Lovers is such a Seattle Staple. Yea, you don’t get the«best» deals but they have a good selection and the staff is really helpful and not pushy. This location is in a shady part of Renton. Selection is fine, staff was nice.

It was ok. I went because of some Unilocal deal. It is at a seedy location. Kinda dark and dank, I guess it has to be? The prices are a little high, the quality of the products are almost cheap and novelty-ish? I think a local business in Seattle would sell quality stuff, rather than this chain. The girl working there seemed pretty knowledgeable of the products. I wish there were better deals on things.

As compared to other specialty shops I like the Lovers chain best. You don’t feel awkward walking into one of these stores as the workers talk story with you and make you feel comfortable. The store is always clean and organized which I’m a stickler for. The usually have coupons: given in person, in valpack, or through Unilocal!check-ins! *wink* Those help out a lot as it’s a little pricey, but what products of this kind aren’t? I like their variety of all the different products as well as the staff’s product knowledge. The only things I don’t like about this store is, well, the location. It’s off of Rainier and is in a slightly ghetto small shopping area. There was a «homeless person»(who really didn’t look homeless because he had some nice Nike’s on) sitting with his sign a few stores down. The most recent time we were here there was a fight that broke out and some guy slammed into the window of the store and the cops ended up coming. A lot of thug looking people hand out in the parking lot. I’m kind of scared of this area and would prefer going to the Tukwila location. November challenge(11/06/2012)

This is a nice place for coupon-goers(whether it be ripped out of random paper you get in the mail, a Unilocal check-in, or bribery). Pros? –Clean environment –Can try out different things in the store(which is nice when there’s an overwhelming amount of funny advertisements) –Friendly, helpful employees Cons? –Pricey without coupons –The organization of the products is confusing

It’s no Babeland but I think Lover’s has its niche. It’s smaller, therefore can fit in smaller locations, as opposed to Babeland’s massive square footage. There’s a pretty good selection of lubes and condoms(among other things). Before i thought I saw a condom I was going to get(one of the many«smooth» ones), my glance caught a yellow box up in the corner: «Trojan Ultra Ribbed Lubricated»… ultra ribbed, eh? *mind wonders* For the lube, I asked the lady for some recommendations on different things: «Best for lasting? Most natural? Easiest to clean? Easier body breakdown?» After a few minute of her show-and-telling, I picked the WaterSlide Personal Lubricant(ingredients are just purified water, propanediol [natural humectant], and natural carrageenan(sea plant). She was friendly & helpful; I left satisfied

This place is a little bit pricey but I enjoy going here. Lots of cool stuff and a ton of fun things to give to people.
