At least they got my order right. Utter chaos! They were taking online orders and confused all of them because they didn’t put names on the orders. Major cluster f###!

I highly recommend it if you want a grab and go coffee, but it’s only truly convenient if you’re in the area! Parking is tough sometimes and the line takes about 10 minutes. Parking: there is valet at Morton’s next door for $ 6 depending on when you arrive. There is 2 $ an hour parking at the garage behind Starbucks, there’s a walkthrough between Morton’s and Sephora to take you directly to the Starbucks. But truly, if you’re not walking to this Starbucks there are more convenient Starbucks in the area. Lines: 10 – 15 min wait. The lines are always long here. I’ve noticed with other Starbucks location if I can arrive at 9 in the morning instead of 8AM, and 3PM instead of 6PM I can avoid a line. But not here. This is Reston Town Center, we have so many residents, companies, and shopping/dining foot traffic that it should be no surprise you’re waiting 10 – 15 for a drink. Drink Quality: awesome! with the exception of 1 barista here, morning, day, and even my 8PM lattes come out as perfection. My soy + no foam requests have always been honored and I’ve never had to send a drink back. Baristas: great! everyone is so pleasant here. One day I noticed my mobile order was missing! Someone walked out with my latte! :-(as soon as I made a comment that leaving the drinks open for anyone’s hand to grab may not be the safest place, the morning barista has made a point to always hold mine off to the side, which I appreciate. I only wish they had enough space to do that for all mobile orders! Working space: dismal! there’s barely enough room for the baristas to do their job, let alone a place to display Starbucks merchandise or for you to work from Starbucks. There are 6 stools here at the window– if you don’t get one you’re SOL. However, if the day is nice there are a few outdoor tables! Every time I come in here I think of how they could redesign it but really they have an award space to work with, so this is definitely a grab and go Starbucks, not a work inside one. Bathrooms: always clean.

I really love a great wet cappuccino. This is the only place that knows how to make one! Even amongst other Starbucks locations they definitely stand out!

We come to this Starbucks every night, this is our favorite store in Reston. The staff is very friendly and fun, always looking after you and making your drinks perfect. There are lines in the afternoon since it’s situated in the busy Reston town center but staff processes your order quickly, therefore there is hardly any wait.

This location always busy but they are friendly and also quick. I went there and the line usually long but they always tried to help you and get you thru the line as quick as they can. They never mess up my drinks.

The most obnoxious starbucks I have ever visited in my life. I wanted to buy $ 500 of Starbucks gift cards for my office and the person behind the register tells me that I am making him do all this work of ringing up 10 cards. Whhaaat? Seriously? I am sorry I gave you business! never again…

I went here after lunch so it was quite busy. The line was long and it felt long as well waiting in the line. It was rather a small Starbucks so there wasn’t much space between the people in line and people waiting for their drinks. The line also ends right where the door is, so it was difficult for people not to be in the way. The only good perk I had being here was that there was an anonymous donor who paid for my drink! :) However; waiting for my drink was pretty quick compared to the line. So it was an OK experience for me. Good location; this store worked with what they have and the employees are nice, but I would’ve liked it to be more spacious and maybe more help. I felt like the barista was rushing orders and spilling and overflowing the drinks with whipped cream.

So, we got there before the line started. First off, pretty disappointed they didn’t have peppermint for the drink I originally wanted. What got me was when the line started 5 minutes after we got there. 20 minutes pass after that, and still no drinks. Then 4 – 5 drinks come out, and ours have yet to be made. My boyfriend asked when ours would be made, and the barista/“manager” said that they would be up soon. It should not take that long to make 2 simple drinks right off the menu. Nothing custom, so why was it taking so long? No excuse, and both of us are irritated. Now, the entire time we were in there, I had my vape. The guy, Matt, who took our order saw I had my vape and was smoking it. He never once said a word to me, until we started questioning what was taking so long on our order. I just flat out told him that if the drinks weren’t being made so slow, then I wouldn’t be standing in there doing it. Then the barista chimed in, and told me don’t do it. I told her just stop arguing it, it’s back in my pocket, just make our drinks. It then turned into a «Why don’t I just refund you your money so you don’t have to wait on my slow ass?» Gladly. We’ve been waiting long enough on two drinks. For the time it took, we could’ve walked to the Starbucks by Best Buy, stood in line there, replaced our order and got it out faster than she was making it. So she made an attempt to refund the money to our credit card. Their computers went down conveniently at the same exact time. We stood there for another 5 – 10 minutes waiting, while Matt asked TINA, the woman making the drinks, to help with the computers. Nothing was being accomplished with them. She walked away, and suddenly came back with our drinks and told us «Here are your drinks, come back some other time and get your refund.» All of that bitching, and then we get our drinks. So my boyfriend asked to speak to a manager. Suddenly, Tina introduces herself as Lisa, the manager, and brags that she’s been there for 6 years. I called her out on the name change, and she then proceeded to say that Matt is new and he hasn’t learned her name. I call bullshit. So, Tina/Lisa/Whatever name or title you feel like giving yourself, I wouldn’t brag about being there for 6 years. If you’re a barista, 6 years in, you should know by now to make drinks in order and in a timely manner. Especially when you have a long line in that tiny little café. If you’re a manager, you have piss-poor management skills. Not only can you not do the simple job as a barista, you can’t manage your computer systems and you have horrendous customer communication skills. Cussing at a customer to get your point across? *applauds* I may not have been right, in fact, I know I wasn’t right for vaping in there. But for fucks sake, how is it that this woman has been employed here for 6 years with an attitude/personality like that, let alone as slow as she is? As for the real manager of this establishment, your employees may need to be up for review. I hope this isn’t the first time she’s used the name Lisa and claimed the management title, because I feel sorry for whoever is getting shit because of her. We will not be returning to this location, not even for the refund.

