Everything was AMAZING! Food was full of flavor and interesting. We had the caprese salad which was the perfect blend of greens, tomatoes, basil, and HOUSEMADE mozerella. Dressing was delicious! We had the bolognese and pugliese pizzas. Both were amazing! Service was perfect. They met our needs without asking. We needed lots of additional napkins(baby was with us) and checking on us numerous times. Will definitely come here again and again!

Went to try this pizza place because I’d heard positive things and like to spend my money on local businesses. If only they cared about taking my money– they apparently have a trivia night on Tuesdays that starts at 7pm. Every table in the place was reserved because it’s not a very big place. Highly, highly irritating to walk into a restaurant that’s empty and be told you can’t spend your money. You lost a customer before you even started, folks– very poor experience and I’m not planning on ever going back.(Which sucks for them because I’m fat with a big family that eats a lot of pizza and drinks a lot of beer)

Another fun surprise during our stay in Renton. I’ve never had fried cauliflower, which we tried at the server’s suggestion(who was VERY helpful and friendly.) I don’t even like cauliflower — but would get it again in a heartbeat. Garlic bread was great, too. Awesome onion rings. Many different types of specialty pizzas — delicious. Try the pear one — the DTR — it’s fabulous. The crust, to me, left a little bit to be desired; but that’s not an unusual finding with most pizza places, IMO. The other awesome thing is that they have like a dozen unusual types of bottled sodas — MacFuddy Pepper Elixir and O-so Butterscotch Root Beer, to name two.

On vacation from Denver, co and only here for three days and only came because of the reviews. Come with an appetite because the Stromboli is huge, the girders are great and the 14″ barbarian pizza was fantastic.

Ok right after dinner at the Whistlestop ale house, we decided to go get dessert so we stopped off the Smoking Monkey pizza. It was only 0.2 miles away so it was basically just around the corner. Jumped into our cop cruiser and turned on the GPS. What could’ve been a two minute ride, Siri’s drunk ass had me do a few dangerous lane changes, make a bunch of right turns and come to find up, we ended up pretty close to where we started. Smoking Monkey pizza was really just around the corner. Soon as I jump out of our cruiser, it’s raining in Seattle for like the 20th time that day. We walked in the place and it was packed. I thought someone stepped on something bc a pungent smell hits me right in the face when we walked up to the counter. I realized it was the cheese that they use at this place. I knew what I was going to order already so we told the pizza guy that we were getting a 16″ half spicy monkey and half Hawaiian monkey. Pizza guy says«it will be about a 35 minute wait for your pizza.» I thought to myself«wow that’s a long wait.» I said and grinned, «Ok sounds good. We’ll be at the bar.» My wife and I sat at the bar and the waiter poured us some iced water. My wife taps me and says«Look they have gelato also.» I looked up and to my surprise they had a chocolate ghost pepper gelato. We decided to get an order(comes with three scoops for $ 3.95). We decided on a scoop of the chocolate ghost pepper, mango cream, and key lime. The waiter came right back with our gelato and said«enjoy». I grabbed my spoon and took a taste of the ghost chocolate. It was the weirdest sensation to have cold gelato and ghost pepper hit your taste buds at the same time. The heat hits you right away and I actually couldn’t speak for a few seconds bc my head felt like it was going to explode and smoke was coming out of my ears. Sounded like I had a terrible experience but I was actually loving it. I like to challenge myself to see if I can go through the pain that the ghost pepper can lash out on me. After about a half an hour of pain, our pizza finally came. The pizza was a work of art. I took a slice from the spicy monkey side and bit into it. It was was just dreamy delicious. The pepperoni and the fennel sausage was awesome along with the sprinkles of shredded parmesan on top. I finally figured out that the parmesan was the stench that was permeating throughout the pizzeria. The Hawaiian monkey side was also great. Slices of Canadian bacon, bits of pineapple and toasted sliced almonds. The flavor of the toasted almonds gave it a nice twist in taste. Overall the pizza was the best thin pizza I’ve had in a while. I just wished we had something like this in Vacaville. Definitely a great place for bomb ass pizza.

It was okay, definitely not a destination place. Pizza was fine but not outstanding, atmosphere was nothing special. Fried cauliflower, which came highly recommended, was overbreaded and actually a bit of a disappointment considering how it had been so talked up to us. Our server was wonderful, though, but the service alone is not enough to warrant a return visit.

Good pizza! We ordered the Cosmic Chicken and the Speck a Roni pizza. Loved the funky names on the menu. Both were thin crust — nicely done. Liked how the ingredients wee spread to the edges, unlike some places that cheat on the toppings. We got 2-a 14″ and a 16″ plus appetizers of the garlicky bread sticks and the fried cauliflower. Fed 4 hungry people with leftovers to spare. And those fried cauliflowers– wow. This is a must ordered. The garlic bread was good too– thin, crunchy. There is a lot of different pizzas to try– we’ll need to come back. We made ressies thru Unilocal app — pretty easy and received a call back to confirm. Also got a text confirmation and a reminder. It was a bit busy so we’re glad we made ressies. Especially if you’re a larger party. It’s kinda a small place. There is parking next to the place BTW

My cousin and I dropped in here after passing by several times. We came in about an hour before closing, so service was starting to wind down. We ordered the Dr. Beverly and cheesy garlic bread. The Dr. Beverly($ 13 for a 10-inch) is pretty simimar to Serious Pie’s soft egg pizza. It has bacon, 3 soft eggs, and is topped with arugula. The bacon was sparse, but the eggs were pefect. The pizza couldve used more seasoning, but it tastes great when the pepper flakes are piled on. The cheesy garlic bread is amazing. For $ 6 you get a pizza sized serving of bread sticks. Well seasoned and ultra cheesy. The marinara sauce it came with was pretty good, but I preferred it with ranch. The ambience is really cozy and cute. Lots of nerdy and monkey themed paraphernalia everywhere. They are looking to expand soon. The service is really friendly!

5 stars for the pizza and garlic cheese breadsticks. For the price we thought it was reasonable and worth it. The garlic breadstick was a huge portion and delish. The pizza we got was the one with the soft egg on it. It was good too, I thought it was a little under seasoned but still good. Service was a tad slow, but we did come in 40 minutes before closing and they only had one server. She was busy trying to close so she didn’t check on us much… But she was nice. I’m excited to try the other pizzas. It’s a cool hole in the wall and better than those pizza chains for sure! They also mentioned they wanted to expand and have delivery soon! Yay

Okay, I clearly FORGOT to review, LAME, Clover, LAME. I loved this place. I’ve been a few times, and I have found that a) the food is FRICKINGDELICIOUS, the toppings are really high quality, that crust is fantastic and I’d choose this place over some of the more noted wood fired places anytime. b) the servers all know what’s up so totally go with whatever they suggest c) that stromboli was YES, PLEASE, GETINMYMOUTH and I loved every bite d) they have gluten free crust if you so desire e) it’s small but you can usually find a table inside f) for the only downside, it tends to be a long wait sometimes to get your food, another drink and then the check. Overall, I’d suggest this as an excellent take out place or to stop in and have some food if you’re not in a huge hurry.

I am a sci-fi nerd and if there is a place that has beer and its menu that’s sci-fi related, count me in! Their pizza crust is thin and crispy, just the way the hubs likes. With the option of creating your own pizza, either you do it their pizza is great.
