Very affordable with a large selection! Every wine we’ve tried so far has been awesome. Friendly staff willing to take time to listen to preferences and give wonderful explanations… and did I mention affordable?!

I am so glad my friend recommended I check out this shoppe with her! The shop has been remodeled and is incredibly homey feeling, but also has a great set up for seating at the bar for wine tastings.
I also joined the wine club which I find to be a great deal. Rather than other shops that charge $ 80+ for their clubs, Wine Shoppe charges $ 25/​month which gets you 1 – 2 bottles. (You can chose Reds, Whites or Mixed). So far the wine club wines have been phenominal and have really helped me try new things and educate my pallet.
The gal that runs the shop is simply delightful and personable. I look forward to stopping by!

This was a great find tonight, stumbled here after another appointment to look around and walked into a tasting which they have every Friday night = Fantastic! Tracie was super nice tasting lots of wine and having great deals on the wines in the store. They have a great but limited selection due to the store’s size, but every bottle they have in the store is hand chosen for the store and to sell.
Its really cute, I suggest you visit. It was the best accident I had today.

My hubby and I were there for wine tasting for Seattle Humane Society. Wines we tried were all good, and we ended up buying 6 bottles because they were a lot more reasonable than we thought!!! We’re in Lake Stevens so it’s a bit of drive, but we’ll be back, for sure. Hands down.

Tracie supplies wine for our neighborhood Food & Wine dinners several times a year. (And I often handle the distribution of the wine orders.) Tracie is the best! Very professional and knowledgeable. She goes the extra mile on price and service and we couldn’t imagine putting on our events without her

I work in the same parking lot as this wine shop and avoided it for the longest time as I thought it would be overpriced, boy was I wrong. I finally decided to stop in after work and I was really impressed with their selection of wines for under $ 10 (my perfect price range) since then this is the only place I go for wine. They are priced well and the owner and staff are so friendly and willing to help you find the best wine for your tastes and price range.
They also have great sales and seem to have them fairly often.

After visiting the Wine Shoppe and finding a huge selection of great value wines I was hooked. It is Tracie’s passion to find bargain wines that drink like pricey wines.
She hosts a free wine tasting every Thursday where she brings in local wine makers and different selections, and offers a wine club that gives great benefits.
It is worth the drive from Kirkland to Newcastle to make it to her events.
I highly reccomend this for any wine drinker/​collector.

Tracie, the owner, is very accommodating, and has located some hard-​to-​find wines and ports for us. My wife and I have bought quite a few cases of exceptional wines from her, and she always gives us a great price. Highly recommended!

I really love this place. Tracie (the owner) is absolutely lovely and is great about recommending wines that are really affordable but are fantastic (a $ 10 wine that drinks like a $ 30 wine). Get on the email list and you’ll get the major deals.
Bottom line: This is a fab place that is close to home (for me, at least). Go for the wine tastings on Thursdays between 5 & 7 pm and ask all the silly questions you want; everyone is very accomodating and down-​to-​earth.

The Wine Shoppe occasionally comes up to the chocolate shop in Newcastle for wine and chocolate pairings that are fun and inexpensive. The wines have been hit and miss for me but they seem to have some very good values, and vintners that you won’t find at the grocery store.
I also learned that they host wine tastings on Thursday evenings. Taste in wine is such a subjective thing, it’s nice to try before you buy, rather than grabbing something and hoping for the best. It’s too bad they don’t do this at a time more convenient than during the dinner hour on a weeknight.
