Like all the other reviews I’m writing right now, this one is delayed. Stopped by this gem with a girlfriend a few weeks ago. I loved it! It was the perfect place to drink wine, eat and catch up. The servers were attentive but didn’t force themselves into our dinner. They were friendly and gave great suggestions. I was impressed with the salmon Crostinis and their selection of wines. My friend enjoyed her food as well. I will definitely be back.

First time to the landing and this place. Quite impressed with the food and wine selection. Ordered the no cry chicken flat bread. Very tasty. The beef stroganoff pasta is very tasty too. The truffle popcorn is really good as well. Ended the dinner with brownie and ice cream. Delicious! Very happy with our food and service. Would come back for sure.

Great addition to the landing. I’ve been in for lunch, hh, and dinner on several different occasions and overall it’s really a nice time. Great selection of wines, great atmosphere and decent prices for food. Their food is good but I wouldn’t say it’s like to die for or anything. Their service is also pretty good and they’re consistent it seems. It can get a little busy around HH and dinner time but lunch time is better for service and if you’re looking for something a little quieter. Their outdoor seating is also dog friendly which is a huge bonus for me and my doggies! Definitely worth checking out if you’re at the landing and in the mood for some good wine and the right pairings. Nice without being too fancy.

Great after work stop. Always meeting new people. My Pino Gris always comes chilled and smooth. We sometimes stay a long time because the atmosphere is very pleasing and relaxed.

I end up at Vino at least once a week and love it every time. We have been coming here for years and we have never had a bad experience. Tara is fantastic and pays serious attention to detail. The happy hour snacks are always so tasty, and they do a good job mixing up their wine flights. An evening on the patio in the summer with a couple bottles of wine, some dinner and good friends… is doesn’t get much better. I love that I can just pop in there on my way home and grab a bottle of really good wine, even if Tara brings me something I have never tried before, I have never been disappointed. Egypt is one of the best servers I have ever had. He remembers everything and always, always has a big(and gorgeous) smile. They have live music on the weekends and I have loved everyone they have brought in. Thursdays are tasting days and this is also a fun way to try new wines and learn about local wineries. Vino really is a gem of a wine bar.

I frequent Vino more than I actually check in at Vino. It’s become a norm for me to the point where sometimes I just flat-out forget about checking in. Vino is a place that you can go to regularly and feel right at home. The appetizers are great. Vino is where I go to enjoy small serving of cheeses and red wine. They have a patio so that you can soak up the sun in the summertime and a variety of seating. Inside offers high tables, too low tables, and even a couch in front of the fireplace. I really enjoy the house Merlot and their selection of Cabernet’s. Service is attentive and thorough. They host live music on the weekend I haven’t been to a live music event yet but plan to go!

Great place for happy hour! Te bruschetta is to die for along with the macaroni and cheese! I would say. Great place to meet after work for a couple of glasses of wine. They have a great selection of ciders as well if white or red isn’t you glass of wine ;)

Vino is the kind of place you go for tapas and wine. It reminds me of the little shops in Europe where you can buy a bottle and consume it in house or in the nearby park. Conveniently located next to the movie theater, you can grab a bite and have a relaxed dinning experience before enjoying the movie. The service is not fast but in a good way. The staff gives you time to make your selections and enjoy the company you brought to the locale. Because we went on New Year’s Day, we got to try some of their NYE menu selections. The flank steak with potatoes and chimichurri sauce was excellent, and do is their half portion serving of pasta(still a big portion). Make sure to try the truffle popcorn, it is sooo worth the price. They have a 3 to 6 happy hour which is a good choice for those on a budget. Try the house wines or the bottled beer selection. You will not be disappointed.

Vino is a retail wine shop and wine bar. I always look forward to a visit to Vino during my Seattle visits. They are open till midnight on the weekends, and have a great selection of affordable, and harder to find wines from boutique Northwest wineries. They have about 100 wines on the menu that are under $ 30. They have a routing flight menu, that always offers something different to try. The flight glasses are served on this awesome hand crafted metal tree stand. The wine is not only good here, the food is as well. The bacon wrapped dates are a meal to themselves. It’s hard to describe just how tasty they are. They came highly recommended as the server’s favorite appetizer. The seared Ahi Tuna was delicious, and my friend loved their fish tacos. Overall a great dinner, and for a wine bar fairly affordable prices. The service is friendly, and the ambiance cozy. They have free wifi if you are looking to hangout, and they do have special events throughout the week. Thursday’s they have wine tasting events, and live music on Saturdays. If you live in the area, they also do offer a wine club with special discounts.

Vino is such a great place in The Landing! It’s a nice alternative to all the big restaurants nearby; perfect for a low-key meet-up with friends. They have a large selection of wines and rotating specials of featured wines and ciders. For the undecided, they also offer wine flights. Along with my wine I always like to get their Vino Platter so I can nibble on some meats and cheeses. It’s great to share or even as a meal. Their mac and cheese and white truffle popcorn are also good too! When my sister got married this past summer, I held her bridal shower at Vino. It ended up being the perfect location for the event! It was early on a Sunday and Vino was able to give us the entire side room to party. The service was exceptional and our server, Christina, was wonderful. She was the only one there at the time and was able to take care of our party and her other customers. Even communications with their Event Coordinator, Alyse, was great. I have never had a bad time here!

Came here on a Friday night– good service especially for a busy Friday. Great selection of wine and reasonably priced flights. The food we had was delicious– highly recommend the bruschetta — the balsamic reduction is one of the best I’ve had! Brownie a la mode also delicious!

