their ceviche and catfish are also really good. I really don’t see how you can go wrong with any of the dishes here. I’m definitely coming back to try everything else.
Service is great! The server was really nice, and the chef also came out to check on everything.

This place is leaning a little more to the 2 star range but I will round up.
I came here because the Unilocal review were decent and I was craving crawfish but did not want to wait in the notorious line at Boiling Crab.
I had ordered the shrimp cocktail and a pound of crawfish with corn mild.
The shrimp cocktail was OKAY, but for the price I expected better. The shrimp were all the tiny frozen ones that most places use in shrimp fried rice but for $ 8 I would expect better.
The crawfish it self was very fresh. It tasted fresh out of the water, and as a matter of fact it was. The crawfish was not seasoned. Yes I asked for mild, but I would not have ordered mild if I knew that meant that the crawfish was just boiled in water and served to you… On top of that, there was pieces (some bigger than the crawfish) of seaweed in the crawfish. They had obviously not cleaned it at all. I feel like they literally, took the crawfish out of the bag and just boiled it and served it.
While it was cheaper than other places ($ 6/​lb) I will not be coming back. I can find the same price at other places.
The quality of the ingredients were very good, but the preparation was not.

I love this place! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is very clean and always have plenty of parking even when they are packed.
The food is the star here! I have had the shrimp cocktail, the ceviche, the snow crab, the fish tacos, the fried oysters, the grilled and fried catfish, really most everything on the menu.
My fave is the snow crab spicy and the fish tacos. I always order rice and grilled veggies, which are a meal by themselves.
They have revamped the menu somewhat but the portions are still huge! Here’s a special tip, you can order a Mexican cocktail with larger shrimp and raw oysters.
BTW this place is located in the same building as Kirin Court. Yeah a Mexican Baja Style fish stand in the middle of Asia town. Try it and you will love it!
