I come to this place often from a long day of school or work… so tonight I came with my coworker to get some burritos de asada because he is Spanish but his family are from Michoacan… and as usual they made mine great. The lady at the register was nice and the lady cook made the burritos to perfection. My coworker enjoyed this place too. Anybody that says this place takes long to make them are delusional. This isn’t McDonald’s, the food is made from scratch consistently. A shout out to all the workers there who made my night.

This has been a long time favorite of mine. I first discovered this restaurant about 12 years ago while working in Tarzana one of my fellow workers recommended having lunch at Carnitas. From the first bite of the burrito and taco I was hooked. This is a no frills spot but they have a vast selection of menu items. The food is prepped upon order and is served with their house made salsa(which is my all time favorite). I am glad this place is not closer to me because I would certainly be here all the time.

In the same plaza as 7 – 11. Authentic Mexican. They are very friendly. Good food and good portions. They are all spanish speaking so if you don’t speak the language, it may be a little difficult to order. But not a big deal if you are not picky. I like their seafood.

It was good in 2000! It probably doesn’t matter now but seeing this place on Unilocal made me write my 2c. What a trip! this was my spot 15yrs ago and by looking at the pictures, it didn’t change much. The gum machine, sticker tattoos and menus still looks the same. I miss ordering torta with lengua and lengua /cabeza all meat burrito! The space beside you has been occupied by different people yet you guys are still there. The people on the register are probably kids of those working there before. I will be back one of these days. I hope you stay there for the next 50yrs!

Here’s the deal… This isn’t Chipotle or a gourmet Mexican restaurant. This is simple, delicious Mexican food. If you’re the kind of person that needs to customize your order exactly the way you want it, head to Chipotle. If you want authentic, flavorful Mexican food, here’s your place. My food has always been well made and delicious. Some might complain that it can take a few minutes to get your order. That’s because everything is cooked fresh when you order, and that is perfectly fine with me. Yes, the staff is not so chatty sometimes. I don’t really care, I just want good tacos. This is a hole in the wall at its best. My recommendations: carne asada nachos, carne burrito majado, chicken fajitas, and steak tacos. The salsas are delicious and they have Mexican soda.

Fast, no so clean, but authentic. Not the friendliest service, in fact the girl didn’t make eye contact with me for a good minute while I stood there, she looked everywhere around me avoiding my face — not sure why. The tacos al pastor tasted good going down, but made me feel sluggish later and gave me heartburn and was being re-visted by them for the rest of the day. Probably too much cheap oil. Tasted good, anyway.

Great tacos! The food here is simply great. I stopped in the other day for lunch and I will be back for sure. The staff were all very nice and gave very fast service. My food was hot and ready in minutes. I’m still searching for the perfect taco though… but this place came close… thanks again!

Food was good, but it took 15 minutes to make 4 tacos. TOGO! If you have nothing but time then go here and try the tacos. I had chorizo and carne asada. Both were good, but very greasy. The horchata wasn’t too bad either.

Ok good, terrible service. They don’t get orders right, and they are snobby. I asked for guacamole and sour cream in my burrito. They didn’t put it in. Normally I wouldn’t get agitated but this happened three previous times. They looked me straight in the eye and said«ok». But no guacamole or sour cream.

Really tasty food. Not a fancy place at all. But totally love their spicy nachos! Small restaurant. Limited parking space. Quick good Mexican food.

Been coming here for years! If you want yummy, quick, authentic Mexican food this is the place to go. I usually get the Asada tacos, but I’ve also tried the Asada burrito and the cheese enchiladas… Never been disappointed.

I love this Mexican joint. It’s convenient(down the street from my house), delicious(flavorful), and the people here are nice. I first started coming here in high school. I was lucky(or unlucky) enough to live across the street from my school and have this place on the corner. This is the first authentic Mexican food I was introduced to. I love their cabeza tacos, but I always get their carne asada or carnitas nachos. I love the crunch and the flavor of the meat; I love the guacamole, queso fresco and crema they put on top with the tomatoes of course. It’s delicious! I could munch on these nachos all day. I don’t usually eat here because well… I don’t like eating at their tables. I’d rather just take it home. Oh and they’re open late on the weekdays(11pm or 11:30pm) I forget. But how awesome is that for your nacho fill?!

Perfect spot to stop and get something quick and delicious. The best one in the chain. The others are horrible and i drive past all of them to get to this one.

I am growing more and more fond of this restaurant chain. They are pretty much consistent from one to another in their chain. If it wasn’t for the occasional excess salt in the food, this place could get some higher marks in my book. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is like being right down in Mexico. There is quite an extensive menu but that can be resolved if you know what you are hungry for when you go in. I usually get any of the different types of tacos or burritos and am very satisfied(minus the salt.) I just so happened to order the Nacho Supreme. For around 5 bucks, this was quite a surprise and closer to what we call«Taco Salad». Either way, it was loaded to the hilt with meat, beans, rice, salsa and freshly grated cheese on top. Most places will serve nachos as in the«Gringo» style with melted velveeta cheese, a few whimpy Jalapenos and a skimpy handfull of seasoned ground beef. Not here. This one was loaded with all the right stuff and even topped with a bit of guacamole and sour cream. I hope they can hide the salt shaker one day so that I can raise the rating on them. Other than that, keep up the good work.

4 stars as a hole in the wall authentic Mexican place. Very friendly people, great taco’s, like the ones you get from the taco trucks. She had the Tacos de Pescado and I had the Carnitas. Both were awesome! If in the area again, I would easily stop on by.