I hate to give privately, family owned businesses a bad review– I know how hard they work. That being said, we had a pretty bad experience here last night. Service was a slow– an hour meal turned into two and a half hours, a slow two and a half hours. Food was very bland– I had the shrimp linguine with Chardonnay sauce, sauce was watery and flavorless. $ 19 for our cheese board seemed a little steep too, especially considering it was a $ 7 grocery store value. Sorry Vino… not impressed, wish I was because you have so much potential!

Went to Vino on a Friday evening for date night. Nice atmosphere. Not too dark, not too loud. Excellent wine selection, both by the glass and by the bottle. Server recommended a rose that turned out to be incredible. I will say that the wine was much better than the appetizers, and the appetizers were better than the food. Specifics: Balsamic reduction on the caprese salad is superb. The whipped cream they put on the desserts is house-made and delicious. Synopsis: Looking for a place to enjoy some wine and appetizers/dessert? This is your place. Not interested in wine, just looking for dinner? I would recommend going elsewhere. With a name like Vino you can’t say they didn’t warn you…

Came here because my girlfriend really wanted wine. Instead of getting just a couple glasses of wine we got a bottle because it was cheaper. We got a bottle of Riesling. Really crisp and not as sweet as other Riesling. Not sure what brand it was but definitely good. We also order the bruschetta, which I really like! I’m not a huge fan of tomatoes but I found myself trying to scoop up all the pieces with my bread haha. We were going to order food here but we decided to eat else where. Would definitely come back. Looks like a great little place for date night.

Vino does it right. I always enjoy coming here for small bites paired with the perfect glass of red. They have a nice cheese plate topped with amazing balsamic served along side quince. Sweet and savory are my favorite combinations! Their bruschetta is one of the best I’ve had. Love the service and atmosphere. Cute little fireplace with love seats to make you feel comfortable and at home!!!

Vino at the Landing is a great wine bar addition to the Renton area. I’ve been here several times, and finally feel I’m able to review this establishment. This probably isn’t the best place for HH. They have small bites only… nothing that I would consider filling which I typically look for in a HH. However, dinner is pretty good. Last night I went for dinner and spotted a $ 16 salmon filet special served on top of basmati rice, with green beans and mushrooms. Not only did I get a huge serving of salmon, I really enjoyed the entire dish… and this is coming from someone who doesn’t like green beans OR mushrooms, so that should tell you something. Their soups have always been hit or miss for me so I’d recommend sticking to their entrees. If you’re in the area, stop by Vino, sit by the fireplace and catch up with a friend or enjoy a glass of wine with a date.

After spending several days in Seattle, I began realizing that Seattle is more of a living city than tourist destination. Yes, people still identify Seattle for its coffee rather than its food scene, both of which I have yet to be thoroughly impressed by(barring a few exceptions). During my recent visit, I had often found myself struggling to find standout dining establishments. Increasingly weary of this dilemma, I left the dreaded decision to Loren L. He searched around and pulled up a curious wine bar offering live music named Vino At The Landing. I thought, «What the heck, how bad could it be? At least they have live jazz!» It might have been God’s divine appointment for us to dine here that rainy Saturday evening. Why, you ask? Well, according to Unilocal,Vino was less than a mile from our hotel. Under the impression we had ample time to spare, we left for our OpenTable reservation 15 minutes prior to our reservation, only to circle a business park several times trying to identify what might look to be this restaurant. Wouldn’t you know… someone added Vino to Unilocal with an incorrect address… and OpenTable linked to this same erroneous location! With time ticking away ever so quickly, I decided to search for The Landing and corrected the Unilocal and iOS Map locations on the fly. Thankfully, Vino was only about 4 miles away. I called to inform them of this mishap, informing them that we’d be about 10 minutes tardy. They were totally understanding and accommodating, assuring us that we would still have our table ready upon our arrival. And as promised, we were seated accordingly. If you’re like me and love jazz, I have total confidence that you will love Vino’s live jazz artists. They don’t book cheesy novices to keep their patrons entertained. These are bonafide, talented jazz musicians and vocalists performing here Saturday evenings. And while you might find Vino to be your new hangout to relax, you might also discover that their cuisine is well thought out and perfect for sharing. Smoked Salmon Crostini($ 9.00): 4.5÷5 With a menu featuring several starters that I would have chosen over these crostini, all in all, I do not regret Loren L’s choice. Topped with a generous amount of fresh, melt-in-your-mouth, woodsy infused salmon slices, each crostini piece kept my palate in suspense as a tangy crème fraîche provided the necessary contrast in flavor to leave me wanting more. Marinated Skirt Steak with Herb Roasted Potatoes($ 14.00): 4.25÷5 Vino’s kitchen more than adequately executed medium rare preparation for this skirt steak. What’s more, Vino’s marinated skirt steak was well marinated. Where this dish could have improved was in the area of tenderness. As I am well aware that this cut of beef has tendencies of being more on the tough side, I can attest to the possibility of making skirt/flank steak easier on the mandibles. Accompanying this beef protein was a side of impeccably prepared roasted potatoes. Berry Crumble Parfait: 5⁄5 Rounding off this eventful dining experience was a special berry parfait, overloaded with naturally sweet raspberries. If there’s a chance that this dessert is offered… you surely do not want to pass this up! In all honesty, I really miss this place. I thoroughly enjoyed their elegant yet low-key ambience… AND they did not discriminate against casual attire patrons(denim jeans and hoodies to suited up gents). You just don’t feel out of place when you’re here at Vino. Great music. Solid eats. Respectable beverage selection. Friendly staff. These all make for a superb date night option. Let’s mark this place as one of Seattle/Renton’s gems.
