Williams Avenue Sports Bar

Very poor service! Waited at the bar for a good five minutes and no one knowledge me! Walked passed me more than once and helped multiple people! First and very last time I will be stepping foot in this so called bar.

When days are rough! I can always count on my bartenders! Can never go wrong here !!! Thank you Jp for having awesome bartenders!

We come here a lot on Friday evenings. Great service and friendly staff. The burgers and fries are delicious! Really good mixed drinks. You get yours money’s worth!
We also enjoy breakfasts on the weekends. Really flavorful gravy! I just wish they opened before 11.

The older lady there makes the wrost lemon drops ever !!! Not coming back of I see her ever !!!

I enjoy this place so much that I’ve seriously thought about keeping it a secret. Above all else, the prices on everything is fair. Every time I get the check I think, «That’s it?». But besides that, the food here is amazing. I’ve had the Philly cheese, the wings, and the tacos so far and everything is beyond delicious. Highly recommended. Best place for food and drinks in Renton.

Pretty impressive place! Can’t judge the place by the entrance area. The front states that it is a Tavern and it looks divey and beer only from the street view. But once you’re inside, wow! This place is not only big! but it’s pretty nice! I went to sit at the bar to catch up with an old friend of mine and it was a very nice atmosphere of friendly people from relaxed dressing to suits from the car dealerships near by.
We sat right next to an intimate area in the bar that had a cozy fireplace and a very open atmosphere. Also, the music was just right in volume where you could hear and appreciate the sounds from nice clear speakers with a good amount of bass and still have a conversation with people! What perfect ambiance!
The fries were nice and crispy… good trick too since they stayed crispy for over an hour! Rare fry experience for this boy but I liked it a lot! The pours are good here and the prices are also good! Love the space. The service was a bit spotty as the first half I was wondering why the lady hated me… and then realized that she didn’t when she started to talk to us. I guess it’s a straight forward bar. But still confusing.

Maybe this place used to be scary a few years back, but it certainly isn’t anymore. Nice place to watch sports (they have lots of screens with different channels on), play pool, or listen to live music. Props to the sound guy for doing a great job!

Stopped by last night around 1. I have never been but the atmosphere was fun. Fun to people watch, drinks were extremely reasonable. Will be stopping by more often if I want to keep it in town :)

The Williams is a terrific place! It’s a blue collar nice bar with super food. Chilled beer glasses, nice & clean with at least a dozen new 46″ flat screens! Very reasonable prices & good bar food. Oh, prime rib dinner is great & the Wed-​night smoked BBQ ribs are killer. (cooked out back) Wings are good too.
Live music on the weekends.
This place in not rough or seedy, it’s Renton. Many different kinds of people in Renton. Hey be open minded, everyone has always been nice to us at the Williams.

3^rd Stop of our Renton Pub Crawl. Service was great and quick. Played darts in the back while my comrades did fireball shots.
Good people watching. Not really my scene but a great choice if you are looking for cheap drinks.

Amazing place for live bands. Cheap strong drinks, amazing food, and kick ass bartenders. Scotty, Zach and Jason know how to take care of the guest. Fast service, clean bar and friendly people. Pool tables, sports events, pull tabs and juke box is always a plus. A++ Will Return!

5 FRICKEN stars !!! Random night out, un scripted with my favorite female in the universe, Jessica! We stumbeld on this amazing «joint» with 2 oif the BEST bartenders and the COOLEST BAND ever! Had a memorable and best time I have had in YEARS… no lie! WANT to live closer and have fun here a ton of my life on this planet… touchtunes android compatable… rock star compatable —I want to OWN this MF! STOOOOPENDOUS! 11÷22÷13 who was the band? They ROCK!

They know how to pour a good drink here and foods not bad either. Bartenders are nice and a great place to stop in while bar hoping. The crowd can get a little rough, but then again it is in down town Renton. Don’t let that shy you away, it’s a great establishment. Clean bathrooms are a bonus.

Bar hopping at its finest. Omg. If your looking for a dive you have found your place and that is not derogatory. They know what they are and go with it. :-)

newbies to Williams will be put off by this bar, but the locals know the drinks are stiff and the food stacks up well to some local 4 stars in Seattle. The prices vary depending on what you order, but they have drink and menu specials daily. The staff meets at least a 3 star expectation for a Pub/​eatery in downtown Renton, and there is free pool on Tuesdays. People complaining of hobos, and drug deals had one bad experience and immediately are put off, but the Pub is near a major bus line and a mixed crowd is usually welcomed all the time. Dress is casual, they have an up to date Jukebox, giant flat screens they’ve recently installed, live bands on Friday, and Karaōke on Saturdays from 9pm-​1pm. They’ve been renovating the place lately so the money from sales is going to improve the overall look of the bar which at first feels a bit dive bar-​ish. If you’re looking for a great place to have a low key birthday, your home made cake is welcome with a stack of balloons. You can even order out over the phone!

Pretty good food, bartender is ha you will see. but overall is great experience, I came here couple time already, just don’t go there too late at night. than it should be fine.

I have been in here a few times in the last year or so. It has usually been a fun dive bar in the neighborhood. However, my most recent experience (last Friday night) was superrrr sketchy. Immediately had a weird vibe walking in… we found our group of friends and got a pitcher of beer. sat down at a table and noticed that the whole place looked like it was full of homeless people. No joke. Toothless, raggedy, filthy, and some of them sleeping. One guy started to lean against my friends back to doze off. I have never been to a bar that felt dangerous… until then. We left. too many other bars in the neighborhood that feel safer.
Maybe it was just a weird night. The other times I had been there it was a really normal dive bar experience with stiff drinks.

Surprisingly good food. The head bartender is a d*ck but they serves stiff drinks. I like the place. When I don’t feel like going downtown it’s a kick a** local bar. Some nights are crazier than others. Always good times though (:

Dude. This place is SCARY.
I went to the bathroom and a girl and her pimp/​boyfriend/​thug first tried to sell me meth, when I was appalled and disgusted saying No, they then tried to solicit me for sex. Seriously. In the bathroom. The worst part was when I told the bartender, he just shrugged his shoulders like I was the crazy one!
This bar is the perfect setting for the next SAW movie.
