Zig’s Restaurant

Small, whole in the wall, Denny’s style restaurant, but … The food is amazzzing and not extra greasy. Staff is very friendly too, although at times overwhelmed, the food is worth it.

Me and the bf ate here for breakfast. The food was really really good and the prices were even better! Its a smaller diner with one cook and one waitress so it filled up and got busy pretty quickly but the food was worth it. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Lots of labor type working men came to eat and that always tells me I chose the right place lol

Always get breakfast from the place and it’s always good. Only thing missing is enough employees to handle the traffic and the cashier which is the entire staff will handle money and then the food without washing their hand. Otherwise the place is good and tasty!

Awesome service and good food. Got the wonderful Bullet and my guest ate French Toast and eggs. Everything was excellent and we were also given a free sample of their garlic fries. Hey, for and old time malt this is also a great spot.

Ordered from here for the first time today and we were very happy. I had a turkey burger and it was very very good. My son had the Western burger it was huge and husband had the bullet. We loved the food. We will be going here again because we live around the corner. Yummy!

Food service is quick and fresh. Depending on day and shift you can have a pleasant experience or unpleasant one. constantly requesting everything from the staff as they do not come to check on you.
Like the food prices and choices just wished service would improve a bit.

I’ve been going here for a few years and they have great milkshakes and good cheap fried food. BUT today the waitress (a busted looking girl on her phone the entire time with NO manners) messed up my order then ATE the messed up order right there at the counter. Sad for her since I had licked my finger and touched the sandwich to determine that it was wrong. And she’d turned off the ice cream machine off at 6:20 so I couldn’t order our milkshakes.
Not sure what the deal is here. She was the worst waitress of all time.

I just happened to stumble onto Zig’s thinking it was just a hamburger stand, but it’s actually a good breakfast place:) I recommend it & prices are reasonable:)

I work close to this restaurant and it’s convenient to place my orders and pick up to go. Prices are very reasonable. I love there 2 egg special! Down side is in the mornings they only have one hostess helping. Just today I placed my order by phone and once I got there I waited 5 minutes to get my food which was already ready.

The staff is great and the food is good enough, though slightly less in portion than other restaurants. Get their garlic fries.

This was my first time ordering from here, I took my food to go. The servers were really nice and friendly. I ordered the cheese burger and fries. It was pretty good. It tasted very home made, which is not a bad thing at all, but nothing to rave about. I plan on going back and getting the servers recommendations on what I should order.

First time here with the hubby. Service was good and the food was good. It’s a little hole in the wall place, but we’re looking forward to going back and trying a few other things. The hubby ordered a double-​cheeseburger and seasoned fries, which he liked (though the fries needed a bit more seasoning). I had the 3 egg breakfast with the home fries. it was good, the potatoes were a bit under-​salted, but that’s ok because I need to watch my salt in-​take.

Our waitress Julia was really sweet and had great recommendations. She was working really hard even though she had been hit by a car recently. Cheap and good food in this little diner.

Food is good. depending what u order but why did I wait for our order for over 30 min!?! We ordered before everyone else that showed up but we got our food last?!

Went to Zigs the other day had not been there in like 35 years was better than I can remember. The bullet is now made with a fresh roasted green chili instead of a canned one. Some may not like this as it was really spicy. Very tasty, I ordered it as a combo and got onion rings instead of fries better choice. Next time I would go for the Zucchini as they looked good,
My wife had the Chicken Fried Steak and eggs. Very good house made real piece of meat not that saw dust stuff from a factory. Gravy was good to. We were surprised though it did not come with toast.
If we are down that way again we will eat here.

I give this little nondescript place 5 Stars for a simple reason; The Food & The Prices!
It doesn’t look like much, it’s kinda small, it needs a paint job… do I really care about any of that? No. I’ve only eaten there twice for breakfast but both times the meals were well-​prepared and tasty and since I’ve stopped drinking soda with my meals I spent $ 10 and that included a generous tip based on the cost of the meal. Even if I still did they only charge $ 1.75 for soda with free refills.

Thoroughly enjoyed the lunch I had today while out and about with my Mom who is visiting from Oregon. Our servers were An (n)a and Chelsea, and they were both wonderful and had beautiful smiles, something that is rare within small diners. Also, the food is great and tasty! We will definitely be back for the shakes, which I have heard are also quite good. Bravo, Zig’s!

I used to eat here ALL the time, but that has changed. I’m only giving this place 2 stars for the simple fact that I USE to love it. The cooks never look at the orders. Last time I waited almost an hour and then I came to realize that the cooks COMPLETELY FORGOT our order. :/​I let it slide the first time. Then it happened two more other times, and finally once more. That was the last straw. The waitresses are very sweet girls. One time I assumed it was one of the girls who forgot to put in the order, but she had put the order in. Its those AWFUL COOKS THAT FORGET. I apologized to her. I felt super terrible because I had told the manager and she was reprimanded for my
complaint even though it was not her fault. I no longer go to this establishment… it actually use to be my favorite breakfast spots to go to. :(

Stopped by this spot for lunch with the fam. The servers were friendly and checked on us often enough to make me happy.
We placed our order and waited for our food. It seemed like our food took a little longer to come out than I expected. Maybe it was the fact that we had 3 hungry little impatient mouths to feed.
I ordered a bacon cheeseburger but noticed that when I got it, it came without bacon. I wasnt trying to make a big deal about it so I didn’t tell the server. The burger itself was delicious and filling. The bad part was that when we got the check I was indeed charged for the bacon that I didn’t get.
The wife and kids liked thier burgers as well. Their garlic fries were pretty awesome. One of the girls opted for the pancakes which she devoured.
One thing that my wife noticed was that the price on the check didn’t match the menu price for the kid’s burgers. Nor sure what that was about.
So overall the food was great, the pricing was decent, and the service was good. They just missed a few things on our visit that would have given me a better impression.

Perfect little hole in the wall café. No glam involved just good hearty food and simple environment. Was pleasantly surprised with the delicious crepes!
Zigs is our neighborhood go to when we want to get it, get fed and get on with our lives. :)
