Agree with other reviews. Great service. Great selection of breakfasts. Great prices too. I miss the little gift shop they used to have years ago in the waiting area! the place could use some renovating. Just some paint touch-ups here and there would help. Any place that has turkey sausage as a substitute, is a fan in my book, though!

Second time here. Love the 50’s vibe ! The roses on the draperies :-) and the whole I fell back in the 50’s feeling . Yeah the place is not updated but that’s it’s charm . Portions are huge and food is not bad at all . Free Coke and coffee refill, no wait like at Dennis not to mention the it places like Cici’s etc . It’s a decent place to come when you don’t feel like cracking eggs at home.

Millie’s is a nice hangout, and like other Unilocalers said, a notch above Denny’s and IHOP. However they microwave a lot of food, and some of the entrees are hit or miss. Tortilla soup was great, lots of juicy chicken! Pot pie, not so much– soggy(from microwave). Turkey dinner was decent, Apple pie was ok. Their breakfast on the other hand is on point! Great coffee, omelets and potatoes! Lots of counter seating too… this place is definitely best for breakfast and brunch. The serving staff does a great job too.

My Mom and I stopped in for lunch today and had a fine experience. Mom had a club sandwich which she enjoyed and brought half home for dinner. I had the southern fried chicken. The batter on the chicken was crispy and had a sweet taste to it. The meat was hot and moist. The prices are very reasonable. I brought home an individual cherry pie that was baked just right. The staff were all friendly and gave excellent service.

I love this place. Way better than Norms or Denny’s. It never disappoints. First time ever I write a review so that should say a lot!

Consider this place an upgraded Denny’s. One thing I do like is the atmosphere — it has a old-school, country, laid back feel. It’s kind of nice to walk in and not feel rushed by a restaurant. And it’s nice to have a ‘country family’ feel in the middle of the city. All the times I have been here, the staff has been great and attentive. Just keep in mind, this is more of a laid back, slower environment. You will see many elderly couples here. The food is great in comparison to other diners of the same kind, ie Denny’s, Norm’s, Sizzlers; with perhaps the exception of their soup. Somehow, I haven’t found one that I like. Everything else: salad, burger, breakfast, dinner; have all been good with generous portions. Come here if you have time to sit and chat… skip this place if you’re in a hurry for a quick bite.

Friendly Prompt service. Ample servings. No such thing as a one egg order, always 2. Coffee refills. Love crispy bacon. Saucer –size pancakes. Very hearty breakfasts. Great value. Happy regular NZ customers, visiting family in Forbes Ave. Happy New Year guys.

This Millie’s is pretty good, been here 3 times in the last 2 months for breakfast between 7 and 9:00 am, no waiting and the food and service good. I use to go to Norm’s for over 20 years but the last 2 years the food quality and service has been very poor and the wait time is very long. Good bye Norm, I’m going to Millie’s

I come here a lot with my bereavement group. Fatima is always our waitress. She is funny and very attentive. We have some crabby, demanding people in our group, but she always serves with smile. Today I had the steak salad. My steak was so flavorful, and tasty. I asked for a side of avocado which made it better. Wish it was more than just iceberg and tomatoes, the menu said cabbage, but there was none. Oh well, still like coming here, as food is usually good, and service is great too!

This place has okay to good food, but the service is lousy. The waiter took forever to come and take our order after we told him to come back after he puts in our appetizer order. He decides to come back about 10 mins later and that’s only because his manager saw that we were waiting. Throughout the whole experience his body language and the service he provided was as if he did not want to be there and that we were holding him up from something. When he brings our food he doesn’t ask if we needed anything else as he sees I have an almost empty glass of coke. He doesn’t even come back to see how our food was or if we needed anything. My glass of coke was empty throughout most of my meal and he doesn’t even bother to refill it until I call him over. He doesn’t even say if we need anything else, I had to raise my voice to ask for napkins as he is walking away and nodding his head. I have not been here in a few years and it goes to show why stayed away for so long. I will not be frequenting this place again as I don’t want to be treated like crap for a service I am paying for.

Millies has great food great prices and great service. It’s better than Dennys, Norms, and Cocos. And maybe just as good as IHOP. Décor is a little old but I love all the Life magazines on the wall. Portions are huge. This Millies didn’t have the little table games but it did have coloring things for the kids. breakfast is sometimes a hit or miss. IHOP definitely beats them at that.
Came here few times, tonight is my long day at work as usual Thursday night’s and I don’t feel like cooking. The staff is so nice and our server was great. I audibly like going to places where customer service is very crucial and very on point.