Super friendly baristas, which is always a huge plus for me. Unfortunately, this store is a little awkwardly laid out with the limited seating it has, and the seating area was dirty with leftover trash when we sat down. Convenient location if you’re in RTC, but more of a place to grab a bevvie and head on out than park it for a while.

This is my Starbucks of choice. Downside: There is always a line. Upside: The barista’s are very friendly and the drinks are consistently good! Tip — Download the phone app and check for the coupons!

It’s Starbucks so no comment on what you get. You basically get Starbucks coffee. The quality of service in this place is somewhat bad compared to other places in the area. Busy baristas, long waiting lines, tight place(no space to line up sometimes), and sometimes the baristas gets creativity and give you something other than what you ordered. Unfortunately, the only Starbucks in the town center and always busy/crowded with no place to seat, too.

Terrible customer service. They all look like they are hating life as well as hating their customers. The kid at the register is rude and condescending and i watched the manager berate a customer that asked if they were having a bad day. Its the worste Starbucks. I won’t be back.

If you’ve seen my previous posts you will know that I make frequent visits to SB across NOVA area. Me and my wife were in the area for the Pet Fiesta and stopped by to get some refreshments! It was really crowded and the servers were swamped. There was a long waiting time but I was totally cool since I had a great company(my wife!). My wife got her Peach Green Tea Lemonade 7 – 8 minutes after. But they forgot/missed to make my drink all together(LOL). I had to go to them and ask for it and got my lemonade in the next few seconds.

Oh boy, why does this place have such harsh reviews? I usually don’t bother writing reviews for the many ‘Bucks I hit, but I decided this place needs a review. While it was a very busy Saturday morning and there was a market going on right outside the door, our drinks were made quickly, cleanly and tasted great, even though I had them make me a custom drink. The layout of this location was a tad awkward and people weren’t sure where to form a line — but it was fine regardless.

No. Just NO! This is probably one, if not THEWORST, Starbucks I’ve ever been to. I live in the Town Center so out of convenience I’ll go there if I don’t feel like getting in my car to get my caffeine fix. I have been disappointed every single time. I question whether anyone there knows the actual recipes for any of their drinks outside of drip coffee, and even that is questionable. Thus far I’ve had several watery americanos(tasted like watered down coffee) and a few lattes that were all milk or WAY too sweet. The cherry on top of this crap mountain was this morning when my husband went to get two Americanos(clearly I hadn’t learned my lesson yet) and two breakfast wraps. After getting our drinks and standing there for no less than 15 minutes, the employee FINALLY asks if he’s waiting for something. Yes. the wraps you should have put in the oven 15 minutes ago. No apology or excuse for messing up, and then almost messes it up again! It was not busy in the store so I don’t understand what is going except that you’ve got a team of slackers. Stop paying these apathetic employees and giving them benefits. Overhaul is necessary STAT. Until then, I will be driving to another location or another café for my fix.

Slower than most… Can’t make drinks properly. I ordered a flat white, not a latte. They haven’t learned how to make one. Also, I ordered a Venti, and half the cup was empty. Bathroom had no toilet paper… luckily I am trained to check before using Starbucks bathrooms.

Tiny Starbucks in Reston Town Center is as typical as they get. I was slightly confused where the line was(it wraps behind the tall display, just to the right inside the door), and there’s not much space to stand while waiting on a drink. Lots of outdoor seating, and plenty of people out there, even on a cold morning.

I was treated with respect by the super friendly and helpful Starbucks baristas. The hot chocolate that I had was extremely delicious and tasty in the 34 degree weather. It was not so crowded at all indeed! :)

I usually love Starbucks but I refuse to ever visit this location(on Freedom Dr in Reston Town Center) again. I went in to buy a bottle of water one afternoon and the lady at the cash register said she couldn’t print out a receipt for me because her cash register was broken. She said that because of that, I could come back and get a free pastry later. She gave me a receipt and said all I needed to do was show the receipt and get a free pastry later that day. I was annoyed I didn’t get a receipt(I always ask for one), but was happy that that would mean I would get a free pastry later. I went in later that day to get my free pastry and there was another promotion going on where people could show their earlier receipts and get $ 1 pastries. I went up and asked for the free pastry the girl at the cash register had told me about earlier and they said that it wasn’t free, but $ 1. I told them that the girl at the cash register had told me earlier that I would get one for free, since she couldn’t give me my receipt. I asked to speak with the manager, since the person I was speaking with was a bit rude and I wanted this resolved. The manager came out from the back and told me that it was $ 1, not free. I told her that perhaps they should train their employees better to not misinform their customers. Needless to say, I did not buy any pastries. Not even for $ 1. And I will not visit this Starbucks location again. Was $ 1 really worth losing a frequent customer? You tell me.
