We have been going here for a quick drive thru in the past 8 yrs.
I understand that people made mistakes & we often got our orders wrong /​incomplete here. But today is the last string for us.
I simply ordered 2 of the Bigger Plate (with 3 entrée & a side). And got charge extra for another plate. I saw it was wrong on the screen & kept telling her to delete the wrong entry.
Tried to explain this on the drive thru window & the lady didn’t understand it. So I had to go inside. The reason why I went to the drive thru is bc I hurt my foot & it’s not easy for me to walk — not to mention their sidewalk is not clean from ice & snow!
I talked to who it seemed like a manager. She was loud, abrupt & did I mentioned loud? There were several people inside & her loudness started to make a scene. I am so embarrassed there.
The other 2 employees were just starring. Didn’t apologize for this inconvenience. They clearly saw that I had a hard time walking.
One of the employee said hello with the smile. I though she was talking to me but she was talking yo the lady behind me. Instead of explaining politely that she was talking to the lady behind me, she said «I’m talking to her» with a surly look on her face.
The issue got resolved. I got my money back. They poured the wrong order back in the display. No apology.
With the food being mediocre & customer service is down the gutter, we would rather support local, mom &pop Chinese restaurants nearby like Happy Dragon /​Peking House.

Been here a few times now and it’s been good, no complaints really just wish it was a little bit cheaper

Really dont lile this restraunt. Everything tastes bland. Would rather guve to a local owner.

Dry, cold rice and chicken… The chicken was about two bites anyways and way too many onions. Skimpy on sauce and did I mention cold?

Lately, the food at this location is terrible. The last few times I’ve been there. I usually go after the regular dinner times. It’s looks like the employees are ready to go home. The Broccoli Beef looked like it had been sitting there for hours. There was no Teriyaki Chicken, and the grill was already cleaned. They didn’t have any brown rice, and whatever rice they did have they were piling it on. I questioned the girl who put too little of an entrée to put more on as usual. She didn’t, and even reacted as if I was asking for too much.
I ordered what looked edible, but I could not order what I wanted. It either was not on display or it looked horrible.
I ended up walking out. I will not go back for awhile.

So we don’t go here as often as the past. This americanized Chinese spot has a cafeteria style line selection or you can order off a menu but I’ve never seen something do that.
At least when ordering thru the line you first choose between brown or white steam rice or fried rice or chow mein noodles or steamed veggies. That’s the largest portion of the meal. I tend to order half steamed veggies and half of which ever of the others strikes me.
Next there are about a dozen different preparations of chicken or beef and occasionally there will be one or two shimp choices. Some are listed as spicy but are minimally so. There are usually a couple with dried Chinese chilies .
Today those were even mild.
Typically food is fast. Today however there was no one in the kitchen when we first got there. I tried ordering the crispy shrimp and was told they cooked it to order… first time in 10 or more years I heard of that.
Got the rest of our food, paid for it, all inclusive of the shrimp and finally asked when I would get it.
They had forgotten the order. So they immediately cooked it and also paid me back it’s cost!

The food is okay. My vegetarian son says they are not veggian friendly. But the food comes quickly, they have nice seating inside and out and accommodate my requests usually.

This is a grand place to eat for really fast, moderately priced, good chinese food… this location at least.
I really enjoy the lo mein… It may be too dry for some, but I appreciate that… Also, really like the black pepper chicken.
